We want what happened in the webcomic. A more natural transition of character for Garou. In the webcomic, Garou took more time to reflect before atoning by contributing to society in his own way. Then when Suiryu came to bring him in, Garou fought only to defend himself while still being rather solemn and self-loathing. Here Garou just suddenly goes from a genuinely hurting young man trying to change the flawed world to an overly edgy teenager who was acting out and needed his mentor Bang to discipline him. And he’s not really paying for his crimes either. He gets to be supervised by Bang and regularly spar with his mentor, something Garou enjoys doing. So how is that really any punishment? And it’s not like he’s trying to make up for what he did either. He’s not going to any of the heroes he beat up before and apologizing to any of them, because he still doesn’t feel genuinely remorseful for any of what he did, cuz apparently he’s an emo teenager now.

And when the hell did Garou suddenly gain this new respect for Bang? What’s worse is that it happens in the span of a single chapter, not laid out in multiple chapters. It’s like the ending of AOT, where Eren’s turned into a crying little ***** who’s excused by all his friends and treated like a hero by his friends for genociding the population. Garou didn’t commit the same heinous crimes, but he was still very brutal during his hero hunt. That’s what everybody’s pissed about.

I mean it's pretty obvious that Garou being accepted as a hero will be the catalyst for a lot of the hunted joining the Neo Heroes in the future
 
Anyways who’s gonna be the next big bad? As far as I’m aware there’s no next big bad in the webcomic yet, and I doubt that Saitama is gonna really go at it with the mad cyborg unless it takes god’s power

Read the webcomic again, literally nobody counters what Garou says there, Saitama just leaves him shocked and without a will to live after saying that "it's just a hobby lmao xd"

No, Garou's only left shocked and without a will to live when Saitama reveals his true inner turmoil and desire of being a hero. When Garou realizes that Saitama's right, it makes him feel as his whole ideology and everything he fought for becomes meaningless, which is why he accepts death until Tareo makes him regain his will to live.

Wasn't the point Saitama made was that Garou wanted to be a Hero and not a Villain (which is why Saitama's answer pissed him off) but decided being a Villain was easier?

For side-characters? Maybe the Ninja Village Leader or Psykos. For Saitama? Maybe we can get a fight which doesn't end with a punch with that Dragon he summoned and one-shotted in the WC.

Otherwise, we should end to the mad cyborg or see if Zombieman looking for God's information makes him a God puppet I prefer him trying to break his limiter at the WC tbh

Tbh, The Organization in WC confuses me: are they good, or bad people? From what they've done to MB, they seem to be bad people, but after Blue came in and solved the "missunderstanding", I thought for a moment they weren't bad, or, at least Blue, the LEADER/the one with the most power, who must know every thing that happens therw isn't.

That cyborg girl model seems kinda suspicious to me, too. But... idrk. I supose I should wait to Murata ending the arc, which most likely will happen sooner than ONE doing so lmao

My thoughts exactly, Garou's arc ended okay for his OG self but this current one feels completely hollow, it's as if Saitama's punch nuked the serious part of Garou's arc and added a bit of respect for Bang, Plot and Empathic Manipulation 💀

That would certainly help, at least for me

It doesn't fix Garou's arc, but at least shows that the world (And One) is aware of how much bs is Garou being free and the Neo Heroes unites both in-world people and the reader to kinda be against the HA for their mistakes

Ngl...it feels weird knowing Tatsumaki could have soloed Orochi on her own with basically no trouble


Especially considering they went out of their way for Saitama to fight him

And even use a "serious move" to counter Orochi final attack like he did with Boros ( makes sense given they both Dragon+ threats )


But then we see Tatsumaki curb stomping Psykos Orochi like she nothing and it shows she could have crunched Orochi with two fingers....


I can't be the only one who found that weird right?

well, since the webcomic tatsumaki is meant to be that strong (even thought she is weaker in wc than in manga, really weaker)
People overestimated Orochi for no reason, basically we all knew that no monster but garou could win tatsumaki in a fair match

I mean, if anything, Saitama saw Orochi as a complete joke and nuked him with the serious squirt gun, the redraw removed Orochi's hype, even giving a good High 6-A isn't enough when the narrative is against it

Even if you wanna argue she has better raw feats than him I argue Boros has better scaling and narrative intent

What with Saitama calling him "strong" on several occasions and even admitting to himself that Boros was "almost a real fight"



I think a full power Tats slams Armored Boros

Who I can scale pretty damn high mind you


But anything above slams her

boros does not have better scaling, tatsumaki is the one who scales massively above 5 exatons, boros is only 9 petatons at best, and 10 exatons using his entire life force with CSRC, which can be tanked by tatsumaki with mid efforts.
also, saitama never fought anyone at tectonic level before, he was definetely surprised by boros and would have the same reaction if he fought tatsumaki at that time.


basically, tatsumaki casually massively scales above something that boros needs to go all out in a suicidal attack to reach.


and using saitama as statement is useless, he is constantly growing in strenght, saitama from the future is strong enough to one shot saitama from 10 seconds ago.

We both know narratively that isn't the case and that ONE would never have Saitama ever struggle with any of the S Class ( bar maybe Blast ) the same way he did with Boros
