I kinda have fondness for King K. Rool vs Blackbeard, but as a non-OP reader I figured itd be just a basic "big fat evil pirate" theme, but hey villain vs villain fights are usually fun.

- Both of their major story beats involves stealing fruits that have special properties

Where pretty much where they had base Bowser at is where they'd put K. Rool since at worst he's comparable to DK and more often than not he's treated as straight up superior (I think some of the sports games even just give K. Rool equal power stats to Bowser, or every so slightly below him). Hell Bananza goes out of it's way to hype up K. Rools strength by having him defeat Void Kong in a single punch, same dude who can take a few hits from DK and still be fine.

I've also seen King Dedede suggested for K. Rool, though admittedly I'm not sure if that's much better: unless it's an army battle, it could quickly turn into a repeat of Wario vs Dedede I feel...

Its painful generic Nintendo villain fight tbh.
Dedede kinda got stuck by bad MUs but vs Wario was actually my niche wish that happened. And mainly cause Bowser had Eggman which is way better.

So since we've gotten Spider-Man vs Deku, what future MHA characters do you think are likely to happen. Me personally I'll give some I think have genuinely high chances of coming on as well as ones that have grown on me quite a lot.
Used to be an Dabi Azula guy but I quite vibe the contrasts with Winter for Dabi and there's more of a debating scene there.
Captain Falcon vs All Might is my Favourite here; The Returnee MU
I think Rengoku is Mirio's best opponent and for both, more Demon Slayer would definitely be cool and I get this one.
(Anything is better than Rex Splode or Squidward for Bakugo) Raphael vs Dynamight (my most wanted Baku MU) has the best going into their characters, fight potential and banter whilst there being a debating scene if you include 2003.
End it off I think all these are at least Good Alt worthy.

Although now that you mention it, I should probably do a clean update after my FFXIII binge recently, and see how many opponents to Xeno JRPG characters end up in which series.
