With the new update the hunter recived the following abilities

Duplication (Via Shadow clone), Soul manipulation (Via High Kaliber), body puppetry via third party controller. magazine rack creates infinite ammo for what ever gun they are holding.

They also should get faster then light attack speed via the fat line a gun specifically stated to use faster then light Tachyons.

Not sure about the fat line being FTL, though the rest I definitely agree with

I mean "Because Tachyons are particles that move faster than light, the Hegemony of Man has long used them for interstellar communication. As with all technology, it was eventually weaponized. However- tachyons travel backward in time, making this gun hard to aim."

It's pretty clear that it's FTL.

Obviously agree, I also plan on potentially exploring the idea of Tier 4/5 Enter the Gungeon. I'm not solid on it but I do plan on making a thread in the near future for those interested.

oh and uh

updated the verse page a bit, too

I mean you could but they'd essentially be paper cutouts of The Hunter

go nuts if you want to

Differences are slight, mostly present in starting equipment. For example, Pilot is awful as far as weapons go but has Social Influencing and the ability to lockpick chests. Marine has the best gun and has armor to start with. Convict has a shotgun and a molotov cocktail as well as Rage Power. Paradox is R A N D O M and probably has some weird abilities with his/her/its lore. Idk much about Gunslinger but IIRC he's got a great weapon and some weird shit to do with synergies. Computer has no health, only armor, gets stronger with the more trash you have and starts with an electric gun. Finally, bullet is awesome and you should play him exclusively since he takes no contact damage from Bullet Kin and can cut through bullets.

Essentially, yeah. They have access to the exact same items.

Coincidentally, I did it

Well some items they don't have access too.

one of which kind of irks me. Because the hunter's page gives them revival via the friendship cookie... which is a cultist exclusivie item and also can not be used by a dead Gungeneer.

Also Gunslinger's Liches Eye bullets are infused with powerful gun magic letting him use most a guns synergies and I think? the Gunslinger could basically be a Key on the liches page since they are the same person. The gunslinger just being the past lich brought to the future by a time paradox caused by the lovely time blob paradox.

Oh right The gunderfury is resistant to the gungeons temperal anomolies and that could potentually be noted or maybe it should be dismissed . "

Gun of Guncraft
Blessed Gun of the Gunseeker.
This gun gains experience with every kill, and is strangely resistant to the Gungeon's temporal rifts. Any accrued experience will persist throughout time."

Sorry for the double post after the bump it just occured to me.

Seems like that'd be Resistance to Time Manip, yeah.

Resistance to Mind Manipulation from facing the Killithid and Mine Flayer

"An unfathomable horror from the abyss, feared by even the strongest Gundead.

Killithid have the ability to dominate the guns of others, turning them against their wielders. Only the most iron-willed gunslingers can hope to escape being enslaved by their power
."

Willpower manipulation with Life Orb

"Drains will from foes.

An item to be held by a Gungeoneer. Can be used to weaponize stolen will against the holder's enemies."

Just got interested in this verse and discovored alot of things missing from the profiles (which is natural with something like this). I'll look further into the verse for more interesting things

They already resisted mind manip via Shotgun Full of Love

The latter is iffy but acceptable

The Shotgun Full of Love is a Empathic Manipulation through Mind Manipulation, to make things less confusing in a match-up putting resistance to the Killithid and Mine Flayer's mind manipulation is a better example and proof of mind manipulation resistance than resisting a subset of mind manipulation.

Don't really see how this is iffy, it's seems straight forward and undeniable.

Again, it doesn't change much either way but you're free to add it if you like.

It's iffy because it doesn't say this is a negative effect. The weapon merely states it powers itself through will. It would essentially be like me attempting to give everyone in D&D resistance to absorption via the Flumph who absorbs mental energies around it. It isn't neccesarily a harmful effect.

I'm not planning on adding things to the profiles until I get more familiar with the verse and possibly do a CRT to add abilities/resistances in bulk.

I mean it explicitly states that it drains the will of enemies and can turn that will into a weapon against enemies. It's an obvious harmful effect that simply isn't easy to express in a game. They show it by having an icon pop up above your head after killing an enemy with the Life Orb and when you reload the Life Orb it does damage to everything in the room.Based off the description and gameplay, you drain the enemies will which ends up killing them and doing that allows the will you drain from them to be used as a weapon and explodes dealing damage to everything around. It's pretty simple
