That's because their abilities work differently.

Silver Samurai uses a tachion-empowered sword, which basically gives him a huge AP that allows him to cut through virtually anything but adamantium, due to its incredible durability.

Raiden's sword is different, it doesn't focus on ap, it targets the atom of what it hits, causing them to disrupt and separate, bypassing their durability.
And adamantium has been destroyed in-verse by antartic vibranium, which has similar vibration properties to Raiden's sword, but on a more limited level (vibranium disrupts molecules, Raiden disrupts atoms).
Slight correction but pretty sure Silver Samurai's superpower is to empower anything he holds with tachion. The Katana is just his go to weapon of choice.

Lets talk about the matches that have almost no consequences (Not including the ones that are canonically simulations):
  1. Goku vs Superman: The events were basically undone in Goku vs Superman 2 and there's no real grudge between Goku and Superman by the end of that episode
  2. Mega Man vs Astro Boy: Robot Masters such as Mega Man are (for the most part) incredibly easy to rebuild (Espesially when their parts are in tact) and Astro Boy (at least from what I've seen) is known for misunderstanding situations.
  3. Power Rangers vs Voltron: The rangers have survived the Megazord being destroyed before and the Thunder Zords were probably in production at the time. Figuring out everything was a misunderstanding probably wouldn't be hard after the fact.
  4. Sora vs Pit: Pit gets brought back by Palutena. The fight seems like it was a coliseum match both parties agreed to anyways.
  5. Carnage vs Lucy: Literally nobody in the entire Marvel multiverse is going to miss Carnage.
  6. Ganondorf vs Dracula: Ganondorf will eventually regenerate and Dracula will probably be stopped by a Belmont, which might be much easier with the castle destroyed. It also means this generation's Link has a much easier time.
  7. Red vs Blue: The Reds and Blues are lucky bastards and none of them probably actually died. Espesially Donut.

I mean, Superman may not have a grudge towards Goku, but it didn't prevent him from frying his brain.
