I see durability negation in Nightmare's profile.

what's Lancelot's hax again? he's all brute force, right? Knight of Owner is useless unless he can grab Soul Edge.

Lancelot doesn't really have hax. KoH can let him use a lamp post from the bridge (or he just whips out Arondight) to outskill but Nightmare still wrecks him pretty hard with reality warp, BFR, duplication, durability negation etc. Even if Lance somehow wins, possession screws him over.

Edit: If Lance grabs the sword, does that mean he auto wins since KoH makes it his?

If lance grabs the sword, he's going to be possessed by the soul edge as shown when anyone has wielded the sword. Besides Lancelot rarely even tries to grab the weapon out of his opponent's hand.

Okay so Nightmare has such a small AP advantage it doesn't even matter.

Basically, 392 Megatons vs 385 Megatons.

Let's see, nightmare is gonna be really damn tough for Lancelot to deal with. Lancelot's little hazy appearance isn't going to help here since Nightnare doesn't care what he looks like, not to mention his insanity makes it unable for him to use the ability properly. His noble phantasm doesn't seem like it would help much for him in the long run since Nightmare can durability negate and from what I can remember, he can soul nuke an entire battlefield, so him doing that makes it even more screwed on Lancelot's end. Lancelot's Arondight seems to be the one thing that can help him destroy nightmare, only for the fact that it oneshots via AP advantage, but he doesn't start off with that weapon and just goes for anything else he can find. Not to mention that the moment he tries to grab Soul Edge (which is highly unlikely given how he never did that in Fate/Zero) he gets possessed. Overall, Nightmare seems to have the better abilities and can finish his opponents in more scenarios than Lancelot.

Just going to remind everyone that Reality Warping isn't something Nightmare uses in combat, especially in this form.

However, while I'm wary of speaking on Soul Edge's durability negation (Even with its dimension-cutting ability, I've never seen it actually negate durability on anyone), he still wins this unless I'm missing something important. One Soul Wave should be enough to kill him deader than dead, as should one grab from Nightmare's mutated arm, which is also capable of soul absorption. I remember him using duplication at least once during a fight with Siegfried, so that's a problem as well.

Nightmare has never used his Dimension cutting in combat. So while it is Durability Negation if he chooses to use it, he has never done so in character. Same for Reality Warping (Aside from when he goes Inferno Mode)

Hmm I vote Nightmare for range and versatility. Realistically if he wants he could just whip out a Soul Wave (which he does go to in character), devastating Lancelot insanely. We also haver the Dura Negging and Spatial Manipulation thanks to his dimensional cutting and his teleportation might make hitting Nightmare a pain in the ass for Lancelot.

Now one could argue that Lancelot could turn Soul Edge against the Azure Knight but I'd respond with the fact that his sword's possesive properties could nullify it (I mean unless his willpower's as good as Algol's which I doubt) meaning Nightmare not only has the range and arsenal to give Lancelot hell but also renders his best power more or less an irrelavance.

I counting vote for Nightmare right now.

Nightmare: 3 (Kagamine,Gar,Hell)

Lancelot: 0

Dunno if King voting too.

Turning Soul Edge againsy Nightmare is pointless as Nightmare IS Soul Edge. So doing so will only harm the host and will still leave Inferno to deal with.
