Supergirl (Cosmic Adventures in the 8th Grade)
Kara Zor-El, a.k.a. Supergirl, is a teenage Kryptonian from the Argo City region. When her mother wouldn't let her become a cheerleader due to her poor grades, she runs away from home and hides on a rocket headed towards Earth. There she meets her distant relative, Superman. Kara then becomes...vsbattles.fandom.com
I know that but do those dimensions have R>F transcendence? It's explained on the profile.
You may post this in the Tier 2 thread if you’d like. So, I'm looking at one of the feats people argue as an Anti-feat, and it is HILARIOUSLY out of context.
This one: Superman passes out after stopping a ship that would destroy a continent. Action Comics 902
Well, if you read the storyline you'd see: Superman was already weakened from being tortured and repeatedly blasted by Lex Luthor with the power of the Zone Child before he even got to where Doomslayer was. Action Comics #900. He even passes out before he even fights Doomslayer.
Then he gets into another fight with the Doomsdays and gets beaten up by Doomslayer AGAIN immediately before performing this feat. Action Comics 901-902.
Using that as an anti-feat when he's already clearly incredibly weakened feels....disingenuous to me.
OK, thank you.You may post this in the Tier 2 thread if you’d like.
We discussed the Warworld one on here and it was agreed that that one has way too many asterisks. While Superman was sundipped, Warworld was being moved by FTL Thrusters amped by Imperiex.
Teen Titans/JLA is slightly more complicated than "A team is moving the moon". The team specifically is dismantling the weapons and tactics of the Cyberion station, reclaiming the New Genesis tech and keeping Cyberion station from moving the moon in a way that would disrupt Earth. So, I'm looking at one of the feats people argue as an Anti-feat, and it is HILARIOUSLY out of context.

That's... just wrong, and kinda naive?Being weakened, even to a significant degree, doesn't actually prevent these from being anti-feats given the relative enormity of the tier being proposed. So those aren't really rebuttals to these feats and shouldn't be taken as such.
Yeah… no.Being weakened, even to a significant degree, doesn't actually prevent these from being anti-feats given the relative enormity of the tier being proposed. So those aren't really rebuttals to these feats and shouldn't be taken as such.
Oh well in that caseYeah… no.
They're really not mate. This logic doesn't work. They are still valid anti-feats for the tiers being proposed.
I genuinely have no idea where you got that impression, because none of my comments up to this point ever used the word infinite or finite.he can't be weakened to a state where this infinity becomes finite, right?
Doesn't Dragon Ball Super has something like this too?We have a Tier 2 that can hold back to the point that they don't kill 10-Bs, this is basically the same thing
It's not, no. Being weakened doesn't really matter here. Then what you are saying is even more wrong than I initally thought.
This is so horribly wrong, I can't even.Being weakened, even to a significant degree, doesn't actually prevent these from being anti-feats given the relative enormity of the tier being proposed. So those aren't really rebuttals to these feats and shouldn't be taken as such.
Uh, no. It really isn't. The facts are that [insert anti-feat here] is done by a weakened version of a character, and said character can be as weakened as the narrative needs them to be.Eh. You can say that of course, but these are the facts. Some vague notion of "weakened" doesn't mean an event is incapable of telling us anything about a characters power. Pretending that just to achieve a higher rating than is justified is simply an inaccurate way to rate a character.
Dude. In one of those supposed anti-feats, DOOMSDAY kicked his ass. Twice. Not even counting the other events in that comic, but Doomsday going to town on him is more than enough to weaken him to such a degree, given that he, you know, damn near killed him in their first, and pretty much every, encounter.Eh. I absolutely agree with that. Just not for the same reason as you.Doomsday going to town on him is more than enough to weaken him to such a degree, given that he, you know, damn near killed him in their first, and pretty much every, encounter.
