His growth is completely dependent on how much the person pushes him, and doesn't have a consistent or linear rate of increase, so it will not always be "far higher"

"Higher" by itself already tells enough if you read the explanations and the manga.

There's no need to make it far higher or much higher. It's not downplay, it's accuracy.
Then he should have stopped growing once he was powerful enough to defeat the opponent. But, his power levels went far beyond what was required either way, and he reached a point where Garou was pretty much nothing to deal with. So, it's not just due to "how much a person pushes him". And, yeah, according to the graph, his growth is more akin to exponential.

He did stop growing once he was strong enough to effortlessly defeat Garou tho.

Garou continually grew along with him because he was evolving and mimicking his strength at the same time.

This pushed Saitama to grow way further beyond him, yeah, but that would rarely ever happen in a VS battle scenario.

With what you suggest, it would be "potentially far higher" rather than what it is now. Because it would rarely ever increase to that extreme extent against any other opponent who didn't grow like Garou does.

There's no need for it, though, because just "higher" already supports that.

I'm aware of that. If anything, it's more ridiculous because you're basically saying 'some people thought this was incorrect, so you're a bunch of downplayers.'
Iirc, it wasn't just some people who voiced their discontent regarding that. I'll have to recheck the blog.

We had a massive discussion in the thread, where most people who disagreed in the blog agreed here.

another prediction (about god)
blast: luckily the seal didn't break
Elf: God is a being of great power, if it had not been for another god from the past, this god would not have been sealed.
beast space king: thank goodness, if not, the entire multiverse would be threatened and would be destroyed
extra character (another of the shadows of the blast companions): you have to be careful, the power of god even sealed, is still so great as to destroy a universe and threaten a large number of worlds (it refers to universes, like the theory of the many worlds, for each universe there is an infinite number) if its power were completely released
an image of god liberated shining appears in his mind, along with a bunch of branches and branches destroyed
he would destroy all existence
yagi: but we have that such saitama, his power was obtained by breaking the limiter, the law that exists in all existence, with that power, his power to grow is unlimited, but he is not bigger than mine
blast: you underestimate him again, never underestimate human beings, they have great power, the power to make their wishes come true with their willpower,is the greatest power of the enteir existence
elf:better we go,we need still to search for the cube's,we don't want god to break and wake up

I think this might actually be a misunderstanding since the text during those panels said that Saitama grew so exponentially stronger that nobody was left to measure his strength meaning in theory its possible that he got so goddam stronger that Garou could not even read his power level beyond a certain point.

Why is Released Boros just High Hypersonic+? Even Child Emperor without Brave Giant is faster than him. I dislike Boros wank as much as anyone here but this is just ridiculous lol

We don't simply scale speed from threat levels. There's nothing directly backing it in the manga and the notion is often contradicted.

There are Demon levels that are MHS (and the Disciples should be MHS+ btw) in the wiki already, I don't think it's outlandish to assume that as an at least Dragon level threat Released Boros is as fast if not faster than them.
We don't do speed scaling via disaster levels anymore. If we did, Boros would still be MHS+

So Released Boros is stuck as HH+ even though that's completely ridiculous? He is among the slowest in the verse
I mean, until someone can find a better replacement, HH+ is the best we've got.

And hey, it's better then he used to be At least Supersonic+ lmao
