I forgot i even registered here. Can someone nuke my account from orbit? Just to be sure. I'm not gonna log in here either way anyway.

I just wanted to argue that Ashinin wins vs Elder God Demonbane like 6 years ago...

Hello.

Our forum is under attack by people who post what appear to be crypto Telegram links, but they likely contain viruses that infect the computers of those who click them.

Do NOT under any circumstances click on these links, or quote the messages that contain them.

If you see such posts, quickly report them to our rule-violation reports thread, so our staff members can delete them.

Here is what they look like:

According to our available information, it appears that the hackers are using programs to brute force access the accounts of members with weak passwords.

Everybody please make sure that you have sufficiently strong passwords that use a mixture of letters, numbers, and symbols, and use at least 17 to 18 of them in combination, and also always use two-factor authentication if possible.

I extremely strongly recommend that everybody who read this follow these instructions to get stronger passwords and two-factor authentication, and inform all other members here that they know about it as well.
late email better than no email, thank you very much for the heads up!

Only by Telegram links or there's another method that they make it ?

I literally have no clue how to contact any of you ( besides Shadyboi who isn't staff obviously ) on Discord and have never seen anything linking to a Discord profile for them.

Some of our staff should have their Discord accounts up on the wiki side of the things (right around the point where the edit number is, there's a little icon if they've bothered to do it). Shouldn't be hard to find one.

Dude searching for accounts on the wiki is like getting hit with Cancer, covid-19, and AIDS all at the same time.

I'm saying that trying to find accounts on the wiki(like, for instance, mine) without a sandbox/blog/the profile being posted somewhere else is the singular biggest pain in the ass since multi-layering tabbers with references
Search "User:"

Input the name of the staff member you want to find.

Alternatively, there is the VS Battles staff page, which you can very easily find by typing "VS Battles Staff" in the search bar. There you will have listed all the current staff members as well as all the retired ones. Go through the accounts until you find one that has their Discord profile linked.

I do not comprehend how this is so difficult.

How do we contact admins to unban once we get our accounts back?
You contact one of our higher-ranked staff members via Discord, who can then contact me or AKM sama in turn via private messages here in this forum to coordinate. We can either unban your account after first sending you a password reset email message that makes it impossible to log in with that account until the password has been changed, or possibly change the email address for it if that has been compromised as well.

If you do not know how to contact them via Discord, you can leave a message on their Fandom wiki message walls to learn how to do contact them there.
