Since when Zolomon was considered a matchup for Pucci? This is like the 1st or 2nd time I heard of that MU. Is it like a popular MU on r/dbm or something? I haven't been there since they banned me so I. Is Pucci vs Zolomon even a good MU? Some DB fans tend to overhype crappy matchups with pointless filler connections.

me and some smart guy talked about how weak DB promotion been as of the last two seasons.

like where's the hype and promotion for the upcoming that supposed to have the strongest lineup in the shows history?

Yeah, it got pretty popular on r/dbm.
After the death of their family members (Hunter's parents and Pucci's step-sister) along with a series of unfortunate events, these two morally questionable individuals who yearn for a sense of understanding of the world and people around them decided to vow their loyalty to a manipulative yellow clad villain (Eobard Thawne and DIO) in being the next in line to take down a familial group of people with shared powers (The Flash Family and Joestar Bloodline) and obtain a new, similar power from a special item (Hunter getting access to his time acceleration ability after blowing up the Cosmic Treadmill and Pucci obtaining White Snake after being pierced by the Stand Arrow). They would later evolve their ability, which gives them unimaginable prowess over reality that would cause a distortion over their respective universes (Hunter gaining access to the Speed, Sage, and Strength Forces and Pucci obtaining MiH to accelerate time and reset the Universe). Cunning and manipulative, and growing a bigger sense of immorality, they have orchestrated the events upon the next gen protagonists to cause further turmoil against them (Wally and Jolyne) while achieving their own goals in the process.

Also, were you that one guy on r/dbm that complained about cartoons or it was the other guy?

C-Moon is achieved only if you make him say some words to the green baby, which means you need enough time from the opponent to fill that, then your super has to get Pucci slowly fly till it gets high enough to get made in heaven

To even get these, you need the opponent not interrupt you or be very close

Well, DB is on seasonal break, thats why no advertising.

Tho they havent done a lot of it on most of season beginnings. Maybe on March they can do more than Twitter posts.

This season supposedly has the strongest lineup period but where's the promotion for it?

where's the hunger for it?

C-Moon is in a similiar case, the gravity would've been a pretty good thing in animation... If only Sakuya wasn't able to fly, so C-Moon is essentially reduced here to a stand that just can punch and once again it doesn't really have anything to bounce off of Sakuya
MIH is also pretty bad here, sure, knife fighting would be cool but it wouldn't really go beyond that, MIH's basical fighting style is that it basically blitzes and slashes its enemy and this style of fighting really doesn't match Sakuya, it will be just Sakuya throwing knives, Pucci dodging the knives, Pucci trying to get close to Sakuya and Sakuya evading Pucci and then it continues for over 4 hours until Sakuya remembers she can use snail time.

C-Moon needs green baby to fuse, can just say he obtains it before the fight, MiH is needing a good position which needed the new moon, which cant be hard to achieve, especially if we go by the game way of doing it

Also Whitesnake has more then just discs, he has illusions like done after the weather report fight, as well as the acid

C-Moon has more then gravity going normally, you forget what happens when he hits you? Turns your inside out, also Pucci can use it to avoid a hit like he done vs Anasui

Hope you remember how time stop worked out vs jotaro, which needed anasui to give a signal to catch him physically and strike, cuz attacking as he comes still had him avoid Star Platinum, so her time stop alone isnt gonna do much, she needs to know where he is and get him in her grasp, the environment could play into the fight since MiH affects the surroundings

I feel that that would only apply to the anime/manga depictions of Pucci. Sure, Eyes of heaven and All star battle are different canons but he can switch stands in those games.

And I feel that we should use that just because of the "Rule of cool"

The matchup then becomes more entertaining animation-wise. You could do something like Sakuya going to try to stop Pucci since she is an incident solver and have her be the heroin of the story.

You could start everything with Sakuya being trapped by Whitesnake's trippy illusions while he is trying to accomplish his plans. Once Sakuya breaks out of the illusion you could have Pucci give stand disks to random people to buy time or have him have bought enough time during the illusion to activate C-Moon.

While Sakuya can fly and it would diminish a lot of the animation potential from C-Moon's gravity manipulation. You could work your way around that by making it so that Sakuya has to dodge buildings, cars, and other objects that are falling toward her while she saves people. It could still work.

And since Sakuya seems to be the only opponent of Pucci that has the ability to slow down time, you could have Pucci accelerate time with the cool-ass time acceleration effects but then Sakuya starts reverting everything to normal with her snail time which confuses Pucci and yari-yara. You could have them have a battle between their abilities where Pucci uses more of his time acceleration to accelerate everything while Sakuya slows everything down. Time accelerates and slows down depending on who is having the edge in the fight animation. Then time accelerates or returns to normal once the winner wins.

Though I admit that this MU becomes way worse animation-wise if we stick to anime/manga Pucci. That's why I would prefer if they used the videogame version of Pucci.

Yeah, but the thing is Jotaro's time stop has a limit, Pucci's time acceleration basically accelerated the time in Jotaro's time stop (God, I already hate how this ******* sounds) which was problematic for Jotaro, Sakuya doesn't have a time limit and what makes things even worse is Snail Time, the ability to slow down time, basically a direct counter to MIH

I guess VG Pucci makes things better but when people talk about this MU they usually reffer to canon Pucci

I knew it got popular because of r/dbm. It's such an r/dbm tier (Garbage) matchup. It sounds a lot like someone trying to make both of them seem more similar than they are.

How do you think Colex will start? My guess is that the Blacklight infected start invading Empire City, Cole arrives and kills a couple infected, then spots Alex and assume he is the main source. Cole leaps towards Alex and that's how they duke it out.

Yeah I’ve literally never seen it suggested. The Undertale vs Touhou MU that got around much was just Asriel vs Marisa iirc. SMT heavily influenced Touhou in its earlier years, a lot of things within PC-98 are nearly exactly ripped from SMT, look at Alice Margatroid’s design compared to Alice from SMTs, the similarities are blatant.

a lot of people call Touhou ZUN’s Megami Tensei x Kiki Kaikai fanfiction for a reason.

I imagine they can’t really promote anything without much to show. They’ve already revealed 3 whole MUs this season, there’s not much else that can be done until right before the season hits where they can actually start doing reveals.

I haven't heard a lot about SMT inspiring PC-98. I would like to know more about it.

I saw SMT Alice's design and it doesn't look like any version of Alice. Touhou Alice looks more like Alice in wonderland Alice than SMT Alice.
