You were just an ordinary person living peacefully in your world, dealing with the grind of day-to day life. When suddenly, a blinding light from the heavens bore down upon the world, and in a flash, your whole life from before ceased to exist. But not because you died, but because your formerly dull life will never be the same again. Because soon, you will awaken on the top of a large hill, surrounded by other people you've never seen before, and together, you will embark on a journey to save, not just your world, but all of creation.

As colors weave into a spire of flames, distant sparks will call to a past still unnamed.

Bear this torch against the cold of the night, search your soul and reawaken the undying light.

It was an ordinary day for you, the kind where it didn't seem like anything could go wrong. You may have decided to take a stroll, or you're running an errand for a friend or co-worker, and you may have even just stepped outside your door to watch the sun. Whatever the case may have been, you will always remember standing outside and watching the soundless explosion burst in the sky, and quickly overwhelming your senses with a blinding white. You felt yourself falling into deep unconsciousness, when a glass or crystal structure instantly formed around you. However, this only magnified the brilliance all around you, and your senses were soon lost to you.

You were not entirely sure how long you were unconscious, however, you soon find yourself in the middle of a grassy field with a bright, blue sky hovering over you, standing in the same crystal structure from before, but now you can see others around you, being held in similar crystal structures. And while some of these characters seem familiar to you, others looked like they were from out of this world.

As soon as your consciousness returned, the surrounding crystal shattered, and you fell to the ground. However, it was only a drop of about a couple inches, so you simply landed on your feet with a light thud. Soon, everyone else around you began to arouse from their slumber and exited their crystals, and soon, fifteen of you are gathered in a circle, wondering who these other people are, in some cases what these people are, and where this place even is that you've found yourself in.

Klasha was utterly bamboozled by what was going on. The Kremling was just in the middle of patrolling Kong Island in an attempt to defeat Donkey Kong, before there came a bright light. Next thing he knew, he's now in some strange new place with unfamiliar faces around him. The Kremling looked around in bewilderment, wondering just what was going on.

Nicholas looked around in surprise. He had been fighting against a Shadow prior to appearing here. He wondered if this was a power of Shadows, but concluded that this was unlikely.

Nicholas approached to mecha being and spoke up.

"Do you know why we're here?"

Alexander just stares blankly in front of him as he tries to process what happened.

The young woman blinked and look around, frowning slightly. Where...where was she? One moment she had been going snowboarding and suddenly...? She looked at all the people around her and her heart seemed to spike slightly. Did...did she get kidnapped!? What was going on??

A Middle-aged woman with ebony black hair and streaks of White-greying hair brings herself to a stand, adjusting herself and taking proper standing etiquette, appearing proud and proper, dusting the shards of crystal of her royal purple dress.

"Do you ladies and or gentlemen know what on Earth is going on? Is one of you the ringleader of this absurd display?"

Waddle Dee is rather confused at what happened, he was just about to bring food to King Dedede, but now he was surrounded by strange people, with some being VERY tall..

He's not really bothered by this, he went trought worse, like that time Popstar got turned in to cyborg land.

Shiori looks around wondering where she is. She was walking through Vigrid and then ended up here.

Considering everyone else's response we are all likely in the same predicament. She thinks

"The hell's goin' on here?" Klasha questioned to no one in particular as the Kremling still looked around the strange new place he was in.

A small yellowish bug like creature crawls out. It's body covered in knitted together leaves that once may have resembled clothes but were clearly torn. Tears gather in it's eyes as it warily shouts "Se!?" Se!?" "SE?!"

Xenia looked around, appearing as clueless as the others standing around her. "I guess no one knows what's happening." She remembered being in the midst of Gaur Plains, attempting to hunt down dinner for her friends and family, when the bright light happened, and now she found herself here.

Frost, too, was unsure as to these circumstances. However, unlike the others, she didn't just simply question things. She simply turned around and stared off into the distance, and became slightly awestruck at the sight she had seen. The world around the group seemed to be an amalgamation of zones and climates with seemingly no order to them. Whatever this place was, it wasn't Mobius, that was for sure.

"And so, since we're all asking the same question, I believe I will be the one to break all this repition, who are you all? Explain yourselves, what is your names, where did you come from, what was it the last thing you was doing?"

The Lady said in her authoritative tone, one clearly used to scold children and adolescents to get them into line.

"Well then? Speak up, all of you."

"U-Uh...my name..." she slowly reached into a bag she was carrying and pulled out a little ice pick. For climbing, of course. It was one of the gifts her father had given her... "my name's Rachel."

Nicholas, looking a bit surprised at the lady's aggressiveness, spoke up in a rather calm tone of voice: "My name is Nicholas Phoenix, I was hunting Shadows prior to showing up here, now, who might you be?"

Alexander has regained most of his sense, but isn't paying attention to the others around him as he is busy thinking.

"Myself? I am the Lady Elizabeth Nocturna, and I was enjoying a glass of Champagne while I was reading and now I find myself here."

She said, tapping her arm with her fingers as she crossed them. Taking passing glances at each person as they spoke.

"My name is... Merra... Yeah! I like... drawing... and watching cartoons... and... I don't have any pencils or paper. Shoot."

"My name is Shiori, I was visiting Vigrid, the City of Deja Vu, with some acquaintances and next thing I knew, here I was."

"Name's Klasha," The Kremling in question responded in his baritone voice. "I was lookin' for Donkey Kong and get rid of him for the boss when I found myself here."

Waddle Dee just continues patting the insect, as he cannot really respond to Nocturna because of his lack of a conventional mouth.

Xenia rolled her eyes. "Well, first off, a little courtesy to the rest of us would be wonderful. Regardless, my name is Xenia. Xenia Voterian."

As the group of people wondered about their current situation, something akin to a shooting star began to streak through the skies. Frost noticed this, and pointed towards it, saying, "I don't mean to alarm you, but there seems to be a large object heading towards us." As it came closer to their location, it became larger and brighter. At the point where everyone would think that it would crash, it stopped in mid-air, hovering over the center of the group. It slowly hovered down to the ground, and began to take shape. Upon standing, the figure that stepped towards them was a woman with long-blonde hair, wearing light blue dress and holding a wand in her hand.

The woman glanced around at them and then bowed. "Hello to you all. My name is Rosalina, and I'm glad to see all of you have arrived unharmed. I'm sure you have many questions, but let me assure you that you are safe here. Which is much more than can be said for countless others from your worlds, and all the other worlds caught up in this tragedy." Rosalina looked between all of them with a neutral expression, although there was a slight sense of worry in her eyes that only the sharpest of eyes can tell. "Now, I will hear your questions on this situation, and will answer to the best of my ability. Please, go ahead."

Rosalina nodded her head. "Yes. You see, it was a little over a week ago since it all started. I'm not sure why it started or who is responsible, but for whatever reason, entire universes had begun to disappear. Not into darkness, as one would assume, but into light. Soon, worlds across the multiverse began to disappear in a flash, and I realized that if nothing was done, there would be no one to stop this.

"So, I managed to send my Lumas into the cosmos, and had them seek individuals who could potentially help, due to certain qualities of their souls. Once they found you, they sacrificed themselves by shielding you in a crystal that would sustain you enough for you to arrive here safely." Rosalina looked downward, a hand clutched to her chest. "I'm afraid that that was the most I could do for you. Unfortunately, your worlds, your friends, your family, all of it is now gone, lost in the light."

'How infuriating, everything I spent so long building up, destroyed in a blink of an eye. Though perhaps I should take this as a lesson, a lesson that everything I had before was worthless in the face of true power, true power that I should work to achieve, true power beyond even the force that destroyed everything. Yes I do like the sound of that. Now where to begin.'
