Going to be honest, this chapter was possibly the most disappointing thing yet just going off the visuals.
Hate to be that guy but, man this just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Garou looks silly as hell. And the fight progressed too fast.

It's funny because that's actually the exact same feat the databoom gave to Saitama and Boros, that their clashes were shaking the Earth.
But on topic Boros word for word says he can only surface wipe, but I will say the databook has other translations. Now I firmly believe it means figuratively destroy, but by the same notion people with vastly better Japanese knowledge than I do use the more direct "Will destroy the Earth" version.
Overall I guess a possib 5-B isn't unwarranted but I'm against a solid 5-B raring for the CSRC.

I actually agree, fight feels pretty rushed and there's barely any sense of epicness or hype the webcomic fight had, even if the feats are better. Garou also seems a bit dumber and less skilled (destroyed his hand on Saitama's head by sheer stubborness).

I am highly supportive of the series and its creative choices, but just off of visuals, I'm slightly concerned. They had Garou dodge a punch, but with none of the analytical dialogue. I feel like the accidently submitted the next chapter instead of the current one with how it jumps around.

Hate to say it but if the quality of the battle continues as it is then Tats Vs Psykorochi, Garou Vs Darkshine and Saitama Vs Boros >>> Garou Vs Saitama.
I get that the fight just started but compare the start of this fight to the others, especially when Murata hyped us up by saying the scale would be better (I guess he just meant a bigger battleground

You know, maybe one of the core reasons Boros is well remembered is that he was never like, treated as a joke. He was always serious. Garou flip flops a lot and maybe that's my issues with his stuff now.

Garou Vs Flash Vs Platinum stomps this and I remember ur guys reaction to that fight being pure hype, now for the main event it's a very 6/10 reaction and for good reasons, can someone please throw that kid to the Moon so we can see a badass fight between Saitama and a OP Monster ? More chibi-like Garou and that human eye thing still is there making sure to keep the design lame
I really hope it gets better in the next chapters

And Boros is on CRT to maybe lose his High 6-A key, which if happens would knock him to 6-A while Garou is currently 6-A+

That kick from Garou was a better feat than anything Boros has ever done outside of maybe the moon kick. And the moon kick didn’t even leave an explosion the size of an entire city.

That's true, but the Boros fight was much more impressive, the difference between both battles is that in this one Garou is making a fool of himself even though he has a relatively adequate battle for OPM parameters.

So I think Saitama‘s bout with Garou is just a practice bout, the S class jump in and Saitama gets sidelined for a bit again, and they push Garou to evolve even more. Somehow.
