Which he could've done with the light thingy. If anything, it already being in his plan sorta contradicts it being an under super specific-circumstances thing.

According to you he could've just done the light thingy when becoming Omega Flowey to just skip the need to have Frisk's. Plus Flowey had to manipulate Frisk into going to the True Lab so Alphys could release the Amalgamates, and he won't do his soul plan unless you do this, which clearly proves total soul absorption was the final result.

Asgore is always dead by the time he goes Omega Flowey so it wouldn't work by that point (Neutral routes usually have a more than just Asgore dead too).
I really don't see what the rest has to do with him being surprised over other monsters appearing to protect Frisk.

It’s for a play too. He gives everyone a false hope before suddenly calling everyone idiots and destroying said hope. It is in character for him too, he did the same as Omega Flowey.
Like, he could have absorbed them anytime, yk.

Asgore only dies because of Flowey's own actions, he could easily just capture him once he's at low health.

The rest is just proof absorbing all monsters was always the endgame post Omega Flowey, since he wouldn't gain anything by releasing the Amalgamates.
 
Both Kris and Susie have the feat of falling nearly 200 meters at the beginning of Chapter 1 when they fall into the closet (9-B dura).

Question: is this a light world Kris and Susie feat or a dark world Kris and Susie feat?

Conclusions:

Hots Flamesman (Or whatever their name is.) seems to experience pain from having a snowflake touch its tongue.

A line from someone who's name is censored contains the "word" "Pebbaroni".

We know where Chapter 3 is & there's no way testers have access to beyond Chapter 4, so to me, this seems like confirmation that Ice-E is real.

Supposedly, the testers find the game to have long but fun segments between chances to Save. But Toby has also, IIRC, noted that the testers seem to have difficulty with the game & disregarded such complaints of difficulty because of low skill floor amongst testers.

Only console-related aspects remain for Chapter 3, Toby says.

Someone talks to Susie in a cutesy voice & says they like her, too.
I doubt this is Noelle being cutesy, as she usually seems too reserved & Susie tells the speaker to knock it off.

The line given as "Inferno,&Inferno!" is translated to Japanese as 燃え上がれ!, which Google Translate translates as "Burn it up!".
Since the both "Inferno"s are capitalized, it seems like these are proper nouns, AKA the names of characters, places or important things. This is a weird sentence. The self-introduction of 1 or more character(s) in a dramatic scene? Weird spell casting? Something else, like a joke?
& the filename says CH4.
Which is confusing because that means it's unrelated not only to Ch3 with its weather duo, but also which seems certain to include Toriel, who we've all been expecting to use fire magic.

The pizza related one has "ch3-error" in the filename.
If Ch3 takes place in the living room, why is there Pizza Scent & talk of "Pebbaroni"?!
Do we go into the kitchen's freezer & find a frozen pizza?!
Again: Ch3 has the pizza stuff, Ch4 has "Inferno,& Inferno!".

Another excerpt has Susie, seemingly talking to Lancer, say she can punch a hole in dry wall. A shame saying it to Lancer means she's probably saying it in Dark World form. No feat for Light World Susie....

Lancer claims he'll someday do the same for her.

Berdly invites someone to the festival. His Japanese uses "ai" which means love, so it's probably someone he has strong feelings for. Susie?

Elnina's Japanese line says something about the moon being pretty, despite the English line saying she read the tag saying that the addressee is the moon.
So it seems like just fancy flirting, I guess?

Sega used The World Revolving as an example of what kind of song they wanted Toby to make for his collab with Camellia. The song's got some real reput, eh?

Someone also mentioned something about LW Berdly's portraits using numbers, but DW Berdly's portraits using letters, & Berdly's festival invitation dialogue uses EJ.
Which indicates Berdly being in another Dark World, apparently??

Unless they change the portrait system going forward.

I just want this year to end already, I'm sick and tired of it, 3 good things happened to me this year, I played Yakuza, I got a gamepad and I learned to cook. The rest has been mostly shit. Can't even get a single game that I am actually super invested into to release on time.
 
We are getting closer & closer to the connection of Noelle being a metaphor for the ANGEL, & I feel something is going to come out of it.

Sans ain’t my favorite, Flowey/Asriel is, and Undertale is so outdated that the fandom is still alive and it has new AUs every year since its existence.
There are even relatively recent YT videos where people play it for the first time.
And I’m happy with it.

I hate how every newsletter in few words are all "you were waiting for new DR content? well, it's not ready yet". It's been like this for 2 years at this point.

I mean, Toby said they will be released in 2025 a few weeks ago, so the worst-case scenario is the chapters releasing in December 2025
If I waited 3 years I can wait 1 more year + Imo the chapters will either release Mid 2025 or in Undertale´s 10th birthday
 
Ya'll acting like babies complaining that Deltarune is taking time. Would you rather Toby release it ahead of schedule and the game sucks?? He works day by day on this game in conjunction with his personal life and is extremely passionate about his work, more so than most other game developers I've seen. I will gladly wait longer for Deltarune as long as the released product is up to standard.

Also I massively disagree with the take that newsletters are just Toby saying the chapter progress is going well. He gives details like literally confirming when an entire chapter is finished, and the main substance of the newsletters is not status updates anyways.
