So why is The Presence considered the God of DCU, if he is not omnipotent like The-One-Above-All? Couldn't The Writer not be the God of DCU instead since he is omnipotent?

To my understanding there are multiple multiverses in dc, the presence is merely the god of 1, multiverse in this context being infinite dimensionsal and having beyond dimensionsal spaces, but more exist.

So why The Writer currently dead, if he is omnipotent? Didn't he got killed because he was too late to finish typing to save himself? Don't forget, Animal Man killed him too, and Animal Man was considered to be his adversary.
