World of Heavenly Light Roleplay Thread #1: At World's End, Another Begins...

Rosalina nodded, and lifted her wand into the air. Suddenly, lights flew out of her wand, similar to the lights approaching the group now, and each light held suspended in the air for a moment, before floating towards each person, and slowly entered them, filling them with a warm, glowing light.
And just in time, too. As the lights that approached had finally landed directly in front of the group. The primary light moved forward, and soon gained form. The figure wore a dark cloak across his back, and appeared to be made out of a dark-coated metal, with a golden metal jutting from his ankels and shoulder. The dark and gold spikes that shot up from the top of his head made him look even more of a threat than he already appeared, and his red eyes opened, first scanning the entire group before his eyes settled on Rosalina.
"So, this is the rebellious seed, eh? Doesn't look like much, if I'm honest." He pointed at Rosalina. "Regardless, you're to come with me, Rosalina. Attempting to resist will only make this harder on yourself."
Rosalina scowled. "I don't think you understand who you're dealing with. I won't go away easily."
The man in black scoffed. "Fine by me. I, Bass.EXE, will bring you in myself. And to make sure your little 'friends' won't stop me, I shall initiate one-on-one combat between you and me, as well as my allies and yours. Only one of our group may enter, and only one shall leave. Does that sound fair to you?"
Rosalina's fist clenched over her wand. "Very well." She looked back over her shoulder. "I'm sorry, but I must ask five of you to step forward and help me in this fight. I know you just received your Spirits, but this is absolutely necessary for us to survive."

As he gains the powers of the spirit, Dee also gains a green bandana on the top of his head.
Waddle Dee steps foward with courage, ready to use his two newly aquired spears to defeat the evil doers.
Also, any female that may be looking at him can feel themself being charmed of him for some magical reason.

With their five champions chosen, a golden light surrounded each of them, including Bass and Rosalina, and the five Spirits in the back. Bass looked back at the rest of the group, and sneered. "Oh, and don't think I've forgotten you. You can just deal with these to keep yourselves entertained." Suddenly, a horde of Goombas and Koopa Troopas appeared in the field, surrounding the group. The grin on his face was extremely apparent as he vanished along with the others. Xenia groaned, "Oh, dear..."
Each combatant ended up in an circular arena, which appeared to hover high in the sky. The opponents of each champion soon materialized, revealing to each who their opponent would be.

As Nicolas prepared himself, his opponent had crossed his arms, smirking at him. He appeared to be a highly-advanced robot in a jet-black outfit with a variety of equipment on his body, but the green hair on his head waved in a ghostly manner that made him seem like he was a ghost himself. He stepped forward, smirking. "So, you're who I'm fighting. You don't look like much of a catch, but I guess I have to work with what I get." His arm then morphed into a giant blaster, and he pointed it at Nicolas. "Your move." (Skulker)

The Waddle Dee soon appeared in the arena, and was face-to-face with another cute-looking creature. It was a small, green squirrel, wearing a military outfit. It seemed harmless enough, until it got a good look at the spears across Waddle Dee's back. Its eye began to twitch, and it held its head for a minute, before looking up again, appearing much more feral than before. The bloodlusted rodent grinned at Waddle Dee, pulling out a war knife and beginning to charge forward at him. (Flippy)

The Mobian paced around the edge of the ring, as another human wearing a pink and green sweater and green pants circled the ring on the opposite end, fiddling with the garrote in her hand as if it was nothing more than ordinary string. At least, she appeared to be a girl to Frost, though at times she could swear it was really a boy she was staring at. Regardless, she then stopped, as did Frost, and she gave her a once over. "I would probably ask you what in the Nine Realms you are, but I don't think this is the time nor the place for questions like that." She assumed a fighting position. "Now, get ready for this!" (Alex Fierro)

The Kremling soon materialized in the arena, and in front of him appeared a bird, a hawk to be precise, wearing a silver cap and a scarf flowing from his neck and across his back. The hawk took one look at Klasha, and a bone-chilling aura seemed to emanate from the bird. It was obvious that it was looking forward to killing the Kremling, and that it would enjoy every second of it. (Pet Shop)

Nicholas responds in a slightly amused tone before activating his spirit and drawing his sword.
He holds his sword forward as energy swirls around him.
"Mindflayer." He says as several spheres of energy form around the enemy and smash into him, these would also steal any buffs the enemy had active if such a thing was present.

Cute lookings thing being actually sevage beasts was no new concept to Waddle Dee, but he still started sweathing cold slightly, as he he got his weapons ready.

Skulker grinned and completely tanked the attack. Or rather, it appeared that way, as a moment later, he could be seen rematerializing out of thin air. He then laughed, tauntingly. "Ha ha, that almost tickled. Sorry, but you're gonna have to try a bit harder than that to hit me." He then began to fire at Nicolas with his arm cannon.

Flippy was ready for the attack, and he ducked beneath the spear before lunging at Dee with his combat knife, ready to cut his throat open. (If he had a throat, anyway.)

Elastigirl then ran forwards directly towards Metalli, seeming to be just going for a straight-forward attack.

The falcon shot up into the air, dodging Klasha's attack with ease. Then, it opened its beak, and a flash of light occurred before a spear of ice was launched directly at Klasha's head at blinding speeds.

Frost drew her blade, which had manifested when she obtained her Spirit, alongside the black kimono she now wore, and held ready, directing her blade right at her opponent. Alex grinned. "Well, if you're not coming to me, then I'll just have to come to you!" She then rushed up to meet Frost, which Frost countered by attacking with her sword. Easily seeing this coming, she sidestepped the attack, while wrapping her garrote around the blade and yanked, taking the sword out of Frost's hands and tossing it out in the middle of the field. And with that, Frost was suddenly at a huge disadvantage.

Alexander was being a great example to the rest of the team, as he began to launch numerous Goombas and Koopas into the air while essentially hacking them apart. Whenever one of them got killed, they dispersed into something akin to ash, and soon there was a lot of it across the field.
Building up her courage after seeing that feat, Xenia picked up her gun, and unified with her own Spirit. "Alright, eat this!" She said as literal fireballs began to launch from her gun and vaporized the stock enemies in her path.

Rachel gasped and she watched as fireballs went around, vaporizing some and other enemies were completely cut into tiny pieces before turning into ash. She was panicking slightly and she slowly backed away. "No...no no no this is not good..."
Meanwhile, her spirit seemed to flicker behind her. POY has a wicked grin on her face as there was a sudden wave of panic and fear spreading out towards the enemies.

Nicholas fires a large ice spike to counter the cannon fire. He then casts another spell. "Violet Storm." he says as a swirling mass of energy appears around the target and assails them, this also has the ability to paralyze the target.

Instinctively, Klasha raised up his arms to protect himself from the incoming ice spear, only to use Protect as he projected a forcefield around himself that blocked the projectile.
Grinning at this, the Kremling sprang at Pet Shop, swiping at the bird of prey with his left arm as he used Dragon Claw.

Metalli summons her gyro, grabs on to it, and jumps into Elastigirl with a neutral-air and then drops her gyro, she then performs another nuetral air, which grabs the gyro, she then repeats this process one more time before throwing the gyro at Eleastigirl, and then she jumps and does a side-special. A 0-to-death combo.

Skulker knew this was an attack that would trap him there. However, he smirked and went the only direction he could; down. He managed to phase into the earth just in time before the attack managed to land. After the Violet Storm had ended, Skulker wasn't anywhere to be seen. However, he soon began to rise up from behind Nicolas, and prepared to fire an electrified net at him.

Flippy saw the second spear and tried to dodge, but they were too close and Waddle Dee was too small. He took the spear in the shoulder, which only infuriated him as he began to swipe at Waddle Dee with his knife, actually pushing himself further and further onto the spear.

Unfortunately, Elastigirl was attempting to bait her into attacking, and prepared herself for the onslaught. She dived away as Metalli spun in the air with her jet thruster. Her arm then whips forward and grabs the gyro before tossing it back at the mermaid's face. Whether or not that lands, she takes advantage of the distraction and jumps onto the mech, wrapping her arms around the arms of the machine as her legs attempted to bind the mech's legs together, attempting to knock it off balance and send it tumbling to the ground.

As Alex attempted to flip around and attack, Frost held out her hand and said, "Hadō #33: Sōkatsui!" A blue fireball launched from the Mobian's hand and seemed to land under the einherji and knocked her off her feet. However, at that moment, she seemed to metamorphose suddenly, and she had suddenly become a panther, who landed gracefully on its feet and took no time in charging after Frost. Grunting, she made a dash towards her blade and barely managed to grab it before she had to face a series of gnashing teeth and claws. However, she turned and found the panther had disappeared on her. She didn't have much time to think on this however, as the thin wire of the garrote managed to find itself around Frost's neck, and suddenly she was at the mercy of the human who was standing behind her now. "A shame, really. It seemed like you really did try to pick a good fight." Her mind raced to think of any way she could turn this situation in her favor.

As Shiori, Merra and Xenia continued to fight, it seemed as if more and more of the creatures were beginning to spawn at a greater rate, one that would inevitably lead to them being overrun by the creatures, despite their newfound strength. Soon, a pack of Goombas and a pack of Koopas managed to slip by the front lines, and the Goombas charged after Rachel, while the Koopas targeted Nocturna.
Xenia noticed this at the last minute, and cursed to herself for missing them. "Dang it. Hey, watch out!" she cried as she attempted to break away and head for the divergent group of enemies.

Waddle Dee swifty moves to dodge the slashes, while keeeping his left hand on the yellow spear, which, since it's now stuck on Flippy, he tries using to lift the squireel thing in the air.
If the previous manouver succends, he will do a thrust with the red spear, aiming at the chest of the bloodlusted beast.

Skulker didn't realize the attack was coming until it was too late. He attempted to roll out of the way, but one of the ice spikes pierced his leg, holding him in place. "Gah, blast it!" He aimed his arm cannon at Nicholas, or at least tried to, for his arm halted mid-motion, and the rest of his body seemed to fail to respond when he tried to move. "Grah! What...did you...do?!" he growled in frustration.

Flippy could feel the spear being lifted under him, and his military training began to kick in. Rather than hold back, he leaped and let the spear carry him faster than Waddle Dee was anticipating. As he flew through the air on Waddle Dee's spear, he pulled a grenade out of his pocket and pulled the pin out with his teeth, a crazed smile on his face as he was willing to kill himself alongside the spearman.

Despite the intense heat, Elastigirl held out, knowing that the heat resistance Edna had made for her suit should allow her to hold on. Making a judgement call, she released the arms of the mech, and focused her attention on the mermaid within the mech, wrapping her arms around her waist and attempting to bind her in order to stop the mech.

Pet Shop squaked in pain as it got hit by the Flamethrower directly. The hawk slammed on the ground and rolled along the ground until it came to a stop, kicking up a dust cloud around the bird.

Frost grunted, barely able to breathe past the garrote. Alex, feeling victory confidently in her favor, leaned down and breathed in the fox's ear. "Seems like you have something to say. So, what's your final words?" Feeling the wire loosen just a smidge, the fox slashed the air in what seemed like a vain gesture to attack Alex. "Some...no mai..." Suddenly, the fox grinned, and yelled, "Tsukishiro!" And then, falling under Shiori's power, all of them began to fight each other, completely ignoring the heroes and allowing them to back away to watch the carnage unfold. Xenia whistled at the scene before her, and turned to Shiori. "Dang, girl. That is one potent ability you have there. Guess we don't have to worry about getting mobbed here."
Skulker didn't realize the attack was coming until it was too late. He attempted to roll out of the way, but one of the ice spikes pierced his leg, holding him in place. "Gah, blast it!" He aimed his arm cannon at Nicholas, or at least tried to, for his arm halted mid-motion, and the rest of his body seemed to fail to respond when he tried to move. "Grah! Flippy could feel the spear being lifted under him, and his military training began to kick in. Rather than hold back, he leaped and let the spear carry him faster than Waddle Dee was anticipating. As he flew through the air on Waddle Dee's spear, he pulled a grenade out of his pocket and pulled the pin out with his teeth, a crazed smile on his face as he was willing to kill himself alongside the spearman.
