DEATH BATTLE! Discussion Thread (All-time Death Battle Spoilers Alert)

Why the hell is Arceus making all of these super powerful rocks flying around the cosmos
A needed sacrifice to get rid of these pesky verse soloing dinosaurs.

I am, by showing respect to both franchises.

Unless you mean to imply that being a pokemon fan means I need to blindly badmouth other series just because they have better cosmologies than us?

No, you're attacking and downplaying Pokemon to gas up Yu-Gi-Oh.

Holy shit, I forgot that they admitted they don't believe in 2-A Pokemon.

That... literally and directly implies they don't think Pokemon's multiverse is infinite.
No, that's 'literally and directly implies' that Pokemon's multiverse is surpassed by something having a infinite multiverse AND dimensionally transcending dimensions.
Pokemon can still be 2-A and be surpassed by those dimensions

No, they said it had a infinite multiverse AND spaces that transcended the dimensions. That is very clearly saying it's above 2-A

You know what? I'm kind of Sean's side here. I'm sure they do think Pokemon's multiverse is infinite, but this line seems to imply the opposite.

You right. I shouod run more. I run draco tail
Ah yes, resorting to cheating, my favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! pastime.
Just to spite me in particular!
... That's a good reason, keep it up despite the inefficiencies @TsukasayaEmmaDCD!
I disagree because of the 2nd half, those extra dimensions beyond the multiverse would be beyond any infinite multiverse interpretation for Pokemon
Sure, but the way it's worded implies they don't think Pokemon has an infinite multiverse in the first place. (Also, you can argue that Pokemon has similar realms, which funnily enough, mostly come from the anime if I recall correctly, but that's entirely beside the point).

Eh, by that point it's entirely speculation on wording. By the same words we could assume that when they say 'with max favor interpretation' that Ultra Space is also a dimensionally transcendent space but Yugioh wins out due to having multiple of them. My only point was that the description they used for Yugioh was clearly beyond a 2-A rating with what they said

That's true.

I'm not sure about that, but alright.
My only point was that the description they used for Yugioh was clearly beyond a 2-A rating with what they said
Sure, but that doesn't really address Sean's concern/point.

Seans main point was that they explicitly didn't believe 2-A pokemon, with his logic being that the statement in any way calls it out. While one might interpret it as such saying it's blatant or literal is just not the case. Nothing about the black box outright says that Pokemon can't be 2-A as the bar it's being compared against is well beyond it

But it wouldn't, Base Ganondorf stomped the Triforce, remember?
We've been over this sean ol' pal, there's nothing showing he ever did such a thing and later on is explictly shown and stated to be weaker than individual Triforce pieces, a tidbit you keep leaving out whenever talking about universal Ganondorf
