The Greatest Servant in FGO vs The Most Powerful Servant lore wise (Merlin vs Gilgamesh)

>Most powerful servant in Grand ****** I will drop that joke the day I die

>6-C at absolute peak

The joke is that Merlin is an absolute beast gameplay wise, buffing your team while still dishing out heavy damage to the enemies, and is widely considering one of the best possible servants you can have in a team.

Speaking of which, I need to grind for quartz to roll for him.

I actually got him lol. He inspired this match. Imma be spamming him in selibration of his release. I think he can get a good few wins

Didn't Merlin say he cannot die since he's an Incubus? i remember recalling that when he was gonna get Smashed by Gorgon, he can keep coming back as long he's not killed in the realm of the dreams.

Black Barrels don't even kill something that just doesn't have the same concept of death as earth. All Gun God's better version did in Notes was destroy Type:Venus's physical form and make her come back as an angel thing later.

Anyway, Merlin has transcended death in its entirety. Pretty sure they can't kill him. There's also the thing where Merlin cannot die in any future that may come to pass, which given the infinite (at least before culling starts) possible futures of Nasuverse, should include futures where Merlin encounters Black Barrels or Gilgamesh or such.

Wait, wait, wait...

His true self is confined in the Avalon, but you mean the same Avalon that she has?

So it's basically Low 1-C immortality?

But they can kill the types tho, and they work by the same function as the scriptures. They do, in fact, apply a concept of death

I see. Then he should have resistence to conceptual manipulation

<Gilgamesh

<BFR

What?

Also conceptual weaponry doesn't beat Low 1C immortality unless they have feats of doing so

No, I mean that he can incap the current one. Like Phantasm Punishment can incap the lower, even if not the higher form

Also yeah, he has Pilgrimage of The 500 Arhat. Wait nvm, forgot he cant use that

Actually, being erased conceptually sorta would beat that out, if they have no feats of reintroducing concepts.

It brings the setting back to before your origin entered the world. Essentially you no longer have your conceptual basis from which you are built around

I'm not making anything up. It says in the guides that it reveals the primordial earth, before one's origin entered the world. Its Christmas Eve and I'm on mobile, but I'll probably send later

Yes you are. Ea reveals the Earth's true form (when it was covered in magma and gas) by cutting space through it's space-time dislocation. It doesn't "bring the setting back to before your origin entered the world".
