BotW Link downgrades(?)

I absolutely hate the idea of saying Calamity Ganon is being scaled to at least as strong as Ganon's weakest form(Moon Level). He hasn't really shown any feats above Large Building Level.

This is further proven by how his strongest minions die to stuff like this.

"He hasn't shown any feats above Large Building Level."

You do realize that you don't need to show the feats you're scaled to at all time, right? There is like, two High 4-C feats in the franchise, yet we scale a lot of people to it.

I think the game it self says it, basically WOG (or was it the compendium?)

Oh well, Cal should know, he's the resident Zelda person.

Didn't Calamity Ganon have a 5-A feat from moving the moon a while back?

@SASP Just because its something that happens in real life doesnt delegitimize a character makeing it happen under their own power. By that logic, no one who can cause storms or earthquakes would have tiers.

Blood moons in real life arent pulled thousands of kilometers towards earth in seconds and then ejected back out to normal orbit in seconds either.

I know this because i checked when the feat was originally calced, the moon itself was moved a considerable distance.

Ganon doesnt move the moon in BOTW, the Blood Moon is a natural phenomenon that breifly makes him stronger.

>it looks like it grows

You can vividly see it be pulled towards earth when the blood moon starts and when it ends it quite literally flies back out in a second.

I can gurantee this.

What? We clearly see the moon get moved, it's not a natural occurrence.

He has to move it by his own power, a moon moving hundreds to maybe a thousands of kilometers in a few seconds is something that he has to do himself.

How do you cause that? I can't really think of a way to set that forth without just doing it yourself.

Not true, immediately right before and after the moon is clearly pulled towards earth and then pushed away after it's over.

The cycle speed is the same but in the case of the blood moon you can clearly see it get pulled and pushed respectively hundreds of kilometers towards the camera.

Yeah obviously the moon is in constant motion yet we know this is through outside force because about 6 seconds before and after the blood moon it gets pulled forward, not diagonally, and it's the only time it ever happens.

Blood Moons only happen like every 150 years or something along the lines, in BOTW, because of Calamity Ganon's power, it literally happens every couple of days. Keep in mind, Tengu Shredder from 4kids TMNT is 5-A for the same type of feat Calamity Ganon has, so I see no reason not have him be 5-A as well.

Its not even that, you can quite clearly see the moon increase and shrink in size at a rapid rate (like 3x in like 6 seconds).

I pulled my console out just to check, which case I was slightly off on what happened prior to the moon cut scene but was right on the after effect, immediately after the moon fades back to white and rapidly shrinks in the night sky before going back to its usual cycle.

We don't really get enough solid information about the Blood Moon, Zelda implies the Blood Moon is a natural phenomenon that allows Ganons power to reach its peak:

"... Link... Link... Be on your guard. Ganon's power grows...it rises to its peak under the hour of a Blood Moon."

But Hino implies that the Blood Moon is caused by Ganon:

"For 100 years now, every so often when the clock strikes midnight, the sky turns red and a full moon rises..."

Make of that as you will.

It has to be Ganon, we can clearly see the moon grow and shrink in size (pulled and pushed respectively from earth), that's not natural.

Hell I even pulled the game and checked again earlier.

So, have the questions been sufficiently answered? If so, we should probably close this thread.
