Don't let him appear on the show ever again, he already had his best MU and we don't need to see him again nor do we need seeing another GvS rematch
I think GvS3 happening is a fine situation. If only because GvS2 was a ******* massive fumble and GvS1 is literally a season 1 episode that has aged only marginally better than any other.

While most people actually in Versus spheres dont actually care about this MU much anymore, it's still a massive pop cultural debate and is still relatively commonly seen. Them doing a final look on the subject with their proper updated research on the characters proper is something I would be fine with, honestly.

I just want an OST that's actually true to the characters of Goku and Superman, something along the lines of Mighty.

Tho i will say

i rather DB Do Goku vs someone else before running him back for Superman
Thats the thing, who would he fight? No one seems to agree on who he should
That's the issue indeed
I prefer Jin Mori it would bring in a new series,Fun animation potential and it's a Goku W
I know a lot of ppl want him to fight Seiya.

DBE Goku vs DCEU Superman is a separate thing right
Hey, what do you guys think of Radiant Black vs Guyver I?
(Star Fox echo) Good luck
watch the finale be Ash vs Yugi
Or Ash Ketchum vs Lucy Heartfilia - seriously this is a more debatable one instead of "lol Yugi hax stomp GG" - and Fairy Tail needs more representatives anyway.

Yugi Muto vs Aichi Sendou and Judai Yuki vs Davis Motomiya or Ben 10 (and more) are there so Yu-gi-oh always have moments to shine.

If Swan thought on Reddit that Uni DMC is bunk, Kratos vs Dante is a contender for finale, as Ragnarök isnt "needed". And funny enough, Goku vs Seiya is another I still feel like, they did mention wanting to bring back Goku.

Anyways, I finally watched the episode. The preview had me incredibly worried so I went into this matchup with low expectations. Coming out of it.... (massive fuckoff wall of text incoming)

Holy shit, that preview didn't sell how good the fight was gonna be. It picked up so, so much more almost right after the fight started. To start, despite how.... frankly kinda shit the animation looked for the fight opening, it's a very, very solid setup. Both characters were on point and it sets a good atmosphere, probably the 2nd best fight setup this season, obviously behind OmniLander. Also to get it out of the way, yeah, Bond's model looks like shit, was the PS3 game the only model they had to choose from? Surely there was something else... I think the Wick model looks fine enough. The environment itself is perfectly fine though.

Otherwise, the rest of the fight? Awesome shit. The variety of weapons that Bond utilized was good and kept the fight interesting, (the pen joke carrying into the fight itself turned what was kind of a mildly overbearing joke in the analysis into a joke with actually really good payoff with good integration into the fight, I'll give them that), and they played well into the fight's structure by forcing Wick to play around and adapt to the way the inventions played into the fight on the fly. That hand to hand section between them leading into that knife fight bit might be my favorite bit of choreography out of the entire season. The car eventually losing control and spinning around firing off bullets allowed for incredibly creative use of the environment and working around the choreo itself. The Blender team seems to have finally gotten h2h combat down well, this is some of the best h2h on the show since Torrian's departure.

I'm also glad they didn't undersell Wick at any point. He ****** Bond up pretty bad in the fight and gave Wick a lot of benefits. Glad they didn't treat it like it's a complete stomp match when he had some things in his favor (wish they would've at least credited his shotgun being able to one shot Bond though). He fought and scrounged until the end and then some more, befitting of Wick.

The analysis was also damn incredible, another excellent one this season, the most fun I've had with an analysis since HercKong. Very good compilation of both characters stories, an indepth look at their abilities, weaponry, and surprisingly indepth looks at their fighting styles, which I appreciated. No calcs either which is a nice change of pace, considering this matchup really isn't one predicated on calcs lol. Both characters got lots of respect, love, and it generally went way more in depth on a lot of things than I expected. I do really think Bond should not have been given anything from the games. It's kind of excessive lol. I don't think they even gave Wick anything from Hex or Chronicles either? I still maintain Daniel Craig Bond vs Wick would've been better, but for what we got, this was an excellent analysis.

The battle track is also damn good. While yeah, my main complaint of wishing the track represented Wick a bit more, such as being a more techno oriented track that bursts into Bond's grandeur and sampled his jazz and orchestra bombast often would've been a better rep of the two imo, but in terms of the fight itself, this track fits very well and fits the intense hand to hand moments and the insanity of the car setpiece and everything quite well. Fits the events of the fight itself more than both the characters along imo.

For a fight I was initially really really afraid for, and even though my preferred character took the L, I can say this is my favorite fight all season so far, even with it's flaws. I hope something else can top it though, as this season hasn't really been doing it for me so far. (I do hope my preferred character wins EVENTUALLY this season, though. Raiden and Wick both taking the L's back to back is ******* crucial.)

I have nothing to say about the next MU. I already knew what it was going to be and I'm not really excited. I just hope its fun at least.

On one hand, people believe that opinions on Reddit is unreliable at best.
On the other hand, Liam Swan, a well-respected researcher and writer of Death Battle, somehow wrote on Reddit he thought believe that Uni DMC is bunk (with supporting from the bunk G1 bloggers blog which VBW have "debunked" against) when there are multiple sources saying that Dante is at least universe level, likely 5-D, possibly 9-D; and that the G1 bloggers "debunk" blog is the bunk blog one should stay away from.

It's possible they could buy Uni DMC, Swan is so far the only one we know about who disagrees.

We absolutely will not get higher dimensional stuff though. Not that its really needed for this MU. Not to mention I think the 9D stuff is kind of shaky too, DMC being 1C is a bit questionable based on what I hear, though L1C is arguable.

Lighspeed Bond technically being a thing sucks, I'm not gonna look at this ep too fondly.
We have had GDMF Predator and even Leon Scott Kennedy of all people being laser dodging. We have had Marvel and DC street characters being light dodging. Still James Bond being light dodging is too much. Still, James Bond has so many other advantages (and stat trio is close between them ironically)

Bond winning isnt issue, but the way they represent Bond is.

And unironic lightspeed being a thing for this many franchises also sucks if all they dodge is basically bullet-styled projectiles. DB is really getting worse in analysis & verdict quality which sucks. I know a lot of people have already given up on DB as informative series, so I hate to see this happen.

I mean, even back when we have Samurai Jack vs Afro Samurai and Danny Phantom vs Jake Long, we still have them examine the projectile properties to check if they are legit lasers. They are getting lazier sure and more too lenient on calling off "infinite sized" universes now than before.
Not that it "give a shit" to have James Bond win but still.

The H2H combat improvement gives me hope that Kiryu can actually get a good showing.
In all likelihood, they’ll probably pick Wei Shen to be his opponent. They’d have to commission a 3D model for Shizuo, as opposed to just ripping Shen’s model from Sleeping Dogs. Kiryu vs Wei Shen also seems to be a fairly popular MU within the Yakuza fandom.

It seems that Death Battle buys game feats and abilities of James Bond, then it seems that Su Shiu-Yuan may even have equipment advantage over Damian Wayne and the advantage is mainly from a role-playing game featuring Su Shiu-Yuan. Another good day to see DC L.

I heard that Wei Shen has opponent with better connection.

What does this has to do with anything I've said? Are like implying Seiya stomps him or what?
Seiya will stomp Shazam if Seiya actually steps into n-D...

... And neither Shazam nor Black Adam scale from Spectre.

Anyway it sounds interesting to see how Death Battle views the Saint Seiya verse. That I remember claims are there Hades (Saint Seiya) AP stomps (and hax stomps) Beerus in one Community Death Battle.

Anyone find it funny that Super Anime Goku vs GT Goku is actually interesting enough? I am looping this again.

While we are waiting for the real release of James Bond vs John Wick (and also waiting for when Brandon Yates' Volume 5 and Therewolf Media's Volume 2), I stared into the banner of the Twitter page and...

Wonder if Hisui and Kohaku (Nasuverse) vs Rem and Ram (Re:Zero) will be good enough as a versus matchup or even a Death Battle episode.

idk
in the community n shit folks view IDW MLP around Multi
Yeah that's nothing new quite a few people across the community rank IDW versions of popular characters very highly for some reason with IDW MLP and IDW Transformers being Multi and IDW Godzilla being Outer (I'm legit not joking).

By that logic IDW Sonic should surpass Archie Sonic in terms of power, in just a few years time.

Well, someone tried that infinite space machine Eggman thing to scale for IDW Super Sonic year or 2 ago :V
Funny enough if there's one Sonic character that IDW benefited the most in terms of P&A it's Dr.Eggman.

He has created:
*An infinite 4D construct just to test run his badniks.
*A self-deprecating biomechanical virus that not even Shadow is immune to.
*An "improved" version of Neo Metal Sonic.
*A new type of badnik that's made of wood, has freewill and is self-aware named Belle (back when Eggman was Mr.Tinker).
*A huge machine city filled with armies of badniks where he has access to all his past mechs such as the Egg Emperor.
