Ngl I do think my goat W.D. gaster is the one who lead Jevil and Spamton to insanity, but as it stands that shit is head canon and kinda pointless to bring into a revision. Bro influenced the player to do snowgrave though true!

I can make an essay on why Spamton alone would obliterate every UT character (except Flowey/Asriel) writing wise, plus its genocide run is x300 better.

Genocide and Snowgrave also hit hard in different ways so hard to compare I’m ngl, Deltarune will be definitively better but rn I think Undertale still has a lot going for it theme and lore wise (although Deltarune game mechanics >>>>>>>….)

His weapon based attacks like his ki blast should at least upscale imo, 3x could make sense considering when he was in base he was fighting even to Kris but in NEO he was fighting even to all 3 members of the FUN gang, but then you would have to question who is 3x and who isn’t based on this line of reasoning. It just means his weapon based attacks are just 3x stronger on bro.

It's not that Deltarune is good, it's that Undertale is bad. I oppose games that try to shame you for doing stuff the game allows you to do
And the whole "Woo woo don't kill the child killers dude! Self-defense is le bad!" mentality is stupid. Self-defense is part of my American rights. "Bu-but you have to le die for the greater good!" I have a gun in my pocket.
That, and Toby made the genocide route grindy and boring on purpose just to lock a lot of the lore and the best bosses in the game behind it. Gameplay should always stand above the plot because it's a GAME firstmost not a movie or whatever. At some points, the game feels like it's just trying to preach stupid morals to you while sacrificing the goodness of the gameplay.
That and Undertale fans turned me into a furry as a kid. I fell in love with Toriel and Undyne. Those are my most disappointing moments in all of my life and I look back in cringe.

I've seen a shit tons of Undertale and somehow most of this is just wrong, I'm not a game designer and it's mostly opinions with nothing else, so I'm gonna mainly focus on the second paragraph
Game never says self defense is bad, like ever, only time it really does is if you kill a shit ton of people who A. Probably don't know you're a human, or B. Are literally just expressing themselves with bullet patterns like most monsters.
Also, you're a Godlike entity who can manipulate time, you're in no true danger literally ever in the game outside of two fights, the game says that with such power you should be responsible and not fukin murder people

you're supposedly not just "huh I have to defend myself!", you're pretty much an omnipotent entity that is using this immortal child who just can't die, and basing on that you have the power to shape the fate of these monsters.
Their happiness or suffering is depending on you, as well as your actions having consequences, regardless of the power you have.
So stop using school shooting mentality, it's embarrassing as ****.
