which is double even more on the incosistency considering that you require more power for the second, and is not even remotly enough to be able to travel THROUGH TIME.
saying it is a different timeline does not erase it being a inconsistency in the power levels (also this is stupid considering that the movies follow the same path has the anime...sometimes)

Yes, yes we can quantify it (in the same way we can "quantify" the difference between Universal + and Low Multiversal to beyond) this excuse seems quite weak to me because you are literally assuming that somehow the dimensional walls are stronger (without proof)just so your scaling somehow makes sense?
that does not make it better than assuming that Frieza somehow now can have the ability to send people to the past (which is not only said that much in the story, but it is almost the most nonsensical thing ever)
I know I sometimes come across as unreasonable and even stupid (my fault in all honesty) but I genuinely don't understand how this is in any way unreasonable? You're arguing that Frieza is universal (without saying so) through causing time travel in a very ambiguous way that the story doesn't give any depth to.

Tell you what, fun idea:
We pick a random tier (no. 0-11), and one of us has to post an MU corresponding to that tier, erstwhile tagging someone else in the thread, and spinning a wheel for them to find a different tier to find an MU for. Bonus points if the chosen MU is debateable.

You can think the story is bad but that doesn’t in-turn make the powerscaling bad by default. There are also stories that are good that have abysmal powerscaling

On the flipside, Grant Morrison has some of DC's best content and goes hard in on esoteric high concept powerscaling through the writing.

It has high highs and low lows, but evens out to an enjoyable experience. I don't even enjoy comics as a medium all that much, especially western ones, but I tell everyone its worth a read.
