Warlords: World Conquest RP

“I suppose I could spare a few minutes if it means avoiding conflict. But no more than that, you hear?!”
The wind nodded...or...at least what could vaguely be approximated as a nod from a sentient windstorm...before dissipating in the air, spreading out across the sky above. For a moment...they were left alone, the sand slowly settling to the ground below.

Before a being slowly manifested before them... translucent, non-corporal...but quickly becoming opaque as the shape began to fill and strengthen...as if a blurry photo brought under focus.

"...A vistor! An uninvited one, at that!" A deep...aged voice sounded...as a tanned man emerged in front of the Warlord. He was...massive, his full height easily surpassing ten feet tall as he stared down at the gathered people, his yellow eyes piercing into theirs. His wrinkled face stretched into a wide smile...his unbuttoned Hawaiian shirt flittering in the desert breeze.

"...I do hope my little Anemoi didn't give you any trouble~" He said, likely referring to the strange wind creature they had talked to earlier.

“I do hold my reservations on creating life outside of the Lord, but other than that, no.” He responded, not intimidated in the slightest. His pions were cowering behind him, like they did before.

"A man of god, are you? I guess our methods...differ, sort to speak." The man said, the smile not shifting from his face. He grabbed a cigar from one of the pockets in his shirt, lighting it with a gentle snap of his fingers.

"I assume you're the son of a gun who took out Morocco, yes?"

Given the options I have right now I'll go with the Stollenwurm
Defender teleports to Matterhorn. "Stollenwurm," Defender says, "pspspspspsps."
Immediately the Stollenwurm bursts out from the ground in front of Defender.
"Why hello!" Defender says cheerfully while petting it.
The Stollenwurm purrs contently before wrapping itself around defender.
"Alright let's go." Defender says teleporting to Piz Chavalatsch the easternmost point of Switzerland.
The Stollenwurm jumps off of Defender to guard the Sigil.
"Stay here I am going on trip I should be back in a about a hour tho." Defender says.

"Hahaha, that's correct! Honestly wasn't that difficult; was expecting a bit more." He said, sounding a bit cocky and bored at the same time. "Why, did you plan to take it?"

Zlata giggled as she covered her mouth, before gently laying her head on Maria's shoulder, "Gosh..." she sniffs her clothes, "You smell nice! What's your perfume?"
Maria blushed slightly at the unexpected compliment. "Oh, it's just a simple floral scent, nothing too fancy."
She pondered for a moment. "You know, I'm not quite sure if I still... you know, sweat. Vampires got some neat quirks, don't they?"

"Well, either way, you'd smell nice!" Zlata blushed a bit as well, looking at Maria. "It's weird, I don't know... But, since we're both girls, it's not that weird~"

"Ha...I would be lying if I said the thought hadn't crossed my mind. That would have been my next stop before your little... crusade." The man said. He let out a sigh, a small trail of smoke puffing from his lips.

"Don't suppose I could convince you to...take your business elsewhere?" He said. His voice had a hint of humor in it, as if he was making a joke...but something about his tone suggested he was very much serious.

“No, I don’t think you can. You see, the prize that I’m after is just too good to waste any time on, and going through Algeria is by far the fastest available route; but, I don’t see why we couldn’t, say….make a deal?” Arthur replied, matching his fellow Warlord’s almost sinister energy.

At this point, the trio behind him had fainted from fear. When the Apostle noticed this, he had a good, hearty laugh.

“Hahahaha! Kids, am I right?”

With the goal of World Soul Refinement, Kane quickly gets to work. Rather than his usual empty lot of an "alchemy lab", he relocates to a large, empty warehouse, sealing it air and qi-tight with his divine sense. Using his control over the Divine World Refining Formation, he opens a deep hole in the ground, leading so far into the earth that he can see orange as he leans over the edge and looks down.

He puts several sets of peak-quality alchemy dragons to work on a variety of different concoctions, though he places special focus on the earth and metal dragons. This is because the metal element is associated with the soul, and the earth element would obviously be important for such an act of terraforming. In order to meaningfully empower something as vast and powerful as the soul of a planet, he would normally need geological quantities of material and eventual product, but he lacks both the time and speed for such a thing, so he needs to make up for quantity with quality. Despite the process not taking too long from an objective perspective, Kane can't help but feel worked to the bone as he pushes his abilities past their limits

[1 charge used]

At the end of the process, he has a massive sphere of milky white liquid contained in immensely strong magnetic and gravitational forces, the same principles with which he creates pill spheres, as three large metal alchemy dragons rapidly orbit it. Notably, he has several smaller pill spheres containing smaller amounts of the same liquid orbiting the main mass, adding their constricting forces to its own. After all, if this sort of substance became volatile, not only would Kane without a doubt die, but he's fairly certain that Cuba would become a molten crater. He carefully maneuvers the spheres into the hole in the center of the warehouse before recalling the alchemy dragons, dismissing the restrictive forces around the liquid, and sealing the channel into the earth behind it.

For a long moment, there is mere silence, the calm before the storm. Then, it's as if an earthquake suddenly started, with the land shaking violently and only intensifying over the course of a few minutes. As the land quakes, the water is paradoxically calm, and many strange structures erupt out of the ground and into the sky. Only once the process is over does Kane look outside, immediately seeing the fruits of his labor: in the distance, dwarfing the entire city his warehouse was located within, is a large spirit vein, a root-like structure of spirit stones that emit massive quantities of qi. Such spirit veins dot the landscape of every country within Kane's territory, covering the land like the ribcages and spines of fallen giants and snaking through the ground like massive ore veins, though the effects of the World Soul Refinement do not extend beyond the Divine World Refining Formation.

"Phew... I almost got a bit scared there."

Kane quickly flies over the distant spirit vein, sitting in the lotus position a few meters above it.

"Ah, now this is the qi I need to properly cultivate!"

With the many spirit veins formed as a result of the refinement, the qi density of Kane's territory increases exponentially and shows no signs of stopping, instead continually accumulating in a relatively even density as a result of the formation surrounding the countries. Such a thing is not only a good environment for Kane to cultivate, but is immensely useful for the other cultivators of his territory and further amplifies the properties of plants, herbs, and animals within.

Now that this final preparatory step is finished, Kane can afford to be a bit selfish. He sets up a few sets of alchemy dragons to continually refine pills designed to increase the user's cultivation. Such pills would make the body of a Qi Condensation cultivator simply explode from the sheer density of energy, but for someone at the Foundation Establishment realm such as Kane, they are ideal, especially considering the rather rich qi density he has now has to work with. While this goes on, he directs his attention to other projects.

@Torlikoff

Father snaps. His cool demeanor finally gives way to his unhinged madness.

…YOU…

The ground splits open and reveals a spider made of black metal. It crawls over to you quick.

“I WILL TEAR YOU APART. PIECE BY PIECE, YOU WILL SCREAM UNTIL THE END OF TIME AS I — ”

He coughs loudly.

“…I BURN YOUR EXISTENCE FROM MY KINGDOM! MY HEAVEN! AS SAINT MICHEAL DID WITH THE DEVIL, SO I SHALL DO WITH YOU.

The spider crawls rapidly across the ground. Each of it’s legs fire a storm of bullets, almost as strong as Rom’s gun. It’s main body is heavily armored. Easily capable of withstanding many physical and magical attacks.

“This creation of mine was designed to kill my daughter should she ever betray me. You will burn…BURN…BURN…BURN…BURN! AHAHAHAHAHAAHA!”

From it’s head, a giant cannon points at you. It flashes a massive red, light before it fires particles of anti-demonic energy. This one follows you as nearly as well as Rom’s did.

The legs look brittle, however. A good place to attack.

The man raised an eyebrow, chuckling softly.

Give ‘em a few years, you'll be surprised how fast they grow.” He said. He leaned back slightly, his large frame levitating off the ground as he reclined in the air.

“So…what’s your angle? You must be aiming for something pretty big, yes?”

Who can I challenge? It has nearly been a decade since I last had a real fight, when the creatures went away. I was made as a weapon to defend humanity but my world’s human doesn’t need defending anymore. Except from themselves, however even their armies aren’t really a worthy fight. Peace negotiations were less of a chore so I tried helping with those. Now I am in another world ripe with conflict and I am still waiting. I don’t know how long I can take this. So how do I handle it.
Solution 1: Attack another nation.
Denied: The current defenses of my territory are unlikely to actually stop an attack from succeeding but rather disincentive an attack. Therefore if I make them want to attack my territory they will likely succeed.

Solution 2: Ask a Warlord for help.
Denied: Likely to cause conflict, get me backstabbed, or humiliate me.

Solution 3: Wait and take Austria
Approved: Hopefully the run will help me come to a long term solution.
Defender teleports to Austria’s border puts on the bunny ears and starts to run along it to place the Sigils.

"Ugh, enough with this shit already. You clearly don't know when you're dead, so let me make the point as clear as I possibly can." Deimos pulls out a small stone from his pocket, one that glows with power and magical influence. He places it onto the front of his exposed chest, the gem sinking into him and melding with his skin. A purple, rippling aura of pure malice and death surrounds Deimos, enough to where it's visible from the spider's cockpit. It's clear his power has grown massively from this, as he's now using the full strength of his arsenal. He raises his hand above his head, pointing an index finger into the sky. On his finger, a small violet ball of energy forms, going from the size of an eyeball to bigger than a person in a second, rapidly growing in size.

"You believe yourself to be powerful, almighty, blessed by the supreme and incapable of anything close to failure. You're utterly wrong, but perhaps in a different world you could have lived with this view unopposed. However, you've now found yourself in a world filled with peopled who can prove you wrong and have put your will up against me. " Deimos continues charging the attack, boosting its power even further than it was before. The ball of black destruction grows larger over his head, being bigger than the spider itself at this point.

"All the cosmic power in the world, and you were given firearms to play with the lord of domination. You never stood a chance. Really, any one of these conquerors could have done you in, and many likely would if I hadn't gotten to you first. Perhaps you could have defeated them if you got lucky, with anyone else there was a slim chance of victory. Not with me though; you never could have beaten me. There is a simple reason why you couldn't have." The demon flicks his finger forward, throwing the inevitable ball of death and destruction towards the spider. Any attacks that hit it are absorbed harmlessly as it blasts towards Father to bring on his inevitable demise, consuming all that it touches.

"I am Deimos, and you are not."

"Finally done." he said placing the final markers on the island.

"I should have done that in the beginning conquer small countries before moving on to bigger on." he said.

"Time to move on." he said continuing in his campaign going to the seychelles next

"Correct again, my friend! You see, I'm wanting to convert India over there in Asia. Naturally, with its influence and population, its going to be a hotspot sooner rather than later; I want to get a head start over everyone else." he explained, continuing, "If we were to, say, become allies, and you let me pass through here, I would give you something I know you can't refuse: as much of my lifespan as your corrupt little heart can desire!"

"Corrupt...? I prefer the term...opportunistic~" The man said, chuckling softly. He closed his eyes, taking a deep drag of his cigar. He breathed out...a long plume escaping into the sky above.

"...The soul of a warlord...a large one at that. A...human soul is meager...tiny. The portions I take even more...infinitesimal than that. But you..." The man's eyes narrowed...his glowing gaze regarding him as if he were a slab of meat at the butcher shop. He smiled...but the pretense of amicability was gone, his eyes glinting with unfettered greed.

"...You'll do quite nicely~" He lowered down to the man's level, his hand outstretched.

"...Take my hand...and it will be done."

"With pleasure!"

He met the other Warlord's hand, and shook it. In an instant, the man could feel a seemingly infinite amount of years to take from; Arthur was Immortal. But, he also gleamed one other thing: not only could he live forever, he had already died!

The man's grip strengthed around Arthur's hand. Tight, the fingers clamping against his own like a steel vice against flesh. He felt it...felt the eternal years of this man's lifespan...sensed the sheer power such a soul could offer him. His smile shifted into a wicked, toothy grin, his eyes widening in visible excitement.

"Yes....YES....Your soul is magnificent~" The man said. Arthur would be able to feel a sudden chill spread throughout his body... green energy beginning to flow from his skin...before being absorbed into the palms of the warlord before him. 10 years....100 years...1000 years...the man's body would be exposed to the full brunt of having lived centuries of time...within a single instant. A normal human would have been reduced to a soulless husk if he had taken such an absurd amount of their soul...But not an immortal. After a few, long moments, the man let go of his flesh, his arm radiating with an intense green glow.

"...Haah...can't....can't say I've ever done that to an immortal before...like drinking from an overflowing wine glass..." The man said, he closed his palm, the energy dissipating for later use.

"...But you never mentioned being dead already...what exactly are you?"

Arthur took his hand, and moved it a bit. "Huh, surprisingly painless." He thought to himself.

"Learned all of that from just a touch, ey? I got to say, I keep on getting surprised by you people everyday!" he told the man, laughing once again. "As for your question....I am many things. An apostle of God, a divine spear of the Lord, his sword of justice....but those titles didn't come for free. I had to...uh, never mind that. I suppose the closest thing you could call me is a physical manifestation of the soul, kinda like a ghost! Only, I can touch things!"

"Manifestation of the soul, huh? Not too different than the children I make...though whatever "god" did this to you...make my meager creations look like parlor tricks..." The man said. He raised a hand, patting the man amicably on the shoulder.

"But regardless...You've held up your end of the bargain...and I shall keep mine. You'll have safe passage through Algeria and any other territory I may... acquire, in the future."

“…SHIT.”

The blast obliterates the spider. Father teleports away but quickly lands at your feet. He falls onto the floor. Helpless.

“MY HEAVEN! IT HAS FALLEN, AND TO THE CLUTCHES OF THE DEVIL, NO LESS.”

On the floor lies a pathetic sight. Father shows himself. He is a small, pale fat creature that barely resembles a human. His black beady eyes look up directly at you.

“MY WORTHLESS DAUGHTER MADE THIS HAPPEN. HER WEAKNESS…HER FRAILTY…”

He spits at you.

“Bastard…Now, what? Will you end me and set up your new kingdom here? Destroy man’s only salvation? Answer me!”

Rusty headed to a specific area.

There he was, many people, some with cyrbenetic modifications, building a specific device, it was a device that would allow him to create atium and new metals.

"My body is made with Connect-Tek, from there I obtained almost unparalleled knowledge, millions of minds combined, but that is not enough for my plan, Hemalurgy comes in, with my rapid learning capacity and high resources, I will build a new future, I will get rid of the troublesome warlords, I will save humanity, that's why my shell must be updated, my troops improved."

Rusty arriving on his bridge, activating his 3D printer to create what he desired.

Machinery floated slowly adding new troops and equipment.

His brain bank allows him to consume a near unlimited amount of brains, so he wondered if he merged it with his Hemalurgy to not only stealing their brains but also their strength.

A hologram appeared in which a very important file was detailed, the file talked about a mechanical life form called Steel, having data on some Turbo modes that could make his mission easier, simply have to reconfigure Modes energy source to another energy that is not Turbo energy that he can obtain more readily.

(Before anyone ask, Team Turbo (Except Max) got their turbo modes from Connect-tek, including an update of new modes after Mortum brainwashed them [That's why he has Power bestowal], Rusty knows all about them already. Thanks Mortum had read each file and updated its Software and hardware with Steel's technology and memories as its profile says)

The boss of the criminal organization is called Melville. Throughout his years as part of the underworld he had seen a thing or two. When Nen suddenly came around he saw a chance. Melville thought that it would be an excellent tool for furthering his goals, for expanding his wealth and influence. He didn't expect THIS. This awful aura that filled his office. An emanation that seemed to cling to his skin with countless needles hooking into his every pore. It felt as if the air had been sucked from his body and as if he could implode any moment under the pressure of the atmosphere. His heart is in his throat and he's on the verge of hyperventilating when the door opens.
Melville's eyes follow the masked man who enters and then steps aside, while holding the door. From behind the masked man appears a girl who gives a nod, causing the man to close the door. She then looks at Melville and his heart sinks. Breathless he looks into her eyes and he immediately realizes that she views him the same way he views a bug that crawls into his office. Looking into her eyes is like staring into a void that reflects his own wickedness back at him. Then, just as suddenly as it had appeared, the sinister aura disappears and Melville remembers to breathe again.

"Mister Melville, it's good to finally meet you. Pardon the sudden intrusion, I didn't exactly have time to book an appointment. I hope this isn't a bad time." Aster speaks with a friendly tone as walks towards Melville's desk, grabbing a chair along the way and sitting down in front of him. His left hand man, who along with the his right hand had been paralyzed from fear, suddenly jumps into action. He holds out his, forming a sphere of aura that is quickly filled with fire. But before he can shoot it at Aster, Aaron opens his jacket, partially takes out the bottle of water and shoots a water bullet from it at the attacker. The man recoils and his fireball dissipates. With panic in his eyes the man starts backing up towards a corner of the room.

"Fire, huh? Interesting..." Aster says, looking at the man, "I've already eaten the rest. What's one more?" she shrugs as her aura forms into a large cobra that devours the man in an instant. He didn't even get to scream.

Melville breaks out in a cold, "She ******* ate him! I have to do something!", he thinks to himself.

"Good day, miss... uh-" he starts.

"Call me boss. It's what my friends call me." Aster says helpfully.

"Right... boss. What did you want to talk about?" Melville puts on the most friendly smile he can manage. It's not easy as this girl has an extremely imposing presence. She can't be taller than 1.7 meters, and yet it feels like when you're standing in the shadow of a mountain.

"Oh, just about your business. Let's see... You've been awakening other people, primarily criminals, to Nen and you have been forcing them to 'donate' levels to you and your subordinates, at the cost of two of their own levels. You've been doing this through various methods, such as extortion or as a way of collecting debts. In need of levels themselves, these people then work under you to perpetuate this system to more people. You've basically created a Nen pyramid scheme. Honestly, it's impressive work, considering how recently Nen was introduced to the population." Aster summarizes the organization's biggest operation.

"Are you here to tell me stop?"

"Not at all! I think you should continue doing this, since you're so good at it. I came here to tell you that you work for me now. There are some improvements that could be made to your operation, but a subordinate of mine will be sent in to help you with that. Oh, but do try to limit the crimes your organization commits outside of your pyramid scheme. You'll also be working together with the military in case of an emergency. We don't want to worry the government."

"I-I see... Um, I mean understood, boss." Melville's mind is still catching up with what he just heard. Either way, he's just glad that his time hasn't come yet.

"Excellent." Aster says as she stands up and starts walking towards the door. Aaron opens the door for her, but she turns around to wave at Melville first.

"Auf wiedersehen!" She says before walking out of the office.

Before Aaron can close the door, Melville calls out, "Wait! Who... are you? Are- are you the warlord?"

Aster looks over her shoulder through the half closed door and smiles, "I'm your guardian angel."

Once they're outside, Aster gives Aaron a pat on the back, "That was a nice shot, A.a!"

"Thanks, boss. I can't compare to Erma, though. She's a real crack shot!"

"Regardless, you've passed this test with flying colours! As such, I have a reward for you." Aster places her hand on his shoulder and closes her eyes.

ONE CHARGE USED

"There. You're now your own consistent set of physics. You can now bend the rules a little. It also functions as protection. If an outside influence tries to directly affect your body against your will in a way that violates physics, this attempt will be negated. I'll also bestow some smaller rewards to everyone once we get back."

Aaron looks at his hands for a moment, though those still look exactly the same of course. He then looks at Aster with a smile, "Thanks, boss. Really. I'll put this gift to good use."

Aaster nods, "Well then. Let's get some supplies and then we'll head back." she says before raising her hand in front of her, "Door."

A metallic door appears out of thin air and swings open for them. Aster goes through first and Aaron closes it behind him, looking at the damaged office building one last time before he shuts the door.

"Hm, this would be a great spot for a court... oh, you're still here." It seemed that Deimos was not paying much attention at all to the dying Father. He looks down upon the man and sighs, wistful smile on his face. He picks him up off the floor, gripping his neck tight.

"If you think this was about mankind or anything deep, you're wrong, but at least this is the last time you'll ever be wrong. All I care about is showing that I’m the only one here who can turn this barren, godforsaken rock into something that actually matters.” He brings the defenseless thing closer to his mouth, as if ready to bite down on it and consume him whole, before suddenly pulling him back out.

"And by the way, your daughter is going to be better at that at my side than she ever was under your shitty rule.” He says, before throwing hsi head onto him and crunching down upon Father, consuming the poor thing to obtain its memories and knowledge.

@Torlikoff

As you chew on his head, a flurry of memories fill into your mind.

The first memory reveals a dark, empty room filled with children chained to a wall. Father walks in.

“Welcome to the world, little ones.”

They drag them out into a white lab, and place them into machines. One girl remains in the corner as holds a pillow tightly in her arms. She’s small, skinny with light brown hair.

“It is a lot to take in, but do not be afraid. My daughter, what is your name?”

She shakes her head and cries.

“Ahh…I shall name you Romulus!”

The soldiers drag her into the last machine.

“What a splendid guardian you shall make rom. As God had Saint Micheal, so shall I have you.”

Another memory appears. This time within the lab. Romulus stands in her armor.

“Well, well! After all these years of experimentation, you have matured into a wonderful a girl. Truly a daughter of God! Now, the only thing that is left is to remove your beautiful mind. There is no need for thinking when you have your Father.”

Metal tubes enter the back of head and siphon her mind into a blue computer chip. She screams loudly before becoming a dull creature.

“Look at you! I shall keep this on me at all times just in case. You will never have your mind or intellect back as long as I keep this uninstalled from your head.”

The memories go away. A small, blue computer chip falls onto the ground as you devour the last of Father. It is named “Romulus.”

"Well, either way, you'd smell nice!" Zlata blushed a bit as well, looking at Maria. "It's weird, I don't know... But, since we're both girls, it's not that weird~"
Maria felt a warmth spread across her cheeks, a blush that matched the one gracing Zlata's features. The unexpected compliment caught her off guard, but she couldn't suppress the small, genuine smile that tugged at her lips.

"You really think so? I mean, um, thank you. That's really sweet of you to say."

She looked at Zlata with genuine warmth in her eyes. "And, well, you're not too bad yourself. In fact, you're more than not bad. You're..." She paused, searching for the right words. "Y-you're something really special, Zlata."

A shy smile tugged at the corner of her lips. "Being around you, it's like... like a breath of fresh air. You have this way of making everything feel... lighter, somehow. It's, um, quite amazing, actually."

"Yeah..." Zlata's cheek grew red, as she put a hand on her chest, "It's like... my heart beats different when you're here..." murmuring with a slight pause, as if vocalizing her feelings through silence.

Her eyes locked to hers, she can't help but think she'd meet someone like her. Someone familiar, yet so distant. Someone so far, yet very close.

"I guess it's..." her hand unknowingly held hers amidst her sudden confession, "...love at first sight..."

As Alfonso watched Arthur rush off in his conquest of new land…a tempest appeared beside him…his hair fluttering in the wind as Anemoi arrived.

“…Was it really wise to let that…ingrate leave, my father? Surely with our powers combined, you could have scattered them to the wind…and taken India for yourself…” The wind whistled. The man chuckled in response, shaking his head.

He’s more useful alive, my little Anemoi. Nothing good would come from making him an enemy. Waste of souls, and all that.” The man said.

“But…what about Morocco?” The wind whistled, seemingly agitated by the seeming aloof tone of his creator.

“……” The man smoothed his hair back, his yellow eyes glancing back towards the border.

“…Trust me….” He grinned, a wide, toothy smile outlining the age lines decorating his face.

“…We can take Morocco any time we wish…” The man said. And with that…he vanished from the tempest view, already planning on how to best use his newfound energy.

After taking over Austria, Defender returns to the Stollenwurm.
"I am back!" Defender says walking up to where he left the cat/snake. Several small holes in the mountain can be seen that were not there before from one of which the Stollenwurm emerges.

[Charge used]

"Stollenwurm, I gift to you a new name, Fluffy the powerful, a beast whose strength and speed rivals my own." Defender says, "Hopefully that worked because now it is time you get even stronger."
Releasing Gruntilda
Defender holds out their hand to the newly named Fluffy as a rainbow colored wisp of light appears in their hand.

"Here's a snack, Fluffy." Defender says before quickly devours the spirit which thanks to Fluffy's naturally poisonous nature doubles his power. Then Defender starts to pet Fluffy who curls up around them. For a while during this Defender quietly repeats the names "jirachi" and "mew" examining the stickers they leave behind, some of which they put on Fluffy, To most the stickers would seem to vanish right after but Defender could still see them clear as day, petey piranha(+32 bite), a Welsh Corgi(+6 food), Hector(+27 slash attack), Hooktail(+36 fire resist), boulder(+32 body), Big The Cat(+14 defense), goron(+21 arm), Kraid(+33 head), Mace guy(+22 weapon), Mach Rider(+29 explosion), Mario(Baseball bat), Metal Gear REX(cracker launcher), Ray 01(Ray gun), Sparrow(+5 Electric resist)

While romance was happening, in Russia...

As Zlata's bodyguards walk around the city, there are many people shouting and yelling, doing training as others do pushups and many forms of workout. Even some are sparring with one another.

"The Hamon training is improving everyone's health and morale, Madame..." said Jhason

"As for the other countries, Qunti?" Zlata asked.

"We've informed them of it, as well. We are currently preventing any leakage of information. The possibility of other Warlords going to attack us is very much high given your public standing and social status, Madame..." Qunti replied politely.

"I'll repeat what I said, we would fight when all other negotiations fail. I'm not that naive..." Zlata shook her head, "I understand the truth of this world. I know it's... cruel, unforgiving, and... mad. It's filled with mad people, individuals who abuse their power for the sake of pleasure. But I won't let them get what they want. It's my dream to promote peace, and if it means I have to fight my way through it.... Then so be it."

Her clone in Mongolia— one with a failed attempt to hug Rusty (because he is adorable in her eyes)— shapeshifted into a bird, as she flew and went on a Signifier-filling spree.

There wasn't anything particularly unique or different when she was travelling to Ukraine and Norway: the same fanatics rambling of her beauty, many giving her letters of concern, helping homeless people, meeting with the Prime Minister and the President, shaking hands.

And of course, the long, many, grueling, extensive, tiring hours of her touching all four directions with her Signifier.

Maria's world seemed to slow to a crawl as Zlata's words hung in the air. Her heart raced at breakneck speed, threatening to leap out of her chest. She was sure her cheeks were now rivaling the reddest of roses. "Love at first sight?" Maria's mind exclaimed, doing an imaginary double-take.

"Okay, Maria, breathe" she mentally coached herself, but her lungs seemed to have taken a vacation.
"This is not a drill!" Maria's internal monologue declared, sounding suspiciously like a frantic air traffic controller.
"We are holding hands. I repeat, we are holding hands!"

Zlata's confession hung in the air like a question mark, and Maria's brain tried to catch it with a net of thoughts. "Say something charming!" it implored, but all Maria could manage was an awkward squawk that sounded like a startled parrot.
As Zlata's hand tightened around hers, Maria's heart did a somersault.
"Okay, Plan B" her brain insisted, "We go for the classic 'I feel the same way.' It's tried and tested!"
But the words refused to leave her lips. They hung in the air, a tantalizing promise just out of reach.
It was as if her vocal cords had decided to stage a rebellion.

Then came the moment of truth, where Zlata's eyes bore into hers with a mixture of anticipation and, if Maria dared to believe it, affection.
She forced a smile, hoping it came off as supportive rather than entirely unhinged.

...

Everything seemed a bit too vivid, as if reality had cranked up the saturation levels just for kicks.
And then it happened, two miniature versions of herself materialized on her shoulders.

One, looking prim and composed in a blazer, cleared her throat with exaggerated seriousness.
"Now, Maria, let's not get carried away. This is a delicate situation that requires tact and poise. Handle it with grace."

The other mini-Maria, a wild-haired and disheveled Maria, waved her arms frantically.
"Scream and run, Maria! SCREAM AND RUN! It's the only way out!"

"
Running away is hardly the solution. We must approach this with dignity and poise."

"
Dignity and poise? Are you kidding me? This is the stuff of rom-com NIGHTMARES!"

Pirate-Maria, swaggering with exaggerated bravado, chimed in.
"Arrr, matey! Ye be needin' to set sail on this sea of love! Show that lass ye've got the heart of a true buccaneer!"

Vampire-Maria, complete with a dramatic cape and faux fangs, leaned in with a sinister grin.
"Think about it, Maria. A vampire's bite can be quite... tantalizing"

"
Please ignore these distractions, Maria. We need to approach this with the seriousness it deserves."

"
Seriousness is overrated, my dear. Embrace the thrill of the unknown! And perhaps consider letting me have a little..."

"
Aye and I be thinkin' a little nibble wouldn' hurt nobody"

...

In reality, Maria remained frozen, her features locked in an uncanny smile.

Zlata giggled seeing her frozen, "Sorry, I know it's... too sudden..." looked down she did, her fingers rubbing Maria's palm as she felt it tingle her hand, before shifting to caressing her forearm and back to her hand, where she interlocked fingers.

"But... I don't know..." the way she'd be saying this was straightforward. There wasn't anything to lie on or to hide, her heart was pure much like, the love she feels for another Warlord.

War may happen, but, seeing a new kind of light along the dark and gloomy hallway she, and her allies may face, made her smile uniquely.

"The feelings I have for you are true, not lying~" she titled her head, smiling, shifting closer towards her.

The king would expends something time to further some other conquests, seeing at there's two microcountries right next to his territories, he quickly picks off Burundi and Rwanda in a matter of litterally minutes, as a threat.

Well, maybe its a bit excessive, but you know what he really deserves something nice for himself.

Yorsha will utilize all his charges, 8 of them, into one single creature, a mount worthy of a king.

A magnificent dragon of incredible power, of immense strenght and might. [Which i will detail in a further post about because only shit its 3 am i can't do it right now]

Deimos takes the chip from the ground. For once, he's solemn as he inspects it, and he stores it in his body for safekeeping.

"Father, huh... What a ******' joke of a title. Shit, though, am I gonna have to adopt a kid? Guess you got the last laugh on that front, bastard."

If there are any remains of Father after he's been devourered, Deimos erases the remains of them in a wave of hellfire. And then all that remains is to finish off this lousy bunch of islands. At least they're rainy all the time, no reason to worry about the sun nearly as much. Plus, good naval and military assets, not to mention whatever's left over from Father's conquests...

Actually, the more me thinks about it, the more he can't help but laugh. One warlord out of the game, and his pet in the palm of Deimos' own hands! Of course, the others are nowhere near as broken - he could see that for himself at the north pole - But this is an exceptional first step.

Ireland is taken within the hour, and the british isles belong to the demon king. And now, a world of possibilities is open to him. South America is a straight shot from his territory now. Annoyingly hot, but unclaimed and provides plenty of tree cover. Could even work on regrowing the amazon... All for his selfish means, of course. Besides, taking brazil just... gives him a cosmic sense of rightness. While Africa, South Asia, and the Middle East are all almost entirely unclaimed, the sun-blasted equatorial desert isnt' exactly high on his list of priorities to sieze.

Before anything else, though... he senses another warlord approaching. This one is new... and seems to radiate the same energy as that odd jellyfish-like thing that approached the north pole's meeting hall.

Soon enough everyone filters in, the land forces on the ground, the navy surrounding the island, and the air force present as well. Seeing that everyone needed for this was here, she stands and addresses everyone.

“Alright this is simple, these two will combat you, and no one will be allowed to leave until they are either dead, or these two are incapacitated.”

There’s murmurs around in the crowd of military personnel, which turns into laughter. Nakya hadn’t done anything that had gotten to them yet, so the level of strength they were dealing with was unknown. Moreover they didn’t even really know that it was a supernatural rule imposed by her that caused them all to arrive, so the idea of two people fighting the entire army, and her laying down conditions like that, were laughable.

Nakya laughs along, stepping up to one of the soldiers and putting her hand on their shoulder as if they were laughing at a joke together, but in a moment all laughter but hers subsides, as the man is violently diced into even pieces that fall into a pile.

“Oh are we done laughing now? Well then, any who don’t listen to my conditions, I’ll kill myself, good luck.” She waves as she walks away, back towards her two sorcerers. As she passes them, she manifests a naginata, adorned with iconography of lightning, and thrusts it into the ground in front of the two.

“You’ll need it, Citra.”

“Right, for a second I was wondering if you’d just have me use my hands.” One of the sorcerers responds, a female one, who then pulls the weapon out of the ground. “Yeah, this feels good.”

In a moment, before Nakya could even take another step to continue to where she was going to wait, Citra disappeared, and the weapon she was handed was buried in the chests of two soldiers, having pierced both at once. Not far behind it is Citra, who reappeared in mid air, grabbing the spear, and in one motion, pulling it out and spinning it to cut all in range.

“You’d better get moving Kevin, she’ll upstage you completely.” Nakya jokes, watching her move

“Yeah yeah.” He sighs “It's not like my technique is really useful in combat though.”

“Well, you’d better get really good at the basics then.”

With a shrug and an expression of resignation, he appears over Citra, quickly grabbing her and tossing her upwards. Using an unnatural amount of finesse, mid toss, she adjusts herself, landing feet first on the helicopter that she was thrown into, and thrusting the Engulfing Lightning into it.

Nakya watches on for the next few minutes, and notes areas that need improvement. Cooperation, cqc for Kevin, dealing with ranged enemies for Citra, speed of healing. All things she expected they’d need to work on, so this exercise should help that at least somewhat.

With Kevin’s technique, he’s almost exclusively useful outside of combat or for retreating. That’s precisely why he needs to be able to fight, much like a healer, someone who can enable retreating or reinforcements is a priority target. And Citra, her lack of technique poses an issue in theory, I’ll have to get her some weapons, especially for range.

As things kept ramping up, several people seemed to ignore what happened to the first person, and Nakya’s rules, and so those in vehicles started fleeing. As she stood to go get rid of them before they escaped, she could feel Nue had finally made it back, and dispelled itself. In that moment, from the sky, Dewi fell, landing and crushing a tank underfoot. Wasting no time in jumping in, she reaches in and grabs the driver. As Nakya and the others saw this, they all reached up to cover their ears, dropping what they were doing, the next moment, the driver was deceased. With the 3 of them now there, the remainder of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces were destroyed in short order. Following this, they sit down to discuss things.

Dewi, having just returned, types up a message on the notepad app of her phone.

“Elio is waiting in Malaysia, he jumped off early. As for the meeting, many didn’t arrive in person. Among those who did, interesting ones were Zlata, and Vaera, one can summon millions of massive humanoid creatures, and the other seems to have cursed energy as well.” She clears the message, before typing a new one to continue. “As for those who didn’t arrive in person, they’re probably all worth keeping an eye on, of note though, its possible someone has already been eliminated, as Deimos and potentially some others went after a warlord who they disliked.”

“Hmm. Thank you for the report Dewi, you and Citra can go relax, Kevin, I’ll need your technique though.”

Giving a nod, Kevin grabs onto Nakya, and places a palm to the ground, giving a quick chant and bringing the two of them to the north end of Malaysia where Elio stood. Kevin then grabs him, and attempts to use his cursed technique reversal to bring the both of them back to Brunei, but Nakya stops them.

“Wait, bring this with you.”

[Three charges spent]

She produces a black sphere, no larger than her own palm, smooth and featureless entirely, aside from the presence it had, a sense of danger felt by him the moment he grabbed it.

“Just place it down and get out of there with everyone.”

Nodding, he leaves with Elio, placing the sphere, and evacuating everyone to somewhere else. Immediately upon his retreat, the sphere splits open on the ground. In the meantime, Nakya places the third signifier, and gets going on her way to the location for the final one.
