Speed Equalized. Both in character, but Ultear is fighting to kill and Shichika is not suicidal. Victory via incap or death.

What happens when these orbs hit someone, and how skilled is she with using them?

They are just blunt force attacks. I'd say she is pretty skilled since she directs them with telekinesis, forms dozens of copies at the drop of a hat, can fix them mid flight if they get damaged and tags Natsu easily despite him having experience against homing ranged attacks and attacks from below.

Okay. Shichika's precognition works better the more skilled an opponent is with their attack, but I'm not sure if that would apply to spells or just weapons and martial arts.
