DEATH BATTLE! Discussion Thread (All-time Death Battle Spoilers Alert)

Question for Fate knowers, isn't a bunch of resistances in Fate tied to specific skills? Like, doesn't Nero have a bunch of resistances specifically because of her Magic Resistance rank which means that said resistances should only work against magic based attacks? This doesn't normally matter since everyone in Fate uses magic for basically everything and you need magic to interact with Servants but when fighting people from other settings then shouldn't most of these powers and abilities be completely useless if magic isn't involved?

It's worse actually. You need a verse specific mechanic to even harm Servants at all, that being Mystery and its so specific in how it works that it would be damn near impossible to verse equalize for any verse out there, meaning she's basically invincible unless they really nerf how this works.

He definitely doesnt, he has been actively affected by time manipulation in his own show, literally had himself aged down to being a toddler and his pokemon aged backwards into eggs.

Yes as in it is magic.

No because magic in fate is basically reality warping and a fundamental part of reality. It's a literal mystery with a dozen abilities tied to it inherently.

Please do try to explain to the guy who spent the last few months on a team researching Ash and Yugi how Ash resists time manipulation when he's shown explicit vulnerability to it.

Ngl Nero taking this makes sense
Bayonetta and Sephiroth are returners who had cool fights on the show and while ya can argue easily of a better analysis and take than before it just "they had there turn already" also neither had a strong push
Liu Kang while haven't been on, still have folks wanting him to fight Jago,MK already been on the show multiple times and Him vs Geats while not bad, The Pairing wasn't exactly the most exciting between the two series

Nero benefit from Fate being long overdue and folks being desperate in seeing it on and Fate and Kamen Rider is a strong and cool pairing
