Death Battle Season Eight Discussion Thread (1) (All-time Death Battle Spoilers Alert)

Lets talk about the matches that have almost no consequences (Not including the ones that are canonically simulations):
  1. Goku vs Superman: The events were basically undone in Goku vs Superman 2 and there's no real grudge between Goku and Superman by the end of that episode
  2. Mega Man vs Astro Boy: Robot Masters such as Mega Man are (for the most part) incredibly easy to rebuild (Espesially when their parts are in tact) and Astro Boy (at least from what I've seen) is known for misunderstanding situations.
  3. Power Rangers vs Voltron: The rangers have survived the Megazord being destroyed before and the Thunder Zords were probably in production at the time. Figuring out everything was a misunderstanding probably wouldn't be hard after the fact.
  4. Sora vs Pit: Pit gets brought back by Palutena. The fight seems like it was a coliseum match both parties agreed to anyways.
  5. Carnage vs Lucy: Literally nobody in the entire Marvel multiverse is going to miss Carnage.
  6. Ganondorf vs Dracula: Ganondorf will eventually regenerate and Dracula will probably be stopped by a Belmont, which might be much easier with the castle destroyed. It also means this generation's Link has a much easier time.
  7. Red vs Blue: The Reds and Blues are lucky bastards and none of them probably actually died. Espesially Donut.

Sol vs Ragna fits into this as Ragna's death activates a time reset back to the beginning.
So no harm, no foul in Blazblue or Guilty Gear universe.

Well he probably wouldn’t need to, Discord can also bring people back from the dead like he did to King Sombra. He’d probably do that as a favor to Fluttershy.

Overrated: Goku vs Superman 1. Animation was really jank and dosn't hold up well. Also refusing to use power-scaling for Goku was completely arsenene and deliberately tipped the scales in Superman's favor since he's had way more time to have direct feats.

Underrated: Bane vs Venom. Yeah it was a stomp and Venom's personality was portrayed bad, but the fight was surprisingly good (At least the Youtube version was).

Black Widow vs Widowmaker: Black Window did a big favor for overwatch. Mondata is alive and if it after he died, basically widow wouldn't appear and get in the way in overwatch 2, so Zenyatta is apparently saved.
Or she would be aggressively affected by teammates since she wasted so much time on killing one hero and even then died.

Satsuki for Ryuko death

I think freezing/condensation should be used for her storm instead of KE, which would warrant High 6-B results which is actually consistent with the 22 teraton Shikoutazer that she's above, and they shouldn't have used the Anime which completely veers off canon-wise. Even giving the anime in that case would put her at at 900 teratons, and fairy tail slayers can amp themselves to High 6-A via eating ice which Db seemed to completely ignore, so Gray would just have eaten her ice, amped to her level, and blitzed
