They never mention speed for the fight, but since they mention GR being a threat to "an infinite number of infinite universe, infinite timelines, higher dimensions, transcendent realms, and the bulk space inbetween" you can probably say GR has that advantage too simply for the far superior feat/being able to fight on that level far more consistently

The DB team isn't a hive-mind, so what one member might think is right isn't reflective on the whole. The same applies to any group tbh, unfortunate most people tend forget this and make gross generalizations (I too have been gulity of this).

There have been plenty of DB's, where Swan likes a character and or likes certain arguments said characters have, and said character ends up losing, he must be a terrible at convincing people then.

Swan also supported G1 blog for Dante not being universal, which not only they were proven biased and purposely cropping scans and so on, but later they had to excuse themselves that they didnt double check good enough, when in reality they tried to cover up for being exposed doing that, Swan shouldnt dare open his mouth on a topic where he gets called out for such extreme cases that hurt his team
