STRONGEST One-Punch Man Discussion Thread!

Not only is she, like, seconds away from being comatose, she’s probably a bit stunned she’s suddenly seeing “Blast” standing right in front of her. She would be a bit shocked at that and probably stutter from that alone.

Tatsumaki is certain in her power and has never doubted it in the manga. I’m not sure why she’d start doubting it now, especially since she’s been asleep for the entire PS, AG and Flashu Flash fight. She ain’t even watching.

That, or she’s just stunned by the stupidity of the question. Normal Tatsumaki could’ve wiped out everyone; if she had more power, of course she could wipe out the rest.

Judging by the addition formula, about a thousand lines were taken into account, but I honestly cannot say how Darth got such a result, given that even my first version already has a large density and number of lines.

I am not talking about the game. When Saitama uses Serious Punch against Boros only air pressure hits him. Since the shockwave was expanding what killed Boros was only a fraction of total power of the punch. I once tried to calculate it and Boros tanked like less than one ninetieth of the shockwave. Boros is low 5-B so Saitama could be around 5-B
 
I’m a bit confused by Black Sperm. If a single “him” made up of 1000 “hims” die by blunt force, like Atomic Samurai using his sword‘s blunt edge, do they die completely without being able to split? I thought that what was being implied.

Boros is Low 5-B via upscaling to a calculation, so it's still calc stacking.

Black Sperm fissions into smaller cells when he's split apart. If AS just slices him or attacks via blunt damage, he doesn't split.

They seem to come up with new ideas as the story progresses and also look at the fan reaction to the old chapters. In principle, redrawing in One Punch Man is an alternative to retcon.


Although it has very rough connections, which are most noticeable with Zombieman, who either fights with crowds of enemies, then rests, then thanks the Emperor for navigation, then in the next chapter he curses him for the same reason.

Although I confess. I was quite upset when I saw the last redraw with Phoenix. Then it begged to say "Look what they did to my boy"
 
There's some I can understand, like not having SW kill that squad, but others just kind of baffle me.

I'm guessing he redrew the Phoenix Man fight so the Ninjas Arc in the webcomic can happen in the future.
 
How is Ninja Arc related to Phoenix Man redraw? In original version they escaped while they were captured in the redraw AFAIK
 
Didn't they only come back in the first redraw, and then there was a second?
 
Oh, I completely forgot that there were 2 redraws. When I said original I meant the first redraw. The one where Saitama calls them pervert

Shouldn’t that be added to his weaknesses, then, on his profile? “If a Black Sperm dies via blunt force, it dies completely without splitting”?
 


Tatsumaki was able to swap places with a rock decoy (most likely grabbed the rocks from the ground while being way up in the air), switch places with it, then get all the way to Bang and Fubuki’s position without anyone being able to see her.

All before the CONFIRMED light dissipated. Tatsumaki lightspeed confirmed /s.

At minimum Relativistic since Bang couldn’t track her.

No wonder they couldn't see it, but more importantly, Bang is only Likely Relativistic+ with Awakening Breath, Base Bang (The one in question here) is Massively Hypersonic

The light only hid her trading places. She still blitzed her way to Bang’s location with no one seeing her until she was already there.

Does Awakening Breath increase reaction time? When was that said??

Even so, Bomb can react to their fight just fine. No issues.

They were, like, 10 steps away and he was giving a play-by-play of their fight. He scales too and he doesn’t have Awakening Breath.
 
Didn't the last chapter show that Garou became faster, stronger after each fight and even whilst fighting? Why are we still scaling Bang to Flash's speed despite it being implied that Blast, Garou, PS, and Saitama are the few individuals who have surpassed his speed. Bang is most likely not among those who can impress Flash with his speed.

Garou fighting Bang is not an outlier. He just wasn't using Awakened Breath, and beat him without that much trouble anyway.

It's not stated that it increases strength or speed either, if you want to go by this logic.

It “draws out the limits of one’s body”, but considering Bomb can watch the fight, it’s not that big a boost to reaction time, if any at all.

They just hit harder and MAY be faster. They can operate at 100% for longer times.

”Reacting to something isn’t reaction time”?

Bomb didn’t react to the last attack because he was going all out for that final attack, and was stunned when Garou completely negated it. He had nothing to fall back on.

Giving Garou's feats against PS I'm inclined to agree here, Bang shouldn't scale, but for now he does and we'll need a CRT to change that

You can literally see Bang not having a good vision of the situation because of the light, using the fact that he couldn't react while part of his vision is blocked makes no sense, and yes, Awakening Breath increases his Reaction time, we don't need statements for that if the feats/scaling are there. He fought the Sleeping Garou that was already likely Relativistic+ while using Awakening Breath, so he scales
 
I said actively reacting, as in 'what says he could intercept a blow from him?'

Not just seeing them fight.

People can see a single frame in a video moving at 30 fps, but can they move away from a punch in that timeframe?
 
Bomb could also react to the same Bang and Garou, so clearly Awakening Breath doesn’t increase reaction time unless BASE BOMB is on the level of Awakening Breath Bang.

Awakening Breath just allows them to hit at 100% for a short duration.
