Looking at that blog, they're actually stated to be light. However, they also bend without water in many instances (I'm not saying this doesn't mean it's SOL, just that it has elements of both).

Like I said, though, I don't really have an opinion here. Just as long as we're not using "mysterious light energy" from Homeless Emperor as justification.

Laser is a very commonly thrown around word in fiction. Anything that looks like an energy projection attack has tendency to be called lasers. Plus, this only follows one of the requirements for it to be truly lightspeed. And Light doesn't bend at all. There isn't enough to prove this moves as fast as an actual laser does. This is pretty much just a regular energy beam.

Plus, even then, it'd be a huge outlier considering most of their speed feats in this category don't even exceed MHS+. And the narrative itself only has god tiers at like Relativistic to FTL levels. And when stuff near that category is deemed as very impressive. It's not even consistent.

I am not saying that Snail is MHS+. I am saying peak Demons can possibly be MHS+. That snail was moving around 108000 times faster than a normal snail. So it shouldn't be far fetched to say peak demons move 108000 times faster than normal peak humans.

But what makes you say demons perceive the snail as slow as humans do? And what makes you say it's that much faster than a regulkar snail. Being bigger doesn't make it that much faster

Even in real life light naturally bends(but very slightly) With OPM technology it doesn't seem to be impossible

It's referred to as light and behaves like light when it disperses due to the steam.

Being referred to as light is not a valid way to scale it to LS. And as for the latter, Maybe so. But again, It's contradicted by it bending.

Where does Iaian being 113 times faster come from? Are you using the manga. We don't cross scale.

That depends on how strong Genos gets. Assuming he gets 3 times stronger with each upgrade, 3^6 × 133 = 96957. That's close to 108000. But that can't be used because of several reasons

The snail is a very slow demon, several A-Class can outrun it, the demons are faster than the A-Class. So therefore it means that Demons view the Snail as how a human views a snail in speed.
