Subsonic is faster than superhuman, and we know DB does not, but the Mach 3 cap (Even if you buy it, Yuta still scales to Mach 3, which makes his travel speed greater than Jotaro)

Small rant incoming, but if I'd known there was a thread, I would've been arguing how this still isn't resurrection. Michael feigns death all the time, and as a natural process of being a horror novel with the need to create tension, the prose describes the situation as it appears to be, not as it is. Loomis' inner thoughts have taken precedence at this point in narrative, he is the POV, and literally thinks how he's not sure if it's over. He says he's going to go check on the body, BECAUSE HE NEEDS TO MAKE SURE HE'S DEAD. Loomis reloads his gun, and carefully makes his way down. Then Michael is gone.
Playing possum/taking time to dramatically disappear when unobserved is something that Michael does a lot, and to wounds much more egregious than this, I don't know why it's being taken so literal. Also, using the back page of Halloween 4 as a means of giving Michael soul manipulation is even dumber. Like, why assume that Michael literally pulled his soul back into his body, as opposed to reading this as just the authors explanation as to why the series is continuing (the reason is money.) This is the Doylist explanation for why the series must go on, not a Watsonian explanation describing how 'dead' Myers is. You'd think someone in-universe would mention that he had no vitals and was literally just a corpse, but no, they infirm him to a hospital like a live patient.
I got nothing for baby Myers popping back to life. While it's something that has happened for newborns before, I do admit that it's likely being used to give Myers a sense of otherness. It seems like a power that would surely come in handy for other situations that adult Myers doesn't use, but whatever.
