just as he can imitate AFOHard disagree. He already has nuclear fission, and he can just steal or mimic Decay regardless.
I don’t know how to copy specific thread links, but someone here is trying to arguing against me that Genos is > Tatsumaki.
Or with One for AllZombieman with Compress would be interesting.
Compress /seemingly/ ignores durability and can take chunks out of people, similar to Decay, but has other uses too like trapping people or objects.
The statement, or the ability in general? It's only in the webcomic.
The statement. Its after Tatsumaki is slapped around by the Cadres, they mention she set up an unconscious barrier. The statement, or the ability in general?![]()

Genos struggles and needs to make his attack spiral-like to even match one Psykorochi beam
Tatsumaki easily stops and deviates a beam (most likely a stronger one)
Baki still winsOh yeah. I’m perma-banned from the Baki subreddit because someone made a Deku vs Yujiro thread, and I said Deku wouldn’t get stomped.![]()
Bakiverse loses to Casual Deku.Baki still wins![]()
Hold on let me get my speed equalized hammer.Bakiverse loses to Casual Deku.![]()
Baki and Yujiro scale above Mach 78 and they are always at those level of speeds. Deku needs to stack power ups in order to get to Mach 100. Even if deku was at those speeds all the time Yujiro would just his superior prediction skills, instinctive reaction and 0.5 unconscious to make sure that deku would never hit him.Exactly. It isn’t. Deku dekufolds the Bakiverse. 👁👁
They’re both in High Hypersonic+, even at Deku at 45%.Baki and Yujiro scale above Mach 78 and they are always at those level of speeds. Deku needs to stack power ups in order to get to Mach 100. ??? I told you the accepted values already. There’s only a 20% speed difference at most. They’re both in High Hypersonic+, even at Deku at 45%.
Deku is MASSIVELY hypersonic with Faux 100%.
Deku blitzes with a mountain level punch.

This is how Genos will be revived guys
This is pretty much how I feel. His concept is a gag, (ie taking a shonen protagonist from the end of their journey and putting them at the start of the series), but One's writing has furthered him beyond simply being a gag character. Sure he can be funny, but he has his own wants, flaws, and struggles which the story isn't afraid to address. He's easily bored, but is so set on needing a real fight, to the point where he doesn't look for anything else, (friends, games, ect), thereby passively allowing his own suffering. He's also quick to frustration with people who talk too much, and generally isn't a very social dude.Saitama is a gag character, but he isn't a conventional one. That's the thing most people don't realize.
He's clearly a gag character to some extent, as demonstrated by him being largely comedic relief, several of his feats meaning to be gags, and even outright said by ONE in an interview, but people who compare him to characters like Arale, or god forbid Bugs Bunny, have no idea what Saitama is or what he represents. He's a gag character who parodies typical Shonen protagonists by being the strongest character from chapter/episode 1, rather than growing throughout the series and needing to endure severe obstacles on that path. And being a gag character doesn't make him automatically invincible, nor takes away any potential depth to the character. He has a whole character arc, motive, personality spectrum, interactions and relationships with other characters, and even the main joke is not consistent. The people who think the core of Saitama is "one punch xd" and that there is nothing more in there really misinterpreted virtually everything about him.
The last couple chapters aren't even needed for my point, but they alone prove why Saitama isn't such a flat, one-dimensional character as people like to say. Tbh it's kind of an insult to ONE, who wrote an actually pretty unique main character.
Love that scene in the Baki anime where Baki goes "it's Bakin' time" and beats Yujiro, Yuchiro, CFMG, Saitama, Deku, All Might, Naruto, Mastered UI Goku, Beerus, Vegeta, Brolly, and all of not just anime, but fiction in its entirty.Yujiro ogres all over him
