I still prefer option A, but fine with option B.

Well, if we cannot reach a conclusion here, we will likely have to remove the feat and statistic from Superman's page, in lack of better options.

Uh, a bunch of staff members are already putting in their votes above, that doesn't look like not reaching a conclusion.

I'm still soundly B

No?
Why wouldn't we simply go with the option accepted by majority
We've had several staff voice their opinions for both sides and several blue names, that's by no means inconclusive and your decision to remove the feat in light of that simply caves into Option A

I agree with this sentiment. Like I've already stated, we are indeed inching towards a conclusion as the staff members are finally starting to put in their thoughts. It just needs more staff to engage. That's all.

A: Giving the 1-A World Forger a black eye from some sun dips, that have never remotely powered up Superman to anywhere near this degree previously, is a ridiculously extreme outlier that is irreconcilable with the overall narrative of the character, as he could have ended virtually every single world-threatening conflict that he has ever been involved in with extreme ease otherwise.

B: Very special circumstances were in effect here. More specifically, Mxyzptlk had imbued Superman with power for years in order to send him to the 6th Dimension, which is a higher order of existence, and Superman then powered up further via 6th Dimensional stars, created by a wishing machine, and this should be specified in a special statistics key in his character profile page.
I suggest these be put in the OP for easier navigation so that the Staff can properly weigh in their thoughts and not get clouded by 5 pages of banter that has taken months to conclude.

I think we need a renewed vote count, a few members reverted to Option B I think.

@Confluctor Would be so kind as to put the options above in your OP and make a vote tally?

Those staff members technically still prefer option A. Like myself, they are just at a point where we want this thread to end and reach a conclusion, and I also asked them nicely. And if we check the original tally, three bureaucrats, two administrators, and one thread moderator prefer option A, so again, it seems like we cannot reach a conclusion here, and likely have to remove the current 2-A/really 1-A statistic..

No
Literally only Medusa mentioned a sentiment like that in their comment, rest who commented again strictly picked one option

I'm sorry, what? No, they don't.

Elizhaa (Admin) chose B.

I (CGM) chose B.

Firestorm (Thread Mod and DC Supporter) shifted to B

Confluctor (Thread Mod and DC Supporter) is still on B

Impress (Thread Mod) is still on B

LordGriffin (Admin) chose B

Tllmbrg (Content Mod) chose B.

Qawsedf (Admin) chose B

The above members are staff. I am staff

DDM (Super Admin) said he had no problems with B going through even though he personally chose A.

Only you, AKM, Promestein (Three bureaucrats) and SomebodyData (One Admin) chose A.

No

Yes, the people who previously selected A did not mention anything further, but they did do so previously, and only picked B because I asked them to help us put an end to this discussion.

Okay cool and?
They chose B, if they don’t support B then they shouldn’t do that

If ending the discussion means “let’s rush this so we can just nuke the Key no questions asked” I’d rather keep it going
I’m sorry but in what world does voting for an option mean that you don’t support it?

And guess what? B outnumbers them via staff alone, even more so with normal users on the list.

See my last post. Here is the original tally:
A: Antvasima, AKM sama, DarkDragonMedeus, Firestorm808, Promestein, SomebodyData, (Jibz)

B: Elizhaa, KLOL506, The_Impress, Qawsedf234, LordGriffin1000, Confluctor, Tllmbrg, (Kulf_Boba), (Greenshifter), (XXKINGXX69), (Hellbeast), (Bobsican), (Pikaman)

Neutral to Both: Damage3245

Yes, I find the very notion of voting for something they don't agree in to be completely absurd. This is not something we should be forcing people to do quickly, but rather we should take our time and let them vote out of their own volition based on what side of the argument they think works out the best.

Okay cool and?
My point is simply to express that plenty of staff have been giving opinions so we shouldn't just rush the discussion and nuke the key without further discussion
It's to specifically express the folly of that idea; not strictly to argue one is better rather then the other nor should anyone be forced to vote for an option they don't desire

Frankly that's putting words in my mouth

And guess what? B outnumbers them via staff alone, even more so with normal users on the list.
My apologies, but normal users do not have a vote in staff forum threads.

Anyway, 3 bureaucrats and two administrators in conjunction supporting A, still makes this thread far too inconclusive as it stands.

I am thoroughly exhausted and rather sick at the moment, with many other tasks to do though, so I do not have the time to continue to argue about it.

@Firestorm808

What do you really think here? Without me pressuring you to vote B earlier?

My apologies, but normal users do not have a vote in staff forum threads.
Doesn't matter, more staff have votes for B than for A.

Anyway, 3 bureaucrats and two administrators in conjunction supporting A, still makes this thread far too inconclusive as it stands.
I think we need more staff weighing in on this or else this gonna go nowhere at all, since you yourself said that this is too inconclusive. Good, we can tag more staff then.

I am thoroughly exhausted and rather sick at the moment, with many other tasks to do though, so I do not have the time to continue to argue about it.
Then don't push yourself too much, Ant. We've been telling you to cut some slack for years now. Your health comes first.

Well, nobody else will properly take care of my most crucial administrative maintenance tasks if I do not handle them.

Anyway, I very much doubt that we will get out of our deadlock and reach a conclusion here, and the current statistics in the Rebirth Superman page are very misleading, so we definitely need to do something.

Well, nobody else will take care of my most crucial administrative maintenance tasks if I do not handle them.
Ant, you're not the only staff member here, there are several other staff members who can handle it for you, and you have 3 more bureaucrats helping you out with this. Seriously, take it easy. The wiki's not going anywhere.

I will tag staff members to take a look at our available options, in the meantime I ask @Confluctor that he put the options and the vote tallies in the OP and update them accordingly.

@CrimsonStarFallen @DemonGodMitchAubin @Theglassman12 @Sir_Ovens @ByAsura @Abstractions @Starter_Pack @Celestial_Pegasus @Colonel_Krukov @SamanPatou @DarkGrath @Planck69 @UchihaSlayer96 @Everything12 Which option do you think is best to go with here? I suggest you read the following options thoughtfully and give a vote out of your own volition, we will not pressure you into choosing.

I unfortunately seem to be the only one who has a proper system for wiki patrolling via years of experience, and I also need to attend to my subscribed discussion threads. If I ever take a day off I will have twice as much to do the day afterwards, and that would be so much work that it just isn't realistic.

This extremely comes off as pressuring
For gods sakes. I am not pressuring him. We need to confirm this, and can only do so by asking.

Option B won out two different polls done, and the """support""" for Option A is basically ******* agenda rallying because "we don't want the key".

This is coming across hella strongly as, looping the damn polls until Option A wins out or the key gets yeeted altogether, it's actually the worst look I've seen on the wiki period.

I hate to agree but I'm not fond of the look for Option A and I doubt I'm the only one at this point

Which of the following options/solutions do you think seems best for us to use?

A: Giving the 1-A World Forger a black eye from some sun dips, that have never remotely powered up Superman to anywhere near this degree previously, is a ridiculously extreme outlier that is irreconcilable with the overall narrative of the character, as he could have ended virtually every single world-threatening conflict that he has ever been involved in with extreme ease otherwise.

Our current tally seems to be the following then:

A: Antvasima, AKM sama, DarkDragonMedeus, Firestorm808, Promestein, SomebodyData, (Jibz)

B: Elizhaa, KLOL506, The_Impress, Qawsedf234, LordGriffin1000, Confluctor, Tllmbrg, (Kulf_Boba), (Greenshifter), (XXKINGXX69), (Hellbeast), (Bobsican), (Pikaman)

What do you think about the above? As you can see, our discussion is currently inconclusive.

I am sorry what? Multiple staff, who are extremely knowledgeable about the verse went for option 2, and is that not enough?

@Confluctor Would be so kind as to put the options above in your OP and make a vote tally?
I will do that after work.
