I'm just gonna be a 🤓 real quick and ruin the meme; tbf, PPP probably reached S-Class after a long line of victories against decently strong Monster's, presumably many Tiger's and a few Demon's. It's suggested that most Heroes don't instantly reach a higher class, let alone S-Class, unless they perform an impressive feat that warrants such a jump. C-Class is the starting point for anyone that doesn't get in via a feat but rather the exam. Most likely, even Genos would've been C-Class if he had nothing but the exam going for him, just higher in it than Saitama. Though Saitama should still be S-Class anyways given his feats and PPP shouldn't be called a Hero, HA is still dumb.
 
The reason why they needed a lot of time is because there wasn't an S-Class at the time. When S-Class was established, most heroes (I think Metal Bat is an exception, but even that may be a retcon unless they're exclusively referring to the exam) who could take down Demons did become S-Class.

Genos did have nothing but the exam going for him. Saitama lost out because he was a dumbshit who didn't get enough points.

The fact is, we don't even know when he became a hero or a registered offender, only that he was imprisoned after becoming a hero.

Genos got pulled into an office with HA staff, verified that he destroyed a gigantic portion of a mountain, as well as the House of Evolution, which they already suspected, and in acknowledgement of his power they immediately granted him S-Class. He didn't just take the exam and then go to S-Class because of it.

"Hero" it's just a name, the actual correct term for the S Class would be "extremely powerful individuals that have chosen to side with humanity in the battle against monsters".

Sekingar said that the HA doesn't even do proper background checks for the S-Class. For example, Child Emperor doing personal research was the one that found out that Genos used to live in a now wiped out village.

Hell the HA itself is terrible, they participate in monster trafficking and even human trafficking with them willing to sell Psykos after deeming her a monster making her lose all her rights. And whatever other ****** up stuff they are doing if what Phoenix Man told Child Emperor is true.

I think they mean it sets a bad precedent, that anything that gets frequently discussed can be topic banned.

It happened, so it counts. However, it's definitely not as impressive as half of Tatsumaki's other feats.

So far the anime has 3 different instances of being different from the manga
Boros being planet level, geryuganshoop’s thing, and tatsumaki summoning a meteor.
The moment we see the cosmic Garou chapter in anime form, is probably the deciding moment of if the anime and manga will be the same or not

It would be really nice if that is actually a revived Boros that blast saved and modified. Imagine the interactions he could have with saitama later on, as the only opponent outside of Garou he actually respected.

We would also have a 4-A boros and we could settle the most toxic debate in this thread.

Chances are low tho.
