I think the connections/contrasts, closeness, and legacy are rock solid enough that this one flaw can be looked over. Plus, I am NOT letting Mash fight Saiki even if I have to die to see it not happen (Rock Lee is good but he's had all of his material covered already and Mob is in the same boat ig? Will Serfort is also kinda good but he gets turned into paste and that's not fun)

Also what's with Asta's most popular MUs? Meliodas is basically a no go with the huge elephant in the room, and Natsu doesn't look like he has much in terms of connections and contrasts.

Natsu is fairly thematic:
Strong willed intentionally dumb brawlers types with hearts of gold who are part of a group of magic user who are the weirdos of their setting. Both use a power specifically designed to counter magic (anti-magic and dragon slayer magic).
Despite being regularly demonstrated as dumb both have a magnetism personality that make them surprisingly charismatic.
Both are paired up with a rich girl who serve as secondary leads most of the time.
Both characters are associated with demons (Asta with the obvious and Natsu just straight up being one)

I think connection wise the comparison is fairly decent.

This is the same guy that posted an ability layout for Clive V Dante a few days back. It was originally posted here by another user, but I posted it in the FF16 discussion forum recently, they all laughed it off.
It's got plenty of errors for both Dante and Clive, and seems to be AI generated.
This seems along the same lines.

A good example of those errors is the core time manipulation mostly comes from Shiva not Leviathan, zero mention of Omega who actually is a very important part of the FF16 scaling chain, for some reason Nero nor his dad aren't considered among the DMC god tiers, completely forgets the Bangle of time for Dante, etc.

Not to sound like a gatekeeper but not only does it look like AI slop but if it wasn't then it was written by a fandom tourist who clearly hasn't played either of those games and likely just cobbled together some different wiki articles and injected their head-canon on top.

Okay I know I am going to sound hypocritical since this one doesn't have too many connections, but considering Death Battle still did Mob vs Tatsumaki on the basis of "ONE's psychic characters", this would rock hard.... Mob still gets turned to paste unfortunately

Mmm, yeah, these are cool. However, Mash does also fit the first and third points. Mash's will is so strong that despite the persecution he faces he still fights to make a brighter world for himself and his pops and eventually everyone in the world (and he can still fight on despite having his heart ripped out so hey that's some strong willpower), and he's also a bit of dummy that still brings people to the light thanks to his genuine words.

I also feel as though both Mash and Asta's stories go deeper, as both were persecuted for their lack of magic, who as babies were adopted by kind old men. Their final bosses are also time manipulating wizards who are obsessed with perfection in their own ways.

I think the biggest thing that sells me on the MU though is actually a contrast, that being while Asta is surrounded by devilish imagery and is back by one, Mash is associated with holy imagery and is backed by literal god.
 
They did do MilesDeku and ig Kira technically has a wincon? Would probably not be worst stomp.
 
Freddy Krueger Vs Pennywise really do be one of those MUs that is really good on paper, but looks into their lore and it becomes laughably one sided in Pennywise's favor. And it's not some overwanked meta type shit, Pennywise is just legitimately built different. 💀
