Her mouth left agape, Xenia dropped to her knees, tears forming in her eyes. "No. No, it can't be. But- But, I was just going for a minute to hunt for food. They can't be...no. No!" The girl fell forward onto her hands, tears falling into the grass as she began to sob.
Frost, while not as extreme as Xenia, turned away from the conversation, her mind in the process of disbelief. "It can't be...all gone, right?" She asked herself. But upon gazing at this new and unusual world she had come into, there couldn't have been any other solution.
"However, there is still hope," Rosalina said, attempting to break everyone out of their own despair. "As I mentioned, my Lumas sought you out for a very specific reason. Because, as it turns out, I have experienced a similar situation not too long ago, albeit at a much smaller scale than what has happened now. And while there doesn't seem to be much that I can do this time, I was able to have my Lumas save as many people as they could who can accomplish this task."
Rosalina walked out from the circle of people, and gazed out into the wild world before them, likely drawing their attention to it if they hadn't noticed it already. "Whatever has done all of this is attempting something with the many souls it has obtained from their worlds. Whether it be to build an army of some kind, or absorb all of their energies for its own, or even something else completely, I can't be sure. However, what I do know as that, while most of them have completely vanished, the strongest of all the worlds have taken form, and they're all down there. Heroes, villains, and even those in between. All of them have been gathered, and will inevitably oppose us.
"For you see," she said, turning back to their group, "you all possess a special ability, one which has laid dormant in all of you until this moment. The ability to capture and harness the power of these warriors, otherwise known as 'Spirits.' And with this ability, you are the only ones who will be able to oppose this great threat, and restore balance to the multiverse. So, please, say you'll help me stop this madness that will inevitably consume everything until nothing is left." She finished speaking, and allowed her visitors to absorb the information they were given, and awaited their response.
