Yeah but saying that the planet wasn't destroyed isn't a valid counterargument when even the island wasn't destroyed either.

But I can concede that the Moon in DKC Returns is not the size of the IRL Moon, because in world 7 we see that the Moon is also very small and close.
Seems like Retro Studios downgraded the Moon just in this game so DK could accomplish the feat
