Doctor Strange can see souls in the MCU. He saw the ancient one and turn into his soul mode to join her in her last moments. Strange not been able to see Uryu is not a problem, and is not even a thing. Uryu is a living Quincy, he is not a dead Quincy or a soul.

Strange can’t really transmute Uryu’s attacks, unless I missed him transmuting a soul before, and everything gets dodged with Hirenkyaku.

None of that means he can transmute souls. He has spells that do specific things which means that as long as he can use magic, said spells will do what it says on the tin. None of them say he can transmute souls.

How does that dodge everything?

I said he hasn't been shown to transmute a soul but thats because he's never gotten the chance. The reason it isn't random headcanon that it can work on souls imo is because DR strange and other sorcerers can fight in astral form (their soul form) and still use all their techniques and effect eachother

Strange had a hth fight with that one goon in the hospital during DS1 but that guy only used hth and not the hyper consistently used glass sword things that they always use first thing. Anyone got a scan of combat spells affecting souls besides the soul rip?

Uryu is alive. He is a human. He never died in the series. Uryu is only a soul when he goes to Soul Society. His human body is converted from Kishi to Reishi by Urahara. If the battlefield in this OP isn’t SS or HM Uryu is NOT a soul. That would-be fanfiction wank.

I'm not debating you AppleLord since you're one of the biggest stonewalls on this wiki but i'm telling you that while in his High 6-A he's a soul, all of his feats while in the TYBW Arc he was a soul, when he gained the Antithesis he was a soul.

He's a soul and even discounting my previous argument, SB goes by the "Strongest Canon Version" of the character, which would be the soul form of Uryu since he would posses more abilities compared to his non-soul form self.

Note that the above ignores the point Kid and I were arguing about as it was never in question whether Strange could interact with Uryu since he is physical anyway but whether his hax would affect Uryu’s attacks which are made of souls.

You are missing the fact that whether he is a soul is completely irrelevant as Strange can see and hit him either way.

Strange being a soul doesn’t randomly make soul hax useless lol. If anything it’s even more useful as it’s directly exposing the soul to the soul hax.

… you don’t actually read the posts you respond to, do you? Uryu just had his reishi converted to kishi sometime after arriving back in the WotL. The guy left through an SS Senkaimon and not one from Kisuke which has an inbuilt matter converter so you would have to prove that he was kishi when he fell out of the sky onto Kisuke’s carpet with the rest of the Ryoka.

What does this matter? Uryu in High 6-A is Reishi, and as such would be treated as Reishi here. We havent seen a High 6-A kishi Uryu. I didn’t make a match with an Uryu we haven’t seen in the series nor has a key.
