Daniel smiled. "I'm not entirely sure. I don't really live in this part of the country, and L.A. wasn't really working for me. So, I kinda just left and was planning on hitting the next town. Though, I guess trying to get there on foot proves I didn't really think things through, I guess."
 
Beerko ffels her new powers. "Nice~!" She also touches her horns which she now has. "Nicer~!" She then takes a swig.
 
Kabu then felt like he was gonna hurl, as his skin got a bit darker. He then grew, his teeth getting sharper, his claws growing longer and gaining more hair. He had entered an older state. He was now Kabus. "Holy frag! Welp, definitely not gonna fit in here now..."
 
Feeling new powa, I then...not do anything about it actually.

After all, we're still in the middle of the ocean, and not much else I could do with what I gained anyway.

...Probably aside from making some experimental railgun thingy, or repeated tele-manoveur, or body-armor for stat-boost, but that is for another time.
 
Things start to happen.

Twist of my body.

Changes at the cellular level.

Mind expands beyond that of ultra computers.

Ok. That was weird. Thought my body is now made out of a unearthly substance, my appearence seems unchanged. Good.

I can discuss this with myself later. For now, i grab two knifes and release air slashes at the demons, in angles that would their heads off, accounting for their every possible movement and action.

Meanwhile, miniscule tentacles coming out of my wrist grab the dust and pieces of the destructed walls and ceiling floating around in the air, forming a ball the size of a magnum bullet.

The tentacles form into a full hand, which throw the ball at Charley's throat.
 
As I catch up to the main group, I don't seem physically different, but my face has gone from a somewhat blank glare to a more transient, knowing glance seen through half open eyes, as though I was mostly asleep. I notice that I have a third sword at my hip.

Everyone is pushed back by Charley's attack, but they're not really harmed. Charley looks suprised and takes a few steps backwards. Then about fifty demons rush towards the group. Powers are still hard to use, but most demons seem far slower than before, or did the speed of the people from the void increase too?

Magnus is blocked from reading Charley's mind by swirling darkness, but then something comes through.

"H-help me..."

Heteka is fine too, in fact she's looks very suprised as she has formed a forcefield around herself.

The demon bites Ted's face but can't pierce his skin.

You were just living your life in your own world when you suddenly find yourselves in Oak Park Chicago, although you have no way to know that unless you recognize it. Quite strange.
 
Kevin looked about in surprise and confusion, the kaiju standing up as he took in his new surroundings. Where was he?
 
Luminaris feels decidedly different thanks to his new power, he stares at Dein Nomos briefly, the sword flickers slightly, before he focuses on the target.

Luminaris forms a large fireball in his hands, as he does this the heat in the room becomes noticeable.

"Cruel Sun." he says as he releases the orb at the demons.

Meanwhile however, a surge of white flames envelops Charley, Luminaris is attempting to use his purification ability to return him to his human state and purge the demonic corruption afflicting him.
 
From my hands and face, tentacles start forming out, shooting beams of energy at the demons's heads.

From my hip, a tentacle forms, holding my gun. I shoot at a wall, causing the bullet to bounce a dozen times before flying over to his throat, avoiding vital parts.
 
Utilizing some rather hard-to-follow footwork, I rush towards to demons at an even higher speed than I seem to have already reached, making sure that I dodge or don't move into the path of any projectiles, launching a nearly solid lattice of wind blades at the demons, with the maneuver notably lacking any unnecessary movements.
 
Rompot feels strange, while he is still Solid matter, he feels that he can change this shape, and he can sense that his Pocket Dimention has new things to his arsenal.

I should check that later.

But while he didn't know all of his new abilities, he felt that one in particular was standing out.

Rompot than summoned a tiny cloud that went up to Charley, passing through the wall of demons, then, a thunder came out of it and hitted Charley for full 5 seconds before the cloud ceased from existence

This is the maximum that i could do, but that should hurt that little prick
 
Regaining her footing, Koharu notices her mind is clearer, her sense of smell is sharper and her breathing has changed. She looks down and notices three additional swords at her hips.

Drawing Onikiri and Kumokiri she reinforces them and then teleports to the demons and uses Hiken: Yatsukahagi. She spins her body around while swinging her swords, producing a large, powerful, orange tornado which shakes the surrounding area and slices apart the enemies inside
 
Kevin glanced down towards Abiah, tilting his head slightly as he blinked in surprise. The chimeric kaiju quickly turned his attention back towards his new surroundings, gazing over the village.
 
Alexander suffering from a headache creates rain to further slow the demons down.

'Okay whats going on now?'

Response. New abilities have been acquired as well as a increase of physical abilities.

'...Who?'

Response. This voice is the effect of the Unique Skill "Great Sage."

'Okay and how do I not know about these new abilities like the last ones?'

Response. Information on new abilities have been granted to "Great Sage" instead of the user.

'Right, so you know all about the new abilities then, then explain to me why everything is moving so slow, including my body.'

Response. To deliver vital information to the user while in battle "Great Sage's" ability "Hasten Thought" has been activated increasing the users thought speed by ten times.

'Right, you know what, its probably better if you list off all the new stuff I can do, save us time going by one by one.'

[Insert list of abilities here]

'Thats quite a list, a few redundancies but I can't complain. Now lets see what I can do now.'

Alexander uses Spacial Travel to get behind Charley and try to touch him then use Divide on him.
 
I'm about to die? No, that shouldn't be possible, not for an existence like me… but this is real, a real fear of death I freeze up, but then, something changes, power flows through me, and relief washes over me as the attack that should have killed barely hurts.

As my body changes, two voices ring out: "Welsh Dragon Balance Breaker" "Holy Mother Balance Breaker" and a red and gold armor covers my body. [Quick explanation, balance breaker activates in heightened emotional states, changes to the spirit, or when you're in a bad situation. Since all of these things were just happening, they would activate]

The effects of the armor activate, an aura of healing spreads out from my body, and a deafening voice begins repeating "BOOST BOOST BOOST BOOST BOOST BOOST BOOST BOOST…" At the same time, visions fill my head, everything happening for the next 5 seconds plays out. My analytical abilities go full blast, absorbing and calculating every minor detail. I can barely tell what's the present, the future, or a prediction, the noise and thoughts flood me, and I collapse to the ground with a searing headache.

Slumped on the floor, I begin rapidly mumbling out information non stop, people with enhanced hearing can just barely make out that I'm giving them directions to avoid potential injurious or fatal attacks.

"Magnus, dodge right, 3 seconds. Beerko, dodge left, 2 seconds. Heteka, 2 steps back, .5 seconds…" and so on and so forth.
 
I feel new powers flowing in me, along with the knowledge of many more spells.

"It's time to act!" I exclaim, and then let the magic energy flow into my hands and use Power Surge, increasing the power of my spells and using Daedric Curse, branding one of the demons with a dark rune, making it explode and hitting also the demons closer to the target.

"Hehehehehehe...nah. Screw it." He then held his hand up and generated a dark storm across Antartica. "THIS ENTIRE PLACE IS MY TERRITORY!"
 
Daniel stared out the window, chuckling lightly and rubbing his head. "I, uh...got dropped out here seriously unexpectedly and under-prepared. I barely managed to board a hotel last night through sheer luck." Daniel wisely decided to leave the whole "got chased out of L.A. by the local militia" thing out of the conversation.
