"Uhh here." Lailah splits again, a new body appearing and rapidly putting precautions into place on itself, using curses and On together to create the limits and conditions. Some of them preventing use of some of the more troublesome things Lailah might leave behind in her exodus from the body, and others preventing the body from attacking their territory as agreed, etc.
After its done, the body falls down, as it was mindless and simply on autopilot up until now.

The fireworks show was nearing its end.
It all happened so suddenly. Upon returning from a succesful hunt, he discovered that she had disappeared. There were traces of a scuffle and the kidnappers had left behind plenty of tracks. He started running through the forest at high speeds. The tracks eventually led him onto an open road where he quickly found the kidnappers. There he saw her, still alive. She called out his name with relief. He looked into her brown eyes and nodded.
"Who's that?" "Take him out quickly!" "No witnesses!" "Wait that outfit...!"
It didn't take long for them to attack, but the kidnappers were no match for him. He cut through them as if they straws of grass.
"It's the Demon of Koshi!" "Run fo- Agh!"
The kidnappers had been taken care of swiftly and he was able to embrace her again. As luck would have it, she wasn't severely injured. But then a shiver ran down his spine as a cold sharp edge was held to his throat.
"Unhand the princess, you demon."
"...Call it a hunch."

The 100-mile-radius patch of the earth that's directly facing the moon can hear a muffled, echoed "Caramelldansen" on loop. Thankfully, this patch is in the middle of the south pacific ocean. unfortunately for said ocean, there are several ships and boats ranging from fishing to cargo to military, who just have NO ******* idea what's going on. But, if they look at the moon, they can see its surface rapidly changing color like so.
