I'd say Yujiro Hanma is at least well known enough to carry an episode between him and Hayato. Plus they'd be the first rep for their series, so it'd be two new franchises.

Remember when Gon vs Midoriya was big? I don't even think there is anyone else for Gon, so HxH is probably not going to see its protagonist get in DB.

I am still surprised 2B vs Eve (from Stellar Blade) isn't a thing for very obvious reason

Everyday that it doesn't get announced is a chance for 2B vs Alita to happen instead. Eve wouldn't be a problem if it weren't that 2B is Alita's only real chance of getting on the show.

I really feel Death Battle just need to explain the process on what goes on behind the scenes in tackling a mu and a characters relevance to the algorithm because there's so many popular characters that could've been used to jet solid clicks just to waste away
