I personally think both are great games, Deltarune isn't as good for me but it's been a bit since I've played it, maybe I'll like it better on a second go around and now tih Chapter 2

Frisk being a godlike entity changes nothing. They're still a kid and the monsters are willing to hurt, sacrifice and murder that thing, Frisk. By that same reasoning you could start arguing that hurting kids is fine as long as they're strong.

Multiple problems
1: monsters show feelings and express through bullet patterns and most barely even know you're human, they are kinda just messing around
2: there's a difference between a strong child and what's pretty much a timelord with godly powers
Not saying the monsters are perfect but they definitely don't deserve to be slaughtered over it

I'll be expressing my feelings through bullet patterns with literal bullets.
Either way, they end up killing the player if he gets hurt too much. Assaulting a stranger is still grounds for self defense even if it's a joke, especially if you're going to kill that stranger accidentally.

Look man, I wouldn't shoot a child even if they could save my race from slavery or whatever (The monsters have pretty much normal lives in the underground, it isn't bad enough to warrant killing a child to escape)
But even if I had a "Kill a child to save the many, to save my race from... Being mildly uncomfortable underground" mentality, I would expect that child to fight back, and they would be in their whole human righted rights to do so.
Only the hostile ones deserve to die. And Alphys, especially Alphys. Solely because I hate her. There's no deep moral reasons to why I want Alphys to die, I just do.

Flowey is lowkey my favorite Undertale character. I like his aesthetics, powers and personality a lot. He might be literally me but I haven't played Undertale nor watched a gameplay in 10 years.

Undertale is also way more replayable compared to Deltarune from what I saw and heard on DR. Music from UT is way more iconic and better. Not gonna touch characters/plot until I play it myself ig.

I can't count. I can't remember the exact date but I watched videos of all Undertale routes as a kid, I was obsessed with the game. Now I kinda cringe when looking at those times. But I am glad I had Undertale, not Skibidi toilet.

Sorry but having people having blinders and say "NOOO UT WILL BE BETTER THAN DR NO MATTER WHAT!" is just not something I like, especially given the implication that Toby became a terrible writer after making UT.

Deltarune (All Chapters) >>>> Undertale >>>> Deltarune Chapter 2 >>>>>>>>> Deltarune Chapter 1
Chapters 3 & 4 will probably release in a few months so we´ll be able to analyze and compare the two games better

That's one thing.
But arguing out of sheer ignorance is not something I like.
I respect the opinion of someone who played both and still prefers UT, as at least I know that they experienced the full thing.
Another is not playing DR and calling it a mid game anyway because huh... no Sans?
