How would Ultimecia turn into Zamasu? Zamasu never has been shown of 'possesing' people.

Ultimecia can likely just absorb him and call it a day.

Time Compression is likely, universal time absorption.

If we accept both are omnipresent, then we need to consider who is better with what abilities.

And Ultimecia's time compression is also void manipulation in a way.

In her final battle, she stated that she that time will compress and existence will be denied. and also she would send the main party to another dimension beyond their understanding.

Sure, chalk it up to the big boss bragging, but her point stands. All Zamasu did was merge into a timeline and he was promptly turned into nothing by Zeno.

It is likely anyone of his level or beyond it that can wipe a timeline or control it with a sufficient degree can kill him.

Ultimecia has the statements and the power to back it up.

I think Occam's Razor best applies here.

If both characters with similar abilities, with similar power and similar strength are to be pitted, we should go with the one with least assumptions on who will win.

As such, Zamasu has never been shown to erase people out of existence or possess someone on a lower scale.

Ultimecia can likely, since even if we set aside statements, her control of 'time' is generally greater then someone who at best was effecting a timeline.

She is aware of multiple 'timelines'.

I say Ultimecia takes with 'Time Compression'.

She can just either

A. Erase Zamasu out of existence and call it a day via time compression.

B. Transmute or Possess him into anything she wants and also call it a day.

His only saving grace he is likely immune to time paradoxes, so he would have to be killed in the present and future, which Ultimecia should be capable of doing.
