TFW this act did literally nothing to Godzilla, but ensured that Humanity would never be able to advance past the stone age

tbf considering the humans were chilling for 20000 years at that point, maybe they're better without it. Better than summoning another 4D eldritch horror that eats people's shadows.

When it came to Godzilla Singular Point, I think the plot was fine - it's just the fact that they gave a hard sci-fi + philosophy writer a godzilla script to make and then fit it into the confines of a 13ep anime focused on the human side of things that made it feel weird. On a second re-watch it genuienly felt way better.

Its still better than the anime film trilogy by a mile
Getting hit by a truck is better than those films. Those films are genuinely miserable to watch.
Nah the first one was alright. The rest were definitely bad.
I recently rewatched it on Netflix and yikes I didn't realize how much of an edgefest it was (and not in an entertaining way either):

*Genocide
*Suicide
*Nihilism
*Ableism
*Cults
Etc

Humanity is doomed with the few survivors starting a harem with bug people while the MC ends his own life alongside his brain dead cyborg girlfriend to end the "cycle of hatred" and prevent civilisation from advancing beyond worshipping an egg. This is one the most WTF! endings I've seen in a hot minute and this is suppose to be the ending for a Godzilla trilogy?

A shame really, Godzilla Earth's powers and design are great if a bit wasted in this setting.

First movie for me was cool since it was the introduction and the reveal of Godzilla actually being way, WAY bigger was awesome. The second movie had a few cool scenes but the fact that "Mechagodzilla" was a city was garbage. Third movie had one cool thing, that being the scene where the Volo-looking mf summons Ghidorah and he eats people through shadows. That was badass.

I've seen BOTW/TOTK Link vs Aang pop up a decent amount, can anyone give a rundown on the connections. I know of the obvious ones like being in suspended animation for 100 years before coming back to save the world and having allies whose powers are centered around elements (And I guess Link technically has elemental powers but not in the same way that Aang does, well except for his earthquake wind punch thing in TOTK), but what else is there?

Seems like a cool MU, also has nice fight potential I can see their fighting styles bouncing off each other. Aangs more innate abilities constrasting Links equipment. Shame there's no way to make it fair. Link in BOTW would blitz and one shot normal Aang, but the Avatar state would one shot Link, and then in TOTK Link gets strong enough to one shot the avatar state...

... Actually even with the AP disadvantage BOTW Link would likely still beat the avatar state due to speed and ancient arrows.

People really think Ancient Arrows are an insta-win in the big 2025

So whats this suppose to mean, hulk from hell or?
It's a direct follow up from a storyline where Hulk defeated a child of some cosmic entity called the Mother of Horrors, who, to make a long story short is an abstract who's actions led to TOAA creating TOBA in a fit of rage to destroy her. Basically Hulks been possessed by the child he beat and turned into a monster and plans on kickstarting a new age where ancient monsters beyond comphrension rule over all creation.

So like, yeah it's basically Hulk from hell.

Do tell how Aang is gonna counter deconstruction hax from someone who can fire arrows faster than he can react to.
