STRONGEST One-Punch Man Discussion Thread!

Fubuki: When I saw my sister’s face at that moment, looking very grim and stern, I knew to not go against her. I could tell she was not lying. If there was a ghost or a being that would surpass even her psychic abilities, then it would definitely be a Dragon Level threat or more. Z City, a place full of rumors of strange and powerful monsters…it wouldn’t be a stretch to say something like that could exist there. That’s what I thought. Yes, that is my summer festival memory with my sister.
 
Does anyone else think that the first key of Saitama is completely meaningless? It is like someone made it out of spite
 
From the sounds of it, Saitama resisted a significant portion of her power. Assuming everything else is clear could do a "at least low 7-B, likely High 6-A"?

Saitama could easily resist Tatsumaki's psychic powers. and possibly faster than Boros He was not inferior to Boros at all.

Oh. I forgot that Boros has upgraded the CSRC to 11.66 Exatons of TNT

At least [whatever tier], likely High 6-A should work if it’s not directly stated that he surpassed her full power.

Do you recall the logic that was used to reject it? I personally think it's weird that we only have record of in-training Saitama when he was a tiger-low demon, the audiobook doesn't seem to be contradicting any scaling by filling in the gap between God level and low demon

Hmm, if that was the logic I would say...

1. Tatsumaki specifically says "do you really think anything can surpass MY psychic powers", as if she used enough of her power against the ghost to come to the conclusion that the ghost was either A) a being powerful that it could actually surpass her psychic powers B) a being to whom the rules don't apply (a ghost). Clearly Saitama's strong enough to at least worry her in a way that nothing else has before.


2. We technically can't use the willpower logic anymore since it'd be webcomic cross-scaling, we don't get the same statement in the manga iirc, in fact Gyoro Gyoro couldn't even fathom how Garou could resist TK.

I think it should be removed. It is the equivalent of 15 year old Genos or Homeless Emperor before gaining his powers.

He literally has a feat that other characters get their scaling from. This might be hard to believe, but having a low tier doesn’t mean it was made because “Saitama weak lol”

And that matters because…? They’re still scaling off of Saitama, which means his first key has a reason to exist.

That happened in the Resurrection F, which was later retconned by the Golden Freeza arc in the anime, where Goku was shot in base form while off-guard so…

Also that just means the laser also solos verses

CSRC is not scaled to boros, i mean, he does not have 11 exatons in every single attack.
tatsumaki scales ALOT above 5 exatons CASUALLY, so saitama resisting tatsumaki's powers already makes training saitama stronger than boros
 
meteoric buster hardly scales above orochi's gaia cannon, meanwhile tatsumaki is easily stronger than orochi, training saitama is easily top 3
