DEATH BATTLE! Discussion Thread (All-time Death Battle Spoilers Alert)

I heard this Yami Yugi fella is a type of ghost...
hmm... ghost type...
hmm... pokeball...
hmm...Ketchum'all...

I'm curious whether the DB treats Time Wizard as a Monster card (Anime/OCG(TCG)/Duel Links) or as a Spell card (in the Manga, Time Wizard has always been a Spell card). Or perhaps it uses both.

And that feat is sourced from DSOD Guide, not from Bonds Beyond Time.

And where does “The human dimension consists of an infinite number of universes, each with an infinite number of timelines” come from, the guide only purely mentions that the light creates an infinite number of universes at the beginning of the movie to make up the Multiverse. But it doesn't say that there are an infinite number of timelines for universes, or that these universes are contained by human dimensions. These remain to be researched.
By the way I think the YGO anime timeline's feat and the YGO manga timeline's feat should be distinguished separately.
Incidentally, regarding the claim that “the universe wasn't born from a single card,” many people think this alone disqualifies scaling the feat of creating the universe to Horakhti. But this is actually a playful reference to the GX/ZEXAL mention of the universe originating from a card—not a direct reference to Horakhti.
Moreover, many forget that in the manga, Horakhti isn't a card but a divine entity. The real-world Horakhti card is purely symbolic and commemorative in nature. (Therefore, using this point to argue that Horakhti cannot be scaled to create the universe is sheer nonsense.)

Yeah so fun fact, thats a thing that actually happened, and is the reason why deck limits exist in yugioh. There was a tournament where a guy was protesting the lack of a limit to how many cards you can have in a deck, so he built a 2000 card deck comprised almost entirely of cards that would require him to shuffle the deck every time he played one, so every time he played a card he spent roughly 20 minutes shuffling his deck just to waste as much time as possible.

Goated

Seeing that Yugi might actually take physicals after all the years of 'lol Ash can just punch him and end the fight instantly' is a little cathartic ngl. Nothing really against Ash as I grew up with Pokemon and I loved how they adapted my favorite region (Sun/Moon) but seeing the Pokeverse getting fraud checked this weekend will be awesome (potentially)

Just hope that DB can deliver on this one after a stretch of matches that have just been meh or worse the past few episodes for me personally.
