Location: Brisked Bear

It was snowfall again, with green snowflakes radiating the surrounding area. Amidst the fallen debris and wreckage, there were small shacks built by the remaining survivors before they too were taken by "them". Lots upon lots of these creatures are seen, but they all have dispersed and gone out into multiple islands to continue their ever-so-inscrutable goals.

"Hooo... Welp, guess I gotta look for somethin' to eat.." a boy said, his eyes slowly adjusting to the darkness as he woke up from his "bed", made from what seemed to be a pile of concrete bags. He looks down and wears his sandals, putting one foot at a time. Standing up, he walks over to a broken and rusty drawer infested by wood-boring beetles, where opening it reveals a stained grey shirt and a black hoodie, covering what seems to be a bouquet of white flowers and a black bullpup stock.

...

Turning on the flashlight as it makes a clicking sound, the boy trekked the wrecked buildings, still yawning as he looks on.

"Ahh... there's nothin' there, also that.... and that too..." he said, sighing as he continued.

There were so many guts and blood thrown around the city, though it never bothered him given he's used to seeing them on live television ever since the very first invasion. Though he is still disgusted by them given he's looking for food and not some edgy painting made by a serial killer- other rather... serial killers...

"The pizza was good, wish I could find 'nother jackpot like tha-"

A noise broke out of his out-loud monologue, he pulls out a modified P90 from his hip, puts the dial on full-auto, and start to **** the charging handle before letting go, the sound of metal echoing as he approaches the noise. He places his cheek on the stock, his grip unwavering as he trained his sights on whoever's going on to be on the other end of the barrel.

"Ah, shit... Here we go again..."

Well above, at the heights in the sky, the shape of a large circle forms at what you may call center of the atmosphere. Like the opening eye of a storm or artificial hail core of a supercell, it parts. the very clouds.

But it's not calm that follows. Instead the distorted air space makes for an ear-splitting cacophony of destruction that swallows every other noise. No less than an angel from the skies the sphere also falls, the Dragon and any other enemy being its ground zero targets. A fittingly biblical sight, tarnished only by lukewarm response of the mind that has caused it.

❝................Sorry, I got distracted. The only thing more inane is how these invaders went along with it. But talk is cheap and our trip long. Let's finish this.❞

(Rather, I ask so that we end this quickly, because not wanting to publish and not finish this simply means that we cannot move and this stays)

"I'm sure it's due the continued use by the people makes it easier, as a popular nickname for certain things to easily define something and Waterboarders don't care much" Noah said, she honestly accepted the term Waterboarder as something to refer to a species like simply the effect of getting used to the terms, after all the name monkey was a human invention but if monkeys could think and speak they would change it or simply accept it without worrying much

"You got any suggestions then?"
Caleb half-jokingly replied. It wasn't obvious to others, but they were currently processing numerous different plans for what is to come.

Laying down, Sofia was beginning to Stir. Signs of waking were beginning to show. Groans and murmurs as her eyes twitched from the light gently pelting her eyelids.

The puppets all disperse to avoid the massive blast, with the ones unable to run using the Contrabands' ability to control and warp space, to block it.

Though there was a possibility of him respawning and resetting all of this again, he'd rather not go back and try to deal with this guy for many more resets than he could possibly have.

Hence, he'd launch the riffraff puppets to mow him down, as he was hiding amongst the thousands of puppets he shot out.
Deathwing's eyes narrowed, further so when he was teleported, a good tactic, but one that revealed a lot as Deathwing's entire body began to glow a dangerous Orange, and a brief moment later he burst, a wave of fire and death erupting from his black and orange body, and in that attack something different could be sensed, Deathwing had played a card that made it... problematic to simply bend space and time and leave when connecting with his wave of death.
Jackie felt the battle getting wilder and wilder, he breathed and looked at Palaria.

''Well, the big guy is there, we have to give you a chance to hit him in a weak spot, maybe the neck?'' He murmured
"I just be targeted down by everything here if I start. We need stagger him..." Palaria muttered in response so Deathwing wouldn't hear her

"maybe she could use her power when Deathwing is preoccupied with me... could do something at least..." Palaria thought to herself as she overheard that

Some of the low puppets would, of course, be destroyed. They weren't necessarily built for tanking attacks and are just there for either overwhelming the enemy with numbers or prioritizing in trickery.

"Simple but effective..." is what he muttered to himself.

Given the few movesets the Dragon has, it was easy to say that simply revealing all of his movesets while keeping distance with his puppets should do the trick. That way, it'd be hard for Deathwing to use any more of his cards.

With a snap, Lewis would continue using ranged attacks, now propelling 10 minute puppets to create large spikes and hopefully skewer his wings, timing it so that they would attack him after the dragon uses his move.

❝Sure do. How does Extinct species sound?❞ Belle answers before snapping her fingers and an invisible, piercing line is fired. It's fast, at most the size of a needle. Only detected because of the self-evident hole that it left in the atmosphere as it pierced open the magma and flames that came towards her in a way that made it look as though there was no physical resistance that could be offered.

If someone asked what Belle had done, even she wouldn't have known the answer until just before this battle. But now......now she was sure of it. Also certain was the rare sight of a smile on her lips. ❝I'm not sure how effective my first attack was but I must say, this trip was not a complete waste of time. Thanks to all this, I have learned the most effective way to make use of Pysch-O-Uroboros, so far. Really......I could cry tears of joy.❞

"I like the name, but it doesn't have much of a ring to it. Don't think it'd catch on very well. Needs more staying power, y'know?"
Their head quickly jutted away as they sensed something

Sofia's eyes finally swung open, raising her head up like a groundhog from
underneath the earth. She was entirely unaware of their current situation. Though thanks to Caleb, that would change quickly.

Noah sighed, slightly straining her gaze at this girl's word, muttering things about how it will be the same as with Soma.

❝I don't know what you are thinking and it may look like this whole situation is under my control, but veritatem cognoscere. Veritatem cognoscere— Though Belle only spoke the first part, the complete sentence would be Veritatem cognoscere ruat cælum et pereat mundus. To know the truth, even if the heavens fall and the world perishes.

The black haired girl did not want to talk about why she was upset due Belle's word about Extinct species for reasons that Caleb knows, she looked at Deathwing in this case she moved her hands that glowed while she electromagnetically bonded to the nearby metals and used them to try to trap the dragon in constructs, she knew that can't do much to him, but she was hoping to keep him with limited mobility

"That'd be a pleasant break from this. I'll take you up on that offer when this is all over."

Still in a bit of a daze, she would look over to Caleb
"Is she talking to me? Who the hell is Briar Rose?"

Caleb snickered
"Don't worry about it right now. Take it as a compliment."

"We're flirting on the battlefield now?"
She stood up and started stretching out her arms to get limber

"Something like that."
Caleb shrugged

"Pathetic..." Deathwing crowed, he was no fool, he knew what was happening, after all, he'd faced Lewis before!

In an instant blue flame consumed Deathwing, burning the puppets to ash on-contact as the spectacle of a flame spread, the massive dragon spreading his wings and dashing for Lewis, he was fast, it was like the air just bent around Deathwing to let him by with no resistance!

"I need vantage point, someone to defend capable of taking his attacks and Noah so I don't die from Radiation." Palaria muttered, just loud enough for Jackie to hear, clearly she was deep in thought

"Hey, aside from Belladonna, does anyone here have the ability to generate a barrier or something like that? I ask in case we has to generate one to protect from the pieces of labas that he throws at random, Palaria need to go to a place with height ."

"Nice moves."

Just as the dragon was dragon was dashing to him, the time was ripe as he looked at Dene who shot Deathwing with a Ratio Bullet calculated right towards its head.

At the same time the puppets were ashes, 20 minute puppets immediately replaced them with a much harder exterior, two giants holding its wings.

Before pointing his finger down and a massive fist made of coalesced small puppets striking its face.

"The second-made puppets are only holding him back for quite some time. Not until he'd use that fire of his, which— I admit— are a glaring weakness despite shifting their composition to directly oppose that shortcoming." he thought. "But it's a good thing you gave me some insight..."

Deathwing's wings threw the puppets with each flap, let alone the hands of the puppets being melted by the fire, clearly, something was happening with it that a general heat resistance wouldn't cover... and the shot? Oh Deathwing knew about the shot, which meant he knew how to counter it too, since it was merely aimed at his head, he simply swung his head to the side, letting it tink off his metallic jaw, as for the first, Deathwing opened his Maw of Doom, lava, flame, and death blasting from it, the puppets being consumed

"20 minute wouldn't work too, huh?"

Making a gesture with his hand, Lewis would enclose his right hand into an 'O', unfazed by the upcoming attack. Instantly, there'd be a giant pair of mouths biting down on the dragon regardless of the puppets it had melted down.

With 30 minute-made puppets being in use, its durability is a lot better than the rest Deathwing had dealt with, each increasing in strength than the last. If the others weren't holding him down, this should be given the difference.

Maybe buying time was Lewis' ordeal, but if he can get to neutralize and finish this thing off before the others can, the more convenient it is for everyone here.

(Who's Palarai?)
(I wrote it while I was leaving, I was in a bit of a hurry.)

"Eh, I can try moving a couple of sizable metals, I guess." Noah said to Jackie.
(edit) Noah turned around for a moment

"Hey, Marcy, cover us with illusory clones, we don't want the big guy to realize there are missing people" Noah said to the other Waterboarder.
"I'll help her. I haven't gotten the opportunity to kill one of these bastards in a hot minute now. Besides, I wouldn't be a very good leader if I didn't contribute, would I?"
She put her hands in front of her, interlocking her fingers to pop her knuckles.

"Okay, let's do this." Jackie told Noah, Palaria and Valentina, while the others distracted the dragon, the totally improvised surprise attack team should go up to a favorable position, in this way, use the walls of the volcano as minimum protection along with the pieces of metal to prevent any stray attacks from hitting one of them

Palaria was trying her best to be stealthy, but it wasn't entirely smooth sailing with the volcano being a hellscape of it's own with perils such as lava, minor landslides, and rolling boulders to get past, and as such, the skinny and malnourished woman was struggling with the terrain

The heat of the flame increased, turning these puppets to ash too...

"You're going to have to burn more then that, insect..." Deathwing said, in one quick movement he barreled towards Lewis at record speed, dissipating the flame to try and crush the human with his attack, it felt like the massive Waterboarder was finally serious!

Noah crossed this area carefully, however it was easy for her move in this place she was a bit light and had experience in moving through difficult places, Jackie was careful, he didn't want to fall into the lava either and the landslides can be unpredictable.

"Huh...." still unfazed and kept composure, the same puppets that turned into ash came back to hold Deathwing again. Much to no one's surprise, they were built a new feature.

Sure, each time the puppets would be destroyed, they'd become ash. But the recycling of other puppets that were destroyed earlier was child's play compared to creating an entirely new one.

This would mean that, for each time the dragons destroys it, the same destroyed puppets would simply be recreated far faster than the barreling of the Waterboarder.

"It feels nice calling someone an insect..." before sending the dragon with a series of puppets— more on quantity.

Voyant awaited anxiously, knowing it was time. He began to project his "voice" to Caleb, warning.

"He's returning"

"Noted. Could've used him here a bit earlier though. But it can't be helped."
Heavy breathing could be heard from the crowd of gangsters as someone walked through them carelessly, stumbling from the abrupt awakening yet still going out of anger. He stepped out of the crowd eventually, a familiar face.

"The hell has been going on without me?!" Rizzuto said angrily

"Glad you came, gay-ass!" Dene replied, "Efrain's right hand man is handling the dragon! Told us to buy some time for us to go in and jump this lizard!"

❝Somehow, not surprised that the waterboarder well-wisher is also borderline homophobic.❞ Belle contemplates, sighing displeased at the thorough lack of sinergy going on here. But with his priorities out of the way, Dene spoke about Efrain's right hand. ❝Course. Almost forgot that we don't need any when we have that guy. But I'll try it anyway. Time to put Sofia's trust to good use...and the effort of that guy.❞

The sharp noise of a finger striking the thumb came with a word. Rather, a letter.

Π.

The intent was to make Deathwing's body riddled with holes. It had chosen not to raise defenses to her attacks, so this should have worked. This was a habit that she had studied in the dragon since the very first time they fought. A tendency to juggernaut through anything it thought harmless. When its entire body made contact with her forces, Belle compressed the surface area of multiple points into imperceptible needles.

Further and further and further and further. The great scale of her attack had no purpose other than to draw attention away from the unspeakably narrow needles that she pressed from every direction. Invisible funnels that even a human wouldn't perceive being pierced by, let alone a dragon the size of Deathwing and while fighting against Lewis.

What we all also know is that Deathwing has confirmed weak spots, or at least places where attacks have more of a chance to mildly inconvenience it. Someone might ask why does it matter. It matters because Deathwing chose to steamroll through her attacks and ignore any defensive approach, he would have all of these countless funnels nicely installed all over his body. Like conduits.

❝Unlike the man with the puppets, I am terrified of you. But fear is what drives evolution. A life form that has forgotten that fear necessary to survive is the one that will be extinct.❞

Through these conduits, she would have sent the sphere that Sofia had entrusted her, all the way inside the creature's body. Before finally releasing the balanced inward forces that kept it at such a diminutive size. This lethal maneuver that Deathwing had not even tried to perceive or avoid, would be a burst of power so sudden and so violent, even such a nemesis should have no means of escaping it unscathed after its fatal lack of judgment.

This explosive result had to be a blow for all of mankind. To tear it to shreds from the inside out.

Ps Few weeks ago I was told by Reaper that Deathwing just tried to bulldozer through her attacks. Because of higher statistics, he thought none of it was a threat. So he wasn't strategizing, didn't defend or dodge this at all. Sofia's deal and Belle's own were being charged the whole trip and in a post before this Belle explained how Psych-O-Uroboros has no energy loss until she deactivates it. That was one of the reasons that made Sofia trust her own ULT to Belle. Deathwing was almost completely focused on Lewis in the current turn. I can't imagine Deathwing escaping this, all ways I imagined felt ilogically convoluted. But if there is, bring it only if it's credible. Sorry for the long time I took to answer, but after this Belle won't be able to do much so you won't need to wait for me all that often. Everyone wins.

Even from a distance, Noah was able to detect Rizzuto's contraband close to the group, that's good, an extra "hand" to limit the Dragon's mobility will speed up the plan to hit an effective attack.

"Huh, I guess we should be doing something else now?"

"I'm gonna pile onto this one. I trust those two know what they're doing.."
Caleb would forgo any amplifications they were providing their own team members, and instead focused it on Belle and Sofia's attack which she had finally released. Both their power and speed multiplying as Belle committed to the attack. All while also marking Deathwing, making him a homing beacon for the attack and dwindling their speed and physical attributes to a fourth of their usual. They wanted to make sure this attack stuck. And they'd pull out every stop to make sure it did
