Unpopular Opinions and (Friendly) Rant thread

So one thing I have to say is - the game is a solid 7.5/10. Used to be 8 but then the ending got kinda wacky with the plotlines.

First of all - Story:
The story is kinda convoluted and way too long. Individually the stories of each protag are interesting, though personally I wasn't as invested into Shinada's substory. I liked it, but it wasn't gripping enough for me.
First of all let's get over the bad.
-The ending is convoluted, while I can sorta understand the main villain's plan I still find it weird, there's obvious twists and characters that simply didn't need to be there. The warden and the guys didn't need to stop Baba imo, it was way too cartoony for them to suddenly show up outta nowhere. Aizawa's motivations are dubious, though that might've been intentional. Then again, this brings into question what tf he was doing in the Florist's tournament trying to find info on Morinaga even though...he is the one who murked him. I get Haruka too but I feel like she treated the T-set girls unfair, maybe finishing the song would've been the better play, but idk how idol concerts work so it might've been her only chance.
-Saejima was weird. "Oh I don't care, Majima died because he was weak" "Oh I will just let Baba go even though he knows who the villain is and I could've just dropped his ass twenty times til he told me but we're such good buds I'll just let em go" "Oh I will go punch Majima" like bruh wtf is his conviction? What does this man believe? Does he just let shit happen? Maybe there is a good explanation but I ain't seeing it.
-The whole baseball thing came out of nowhere and didn't feel connected enough to the story. Sure, Daigo managed to track down who the villain is through it but I think it wasn't clear enough how he connected the dots.
-Not enough Majima
-Why tf did Shinada fight Baba? They could've both just dipped.
-Shinada fighting Daigo to go to Tokyo only to have to go back was weird af.
-Why didn't the Osaka Entertainment prez guy just murk Kanai?

Now for the good:
-Kiryu's story was awesome, the 100 men brawl was so hype
-Saejima's story was alright but his hunting story was actually amazing, even if the final fight felt a bit too short
-Haruka and Akiyama's plotline was amazing as well
-Shinada's story was very intriguing
-Most characters are fleshed out well and you get well attached to them. I empathized with the characters and got attached to them, even if it was just some loan shark or old man yakuza guy and his gopnik goon.
-The Omi captains were very cool and made the Omi Alliance look actually competent since last time we fought them it was just one guy with a sword and a billion korean goons (also that one dude who was dripped out and owned a castle and the one guy that got shot immediately)
-The substories were fun and often very creative.
-The main villain was actually sorta unexpected for me. I had my suspicions by process of elimination but it was still rather unexpected.
-Haruka's conclusion felt good, really good.
-Park was a complex character who was somehow both lovable and hatable at the same time.
-Christina is based. Just imo.

So overall I have specific parts that I have complaints with but the overarching plot is great.

Gameplay:

The bad:
-Enemies grab you too often which is annoying when you're trying to practice moves
-Enemies love blocking hits from you at the very beginning of the fight which breaks the tempo
-Enemies appear waaaaaay too often and you have to fight a bunch every time, not to mention the backup calls
-Enemies sometimes spawn like a solid 20m away from where you're fighting and you have to look for them
-Kiryu......actually I have no issue with Kiryu's combat style, his dropkick is kinda useless but that's it
-Saejima's style felt a bit restricted. While Kiryu had his crazy drops and parries Saejima felt a bit rough. Maybe I missed something?
-Akiyama is a bit underpowered against bosses
-Most bosses pre-finale are disappointing
-All Kanai fights are annoying because he is the perfect counter to Akiyama, making it a pain to fight him
-Final Kanai fight is actual cancer
-Shinada without weapons is annoying to handle, his only infinite dura weapons are super underpowered, every fight felt slow
-Taxi minigame missions where you have to follow a car are a pain
-Bears teleporting behind you in the hunting game is not ideal and I am not a fan of the health drain mechanic
-Haruka's dance battles have a sharp difficulty curve where you go from clicking 3 of one button, 3 of another and then switch to another side to do the same...to multitasking several sides where you go XYXXYB click right immediately to go into another YYXB or some shit like that and its just Class B. I gave up trying to handle these. I am not good at rythm games and never was.
-Platinum plate only costing 50k yen more than a gold one is BS.
-Iron plates are freaking useless
-Grinding Victory Road encounters was annoying
-The noble dude's fight was annoying
-Aizawa had too many health bars and blocked too much to the point where I could barely hit him and had to T-drop him a bunch
-Some heat actions were unnecessarily too long
-Fighting Baba as Shinada is annoying and is too easy as anyone else

The good:
-Kiryu feels amazing to control compared to Y3 and 4, heck, even kiwami 2 I'd argue.
-Saejima's hits felt heavy and powerful, not to mention the swinging thing was fun
-The ultimate attacks in general were fun
-Heat actions finaly started feeling like HEAT ACTIONS
-Weapons feel good to use finally
-Taxi game and racing were super fun
-Hunting game was very fun and unique
-All the dancing stuff and events for Haruka were so fun
-There were SO MANY EXTRA MINIGAMES. Snowball fights, Ramen cooking...they just kept giving us fully fledged games inside games.
-Club Sega games were fun
-I liked the photography substory
-Playing as Haruka and having a peaceful time was amazing
-The games were overall just better than before
-Darts were finally fun.
-Aizawa fight was pretty decent
-Majima fight was hype af
-The 100 man beatdown against Tojo was absolutely fantastic
-Tournaments are fun

Overall: There is the good and there's the bad but overall it was very fun despite the nitpicks or actual issues.

Misc:
-General battle music was too repetitive
-Boss music was good
-Haruka music was peak
-The aesthetics of the game were beautiful
-Hokkaido was magical
-Every city felt as alive as Kamurocho
-The vibes were truly nice.

So as I said before, 7.5/10, wasn't perfect but it was a good experience overall.

Read it if you wish

I am just waiting for less political posts on every website. Otherwise it's just a clownshow for me
At first, I was kinda interested to see how things would play out, especially after seeing the announcement Joe made that he's stepping out of office, but after seeing how ignorant, braindead, insane, and politically addicted a lot of people are, I realized that politics will never be for me.

I pray to God I will never end up being as miserable as someone who's addicted to politics.

Dude if Trump wins Benson's gonna be so pissed

I had to specifically search for bdsm bondage naming conventions to find a name that doesn't immediately give it away
I dunno man, this is the first time I hear about frogtie and it's coming from the writings of a russian christian. During No Nut November too... crazy...

God, I'm gonna get reported so bad for this.

When Bambu or whoever comes in here to tell us all to calm down, this was not my fault.
