True. But damn what is it with all these characters with op powers needing to use their hands. Over Heaven DIO was also like this. Like you’d expect people on these levels to be able to use their abilities with a thought or from any parts of their body or something and not be limited to just their hands.

Blast uses his gravity ability to make sure he won't make a hand sign since to move to a higher dimension, he has to form a hand seal with both hands
Blast has the power of Dark? which absorbs the light of divinity.
Flash and Sonic are saying like "why are you not killing him" etc etc. oh and at the start of the chapter, Blast says that he trained for 15 years, so he can catch him alive (something like that)

So Blast said he has been honing his skills for the past 15 years to learn how to restrain others without killing them. Well I guess that might explain why Blast couldn’t take down Elder Centipede before. Must’ve been using it as a practice target for his restraining techniques while holding back.

Blast has good cosmic awareness and precog, he always knows the area where the dimensional slash will affect. It seems that he is indeed the only one who can "avoid" the slash, since in the last panel he is carrying Flash and Sonic, which implies that they alone cannot do it.

Just read the live Chinese translations for page 5 and yeah Void needs to make hand signs before he is capable of moving into higher dimension space. So this seems to be some form of ninjutsu rather than God’s power. Though this could also be an ninjutsu amped via God’s power and you can’t enter higher dimension space with the normal version.

Yeah, now that i think about it, Blast said that he(empty void) was the only one who could access the god's dimension, so maybe he was referring to that special jutsu. On the other hand, I think that the dimensional slash is in fact a god's power.
