I want Metal Bat to have a comeback from not doing anything since he fought Garou by showing how vast his potential is and taking on one of the remaining threats solo. I don't think he should win, but if he put up a good fight against Sage Centipede or Garou, that'd be amazing by itself. But it probably won't happen.

For the same reason why we don't rely so much on old author quotes and characters have been reinterpreted.
By the way, did ONE make the audiobook himself?
The audiobooks aren't even remotely comparable to author quotes (they're not even author quotes, btw, just quotes from Murata), and they were supervised by ONE.

We'll stop using them when they're contradicted.
Is the audiobook still relevant, given how much has been revised over the years?
And overall I don't think Gouketsu is superior to Asura in Berserk mode in brute force.
It's not based on the audiobook. Genos says he's above any foe he's ever encountered in the manga, and we know from this audio that his own data places that form on par with Darkshine.
If the power of the blade was not enough for the sphere, then it would fall apart after 1 hit. I repeat - multiple attacks and cutting into small pieces is the business card of AS. And this cannot be used as an argument for downgrade.

By the way, AS apparently had to put more effort into cutting GS's arm, which makes the second one taller, while PS is much stronger and should scale to 6-C or probably 6-C
No it would not. Energy density is a thing. One tiny portion of the orb does not scale to its total mass exploding.

Homeless Emperor's orbs aren't shown to be like DB orbs where their durability is about comparable to their power (or at least most of the time in DB), they're only shown to explode or fizzle out upon contact.

I personally would want MB to just have a normal consistency of growing stronger then stronger, gets absolutely pummeled. Then he pulls the swing he did on garou that his sister interrupted out of nowhere, but this time he does a that swing on SC and bats his head away all the way to where EOW is causing a massive explosion.
my dreams do be wild tho...

To be fair, Genos was overestimating Gouketsu like, too much, that he put him above Saitama + he never fight (or exactly see? Since he was fainted iirc) Asura mode Kabuto. But yeah Gouketsu is still above him IMO

Not really. The best Genos has seen is the meteor (with Genos himself confirming only the majority of the energy was nullified), and only said Gouketsu's strength reminded him a little of Saitama. His recommended course of action was to have Saitama fight him with multiple heroes because it'd be the safest option possible, not because Saitama would lose otherwise.

Genos was awake.

Genos was awake, and just said any foe he'd encountered. Not fought.
It is not a recommendation, and it is not him calculating the safest option possible either. He literally said that Gouketsu was unbeatable without the combination of Saitama and the group of S-class heroes. Kind of, it's Genos being Genos.

Actually speaking of waganma. Just noticed when he hit the ceiling the ceiling cracked around it. This should be more justification that opm humans are superior to regular humans.

I need to ask some very specific questions.
1) In the scene of elder centipede coming out of the ground. Isn't that in slow-mo? Like in the manga we even see Genos' blast mid-air. If it isn't, then wouldn't that make them slow, as they could only cover a few hundred meters in like 2 seconds?
2) Could Phoenix man have dodged Genos' spiral Incineration Canon or would he have become fried chicken? I am asking this otherwise why would EC interrupt the beam?
3) Can someone tell how many lines there were in the first light structure created by the trio?

Can someone ask Darth the specific number?
I have found the average percentage of stones in relation to the lines for the first structure. The result is 22%. If I can know the number of lines, then we can get a good estimate of the number of rocks that Garou sent flying.
