Location: Brisked Bear

It was snowfall again, with green snowflakes radiating the surrounding area. Amidst the fallen debris and wreckage, there were small shacks built by the remaining survivors before they too were taken by "them". Lots upon lots of these creatures are seen, but they all have dispersed and gone out into multiple islands to continue their ever-so-inscrutable goals.

"Hooo... Welp, guess I gotta look for somethin' to eat.." a boy said, his eyes slowly adjusting to the darkness as he woke up from his "bed", made from what seemed to be a pile of concrete bags. He looks down and wears his sandals, putting one foot at a time. Standing up, he walks over to a broken and rusty drawer infested by wood-boring beetles, where opening it reveals a stained grey shirt and a black hoodie, covering what seems to be a bouquet of white flowers and a black bullpup stock.

...

Turning on the flashlight as it makes a clicking sound, the boy trekked the wrecked buildings, still yawning as he looks on.

"Ahh... there's nothin' there, also that.... and that too..." he said, sighing as he continued.

There were so many guts and blood thrown around the city, though it never bothered him given he's used to seeing them on live television ever since the very first invasion. Though he is still disgusted by them given he's looking for food and not some edgy painting made by a serial killer- other rather... serial killers...

"The pizza was good, wish I could find 'nother jackpot like tha-"

A noise broke out of his out-loud monologue, he pulls out a modified P90 from his hip, puts the dial on full-auto, and start to **** the charging handle before letting go, the sound of metal echoing as he approaches the noise. He places his cheek on the stock, his grip unwavering as he trained his sights on whoever's going on to be on the other end of the barrel.

"Ah, shit... Here we go again..."

Again, Lewis prevented anything coming close to the Caravan, gigantic Puppets descending down upon from the aerial fleet to pummel the shadows as they were brought by colossus down and about.
With the deaths of those, and break through the Ashes, the city came to life with shrieks of varying pitch and decibel value... but not a single attack yet

The city looked like it was torn to bits, rebuild shoddily, that collapsed, and it got rebuilt a worse way, rinse and repeat ad infinitum, it was a mess, and it looked like a slight poke would cause a chain reaction of collapsing buildings, roads, hell, even that somehow still operational clocktower in the distance... and behind it? An orange glow that said their target had reached his destination.

Jackie noticed that last thing while he sighed, this time he would have to redirect his hatred to the big one, he had stolen a hammer from someone who died in the attack the group suffered by Deathwing the last time, he didn't know much about how to use this contraband but he knew that it was a thing that would kill a Waterboarder or at least do some damage unlike conventional weapons, obviously he didn't expect Deathwing to fall for the weapon rather it was life insurance, he didn't want to go unprotected to the battlefield like a useless Man

The colossal puppets now starting their walk, marching onward to the Caravan's side as Lewis lead the way.

"Well shit, here we go again...." Dene muttered, "... Really wish that Nutzlos guy is here, we gon' need to jump this f*cker with all that we got..."

Turning back on the group, he said, "Y'all! We're gonna go all out on this b*tch, you hear?! No more p*saying around!"

With his hand, white lines formed from his palm, their form gathering and forming in unison. A long shape, a handle and a tubular form— guns surround him as he gets ready, all adorned with a signature rose— a motif behind the flowers. Gotta make sure this will be this lizards' funeral.

Belle was staring up at the skies, leaving others (mostly Lewis) to do the fighting and the vehicle she was entrusted with to lead the way. At a glance, it appeared as though she was searching for shapes in clouds and nothing else. Hard to tell if something was on her mind, if she even noticed the events taking place.

❝Nice catch.❞ She finally speaks. Seems that she was paying attention, after all. ❝But is this the first time you pointed a Contraband at a waterboarder? Can you hammer them, rookie?❞ these words aren't Belle's own. To anyone who knows, you know.
It's Metal Gear Solid.

❝You didn't disappoint, Lewis. Now...let's get to work, shall we?❞ except for the ring around her neck and the sphere that Sofia had entrusted to her mind, Belle looks no more armed than she was before. Of course, this said nothing of the reality of things. The majority of her talons were hidden in plain sight.

"Aight... Let's do this and go home. F*cking tired of this bullshit*t..." Dene groaned with disappointment, the guns all riled and ready to shoot some freedom. American he isn't, but the spirit of the USA and the Second Amendment, still lives on.

Jackie sighs, of course he was hoping someone would tell him that but he didn't really care, he has lived long enough in this rotten world, those who no longer have anything but their life and are willing to waste it to win are the ones who resist the most, He knew that from the moment he began to survive alone until the RR found him.

"I can handle this" he said seriously moving the hammer, maybe he wasn't Thor but he could use the War hammer 40000 without problems just don't know how to active its true power.

Noah put away her console and looked at everyone else, her eyes were focused on where she felt Deathwing's presence, she gritted her teeth, she was going to release her fury against her cousin, she just has to avoid being burned alive while helping the others without reveal what she really is.

"Okay, let's finish off the bastard." She say while she snaps her fingers to take out her own gun

it took all of Two entire seconds for the first Waterboarders to show up, rage in their gazes, from frog-creatures, cthulhu-looking monsters, to actual ******* werewolves, this place had variety, and numbers just spread out enough that you couldn't just throw a rock and make them trip like dominos for some ******* video that probably took 3 weeks to make for one 10-minute video, but just clumped enough that they looked like a sea of creatures appearing from the alleys

"There's more..." Palaria muttered, she looked annoyed more than anything, with the fact she's all but picked these things out of her cereal every morning for some years combined with Lewis literally existing would make these encounters fairly easy if not time consuming.

Dene would start to snipe some of them, starting to get angry by the monsters stopping their way to that damn lizard.

Lewis would start raining down puppets, with giants stomping on them, somewhat ruining Dene's shot as the mere crystal bullets was destroyed amongst the relentless volley of his Contraband.

Noah helped with what she could, anything that was out of range from the projectiles of her friends was also destroyed, she shot with care and precision, her senses extended to be able to sense the supernatural presence of the other Waterboarders, each bullet she fired was previously calculated to hit any weak point that she believed they had.

Jackie for his part wait, if something managed to get through the wall of projectiles, he would be the first to hit it with his war hammer.

"Fodder, again~? I'm so bored!" Marcy said while kicking her feet into the air.

"They're not even that threatening" she continued before quickly standing up and pointing at one.

"bang" and the creature exploded.

"bang" another one joined it

"bang, bang! Bang! BANG!" many many many of these creatures fell, exploding where they stood from invisible attacks and even this wasn't enough.

"Alright, time for the big guns" she continued as she positioned her hand in front of the other one, as if holding a machine gun.

"Ya-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta ya-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta do-de-da-va-da-da-dada!" wherever she pointed, entire rows of these creatures fell, even those already close to the wall. Simply twirling around and aiming wherever wiped out all these monsters

It took another three seconds for both Marcy and Lewis to get cheap-shotted at once by something from a building a dozen meters away, which was more than likely promptly turned into whatever happens to Waterboarders when they die, probably a fine mist of what the **** ever...

And it also didn't take long for Waterboarders to start coming up  around the Caravan to cause Havoc, including knocking over a building directly into the Caravan, which could cause a problem considering rocks+humans don't really get along too well, especially not when there's also metal there!

"No worry, only many many more of those groups to go..." Palaria said, sighing and just sitting down

"Your confidence will be your undoing Palaria..." Deathwing's voice rattled in Palaria's head, giving her an immediate headache and driving her breathing to be a little shaky, whether that was actually the massive Waterboarder or simply something trying to rattle her bones was another question entirely, since it wouldn't be out of character for either to screw with her head.

"Good job, kid." said Lewis from the Caravan. "Your name?" he asks.

The Caravan would start to produce rifles that shot out puppets to deal with the Waterboarders, before trying to ascend upwards to gain the higher ground. If it fails, then Lewis would use the remainder of his puppets, recycling the destroyed ones to strengthen the surviving ones to hack away at them.

The Caravan wasn't really made of metal, nor anything material on Earth. Rather made using the puppets Lewis made into the shape of flying vehicles, upon which quickly used the knocked up force to ascend into the air and fly that way.
(Okay now I need to edit, cause it wasn't explained to me that way lol)

Noah watched as the debris along with some pieces of metal fell, knowing that she had to protect the others, she concentrated, took part of her recharged reserves to magnetically take control of the metals use them to separate and to crush any other Waterboarder so they would not reach the vehicles

Jackie, for his part, moved to help Palaria.

"Paps What happen to you?" He say after get close, he was worry about his friend

"Marcy" she replied.

The puppet would block, but, the lackluster of a durability from Lewis' own rushing to make them, causes some damage. "Tch..."

With the healthy destruction of the grounded melee Waterboarders, more ranged attacks were coming, each different in their appearance but almost the same in effect, blowing through much of the metal and being stalled only by the boards' defenses, that would likely reveal themselves with dangerous attacks coming too close...

It would appear their ranged assailants were invisible, but that wasn't much of a problem to those who had the strategy and time to see where the shots came from.
Jackie, for his part, moved to help Palaria.

"Paps What happen to you?" He say after get close, he was worry about his friend
"...just something trying to mess me up in head. It no matter." Palaria muttered quietly, her head bowing, not meeting Jackie's gaze in the slightest. But seeing as she was seemingly their most effective card to play at the moment, things getting under her skin were a certain problem

"It's time you faced the truth Palaria, all that awaits you and those mortals is Death. Death with no true purpose. Death as simple as closing your book!" There the voice was again, trying to break her before she even entered the fight, seeing as Information flowed like a river, the only true thing that had to be done before a battle was mindgames, to taunt the opponent, to throw them off their game, and for someone utterly untrained in mental Warfare, mind games were all too effective on Palaria, which took it's tole on her body, her breathing getting just a little more shaky and with sweat beginning to form on Palaria's forehead, she was losing very valuable water when dealing with a Volcano dwelling Dragon.

If the telepath was Deathwing, it was clear he was weakening whom he saw as the strongest member before engaging in battle, as in truly serious fights, information is the #1 resource, you could feign ignorance to an opponent's abilities, fake weaknesses you don't have, and lead the opponent into a position they cannot win from, all while you make a plan to lead your opponent along, even if you lack much of the other two, if you have a good plan and control the information, you can win many bouts of combat you can harm the opponent in even when you lose the next two areas

Mental combat is #2, if the opponent is having doubts, second thoughts, intrusive thoughts, that leads them to make mistakes, plus, you can combine mental combat with your information to strike blows to enrage or cause extreme emotion in the opponent, though a fair viewing of what the opponent is like when truly angered is something to be checked first, as it is extraordinarily dangerous to anger an opponent who gets far more calm when truly enraged.

And finally, Power and Skill are #3, if you can't harm the opponent or they can't harm you, your chances of victory rise exponentially, even a minor power and skill gap can be extraordinarily useful when deciding if you can win fights when the other two are even.

Seeing as Deathwing had Palaria in all three, her chances of winning against him were approaching zero...

however, she was not alone. She had an entire organization of forces behind her back, their chances still wouldn't be very good, but at the end of the day, they didn't really have a choice but to take those odds and make the most of them.

Caleb's head jotted up. Fortunately for them, they had an extra sense that let them detect and pick out the "signatures" of Waterboarders like blips on a radar in addition to picking up on small noises they made. One by one, Caleb's head jutted all about as they pin-pointed the location of the invisible adversaries, much to the confusion of his allies.

"They're all around. Anyone with range, make sure to focus them."
Caleb began marking targets systematically, not wanting their allies to fall behind on killing them. As marking too many at once would lead to quick radiation poisoning. With the enemies marked, their locations were very clearly apparent to anyone allied with Caleb, with their attacks now having homing properties towards said marks.

"Alright everyone, at one. One~" Marcy exclaimed to nobody in particular, followed by these enemies quickly being torn apart where they stood

Jackie looked at Palaria, knowing that Deathwing could possibly be bothering her. He gave a sigh, he couldn't do anything, for now he would only be in charge of taking care of Palaria's physical body while she dealt with her head.

Seeing the targets, Noah began to do something to attack from a distance, she put both hands together while they glowed a purple tone, slowly, she took a breath and began to redirect the surrounding metals to go after the Waterboarders enemies, crushing them to death.

Dene would try to assist as he cover fire the rest with his sniper rifle, launching glass rockets and the like. Meanwhile Lewis waited and didn't attack much, as his puppets would get in the way.

His main target wasn't them, but rather, Deathwing. He did state that against Belle and made a promise to everyone he'll face him.

But, unlike the rest wanting to "kill" him, he has other things in mind. There are factors leading as to why, and he has the how— the means to do it.

❝Might not be the best time to ask, but do you know what suction is?❞ Belle scoured the battlefield from every angle before asking. She spoke with rhetorical intent, words addressed at no one individual, as though lecturing. ❝It's the byproduct of atmospheric imbalance. When air is eliminated from any one side, the object is exposed to the crushing atmosphere. Something that we can never escape for as long as we live on Earth.❞

Caleb spared her the trouble of finding out the enemy's location. Illustrating her point was the least that she could do to thank them for that favor. Her elegant walk stops with a rough stomp of her right heel against the earth and a turbulence in the atmosphere. In several places, Waterboarders would be crushed where they stood into bloody paste. Twisted out of shape into masses of flesh that couldn't be recognized even by a mother's eyes. There's not even a sound.

❝Small imbalances aren't enough to cause anything remarkable on their own...but using a physics-bending, space-rending Contraband to control the atmosphere at will is not exactly small. It's easy to spare effort in crushing these things by combining my own mental strength with the weight of the skies.❞ provided that the use of her Contraband's forces in conjunction with the distorted atmospheric pressure had crushed those waterboarders like a barrel subject to an imbalance of hot and cold air, Belladonna would still tsk in frustration. ❝We can't be entertaining small fries for long. Let's end this quickly.❞

Jackie looked at Palaria, knowing that Deathwing could possibly be bothering her. He gave a sigh, he couldn't do anything, for now he would only be in charge of taking care of Palaria's physical body while she dealt with her head.
"..." Palaria closed her eyes and just took very shaky deep breaths, her attempts to crappily calm herself down were failing, partially due to lingering trauma and partially because Palaria was about as civilized and educated as your average African child in poverty.

Now things were getting tricky for the offense, about halfway to the Volcano and having gone the through a quarter of Bloodborne's enemies, now the big ones actually worth taking a little seriously popped up, and while one lanky thing that looked like it came straight out of one of H.P. Lovecraft's novels collapsed a building under it's manifested weight comedically, the eyes that proceeded to fire lasers were a little more of a threat to stall their progress just a little bit

the eyes that proceeded to fire lasers were a little more of a threat to stall their progress just a little bit
"huh, let's see" Noah muttered as she did something, she extended her fist creating a sphere of electrical energy and throw it, that sphere collided with a laser, however, instead of being a conventional collision of energies, Noah planned that her electricity would take the form a capsule that could catch and redirect the laser at the Waterboarder, if it didn't work she could just dodge

(I dont like all but double posting like this but here we go.)

"All that exists, all your insignificant struggles, all your pain, it all only exists to BURN." Deathwing rattled again, now to everyone there... and Palaria grew entirely quiet and still for several, long, moments In all the chaos of the battle around her, the battle to end the harbinger of her misery... she felt like this was just her and Deathwing without support for her, she was terrified, but deep down... she was ready. Ready to do this in victory or death.

So she stood up, walking up to the front of their caravan, and looked up at the glow in the now-revealed Volacano, ignoring the war zone around her as it felt like the city cleared out despite underground assaulters still being numerous, but this was the end of her own pain. One way or another.

"My will is not so easily broken Deathwing! Your torment of me will end!" Palaria shouted out at the dragon that thrived on her agony for so long, fearlessly readying herself to enter the lair of the beast to finish the job

Jackie followed Palaria, covering her back in case anything happens.

Noah on the other hand moved, she thought about something, noticing the supernatural energy of Deathwing, she wanted to try something, she move both hands and gathered energy, it seemed that nothing happened but at that the girl smiled, now ready for the final battle

"Okay, let's get this over with guys" the girl said.

Amidst the distance, Lewis stood there with a brand new look. In front of everyone else, he'd have his pistol on the ready, having pointed the barrel at his temple.

"I'll buy you guys time to recover. I can see most of you aren't at full strength or still not on the mindset to fight... I'll go fight and size up Deathwing... got it?"

"Yes sir!" Dene shouted, preparing his weapons.

Around 3-4 hours, Lewis had begun creating a puppet that he could shapeshift and use to fight against the Dragon.

His Contraband to create items that could manifest abilities are his primary ability. However, what lies underneath his puppets are the process of creation.

Puppets that take around 1 second to create are powerful enough to stop normal Waterboarders with sheer numbers, while those create in minutes are powerful to handle 3-4 monsters on their own.

Days to Weeks would be another league of its own, hence his rank as the second-in-command next to Efrain.

Hours, however, sit between these two levels of power, one extremely strong but not enough to reach those puppets created within a day.

The longer the creation time, the stronger the puppet is non-linearly.

Approaching Deathwing from around hundreds of meters away, his giant fleet of puppets— giants, cannons, jets, and ones all about to fire from a wave of User's hand— appeared behind him.

"You sure like to get your hands on some kid, huh?" asking as if to provoke, he'd use the pistol to shoot himself, his body slightly glowing bluish as his nerves extend past his body.

"Ah yes, allow me to use this time to Monolog about my evil plan!" Deathwing seemingly gloated, but a massive blast happened in order to weaken every puppet in a large area of effect attack

Deathwing had done two things while he was talking, the first was to analyze each puppets' signature, so he knew which ones were more dangerous to him then the rest, and the other thing was to charge an attack in his hidden claws utilizing both the lava and his own chest's glow to entirely hide the fact he was charging an attack to try and deal a large amount of damage quickly. He could be sure this was the real Lewis due to the difference between the one before him and the one prior, he sensed it.

Deathwing didn't fully fulfill the information aspect of combat, he knew that, but he knew Lewis didn't either... Deception would be his friend in this dual of wits

The puppets all disperse to avoid the massive blast, with the ones unable to run using the Contrabands' ability to control and warp space, to block it.

Though there was a possibility of him respawning and resetting all of this again, he'd rather not go back and try to deal with this guy for many more resets than he could possibly have.

Hence, he'd launch the riffraff puppets to mow him down, as he was hiding amongst the thousands of puppets he shot out.

Jackie felt the battle getting wilder and wilder, he breathed and looked at Palaria.

''Well, the big guy is there, we have to give you a chance to hit him in a weak spot, maybe the neck?'' He murmured

"Too comfortable, we can't let him do this for too long" Voyant thought.

"Voidmaker, do the thing. Everyone, ready yourselves!" he continued to the others in their thoughts. In an instant, Deathwing found himself off his perch and right into the puppets Lewis has summoned
