Did Saitama go FTE to Garou here while casual? How fast would that make him??

I mean we can use some slight upscaling.🫡
FTE>Upgraded Garou that neg diffs previous form>Garou evolving even further>FTL calc Garou
That’s not how upscaling works
FTL+ starts at 10c, Garou’s calc is 4.33c. That’s more than a 2x difference, and we do not (and have never) upscaled that much with nothing but a scaling chain.

I was about to say wiki doesn't allow it since most you can upscale is 1.2x but it might actually be possible. It is obvious that the FTL calc lowballs the result by a huge but unknown amount. So we have that, Garou blitzing PS at the end of fight, then getting even stronger after fighting Sage, then his new form against Saitama, then winged form Garou, then Saitama himself who scales much higher. If we applied 1.2x to each one, it would be almost 3x difference. I think scaling Saitama to baseline FTL+ shouldn't be a problem. I am just coping

I was being sarcastic with the emojis and everything but you guys seriously don’t upscale disgustingly huge scaling chains with bare minimum results?😟

It you recall when Orochi was 5-C+, we barely got Tatsumaki and MB Boros to upscale despite there only being a 1.3x difference between Orochi’s calc and baseline Low 5-B, and both of them (especially Tatsumaki) having massive stomp differences in their scaling chain. And even then, we couldn’t upscale them fully, they had to be stuck at Possibly Low 5-B.

If a 1.3x difference is barely allowed to upscale, we absolutely wouldn’t allow a >2x difference to upscale.

That’s just dumb tho, also I’m talking about a chain not a straight jump.
It was Boros~Tats>Psykorochi(god blessing)>Psykorochi>Orochi>Gaia cannon.
Which isn’t a 1.3x difference if u distribute it through a chain.

And once again it’s not a 2x difference cuz there’s a huge scaling chain behind it.

The chain doesn’t matter. The numbers themselves are what matter, and the difference is simply too big to upscale.

idk if that’s true or not but that’s quite low iq reasoning if I do say so myself.

so could psykorochi upscale 1.1x gaia cannon?

No, she can’t have a random 1.1x multiplier given to her. Upscaling is only allowed when a value is close to a + rating or close to baseline of the next tier. The value of Orochi’s calc is neither, so anyone that scales above it is just unquantifiably above his calc.

It is quite random yet not wrong.

mhm. that’s pretty mid. understandable. have a nice day.

don't know what the narration says but if he manages it, it should be relativistic, right?
Someone translated it. According to narration:

"Whether this was true, there is no way to verify. But at that instant.. saitama did in fact catch a glimpse of the back of his head"

Should be enough for a possibly rating. And now I think about it, this might scale to Spiral Garou.

Does anyone scale to partially hairless Saitama?

I think this is after he one-shot Cicada Larva, a Demon level.

As I said, spiral Garou might scale since he almost broke his limiter. Since Saitama is stated to have no potential, anyone close to breaking limiter should scale to him or above

Where's it stated that he almost broke it?

I believe that star-busting guide claims Boros broke his limiter, but didn't keep training like Saitama or something.

Start from here. And from what I remember, that Boros quote was about how he is beyond limits of living flesh, not about the limiter

Every dragon level threat aboutta be chilling at rel speeds rn🧍
It is funny how Gale Wind and Hell Flame are supposed to be speedsters and now they are gonna have AP advantage against other dragons instead of speed advantage assuming this gets accepted

'Starting' doesn't mean almost. Are you near the finish line if you're starting a race?

Garou's burned through 3 transformations and god knows how many amps since then without breaking it.

It seems Saitama is trying to look at the back of his head from the mirror. I don't know what the narration says but if he manages it, it should be relativistic, right?

FTL to an unknow degree If he can see himself.

If it was relativistic, light would just be blueshifed or redshifted.
He would not be able to see himself. Only way you can see "behind" you this way is in a straight line at over 99% the speed of light. But you can't see yourself still, just behind you.

The thing that makes me laugh though, is that it can make this quote from Murata's canon.https://cdn.**********.com/attachments/541765574422822922/972002344629833828/unknown.png

Because at that stage he is a monster. Gyoro Gyoro mentions how monsters ultimately can't surpass their limits and Genus says how becoming a monster isn't breaking limiter but becoming a different being altogether.

Besides, I am pretty sure in this case Starting=Almost. None of the previous transformations had the same statement. And that example is horribly out of context.

Monsters still have Limiters that she wants to break. Monsterification just accelerates the process of reaching the limits of a person's existing potential, which is the Limiter itself. The part about Monsterification not breaking their Limiter actually supports my point in context.

That really changes nothing. It just shows how far the other forms were from his limiter and that they weren't even beginning to break it.

But distance light travels is more than distance he turns around here.

I mean, we only have narration. We don't know if redshift happened. And mangas usually don't take that into account
Thing is context :
Saitama in this scene is trying to look at the back of the head in a mirror. The mirror reflects light, so you know that he can't look at the back of his head in any case he would just see his face in the reflection of the mirror.

Except if he was faster than light and his reflection were frozen during a short period of time. (Catch a glimpse of the back of his head) before he would see his face again.

Monsters still have limiters that she wants to break. Monsterification just accelerates the process of reaching a person's existing potential.
Isn't that just about how Gyoro doesn't simply wish to transform individual but also also make them break through limit? Because in the same page, she mentions how they have no room for growth.
That really changes nothing. It just shows how far the other forms were from his limiter.
That's the point. He already reached his limiter. Even if he is not breaking it, he still should scale to above Saitama since Garou's limit ≥ Saitama's limit

No, relativistic speed would allow seeing back of his head from proper distance as well. He would just see his head from a few moments ago while with FTL speed he would see the same instance. He should just turn around before light reflects from the mirror and reaches his eyes in the former case

Cleary you don't know how light work. '-'

They have no room for growth because they've become monsters who've reached the limits of their growth, i.e their Limiter. She's trying to overcome that Limiter, but only Orochi (FTL Orochi?) has been successful.
That's the point. He already reached his limiter. Even if he is not breaking it, he still should scale to above Saitama since Garou's limit ≥ Saitama's limit
Which doesn't make sense. Actually breaking a limiter would mean surpassing it.

Also, Limiter isn't just about reaching a stage of power, it's a state of being pushed that allows an individual to overcome this growth rate and gain explosively high amps. It's not saying Garou's reached a stage of strength where he's about to surpass his limiter, it's stating he's been bullied enough that he's beginning to break that wall and get a big amp soon.

We clearly have different interpretions of this. A few pages back it is said Garou should experience the death as a human to become a true monster. Just becoming monster like others isn't enough because they can't surpass limits at all. Gyoro tries to surpass that limiter by making supposedly "true monster" from a human.

What the heck. That growth is what leads to reaching the limiter but they are not the same thing. The limiter itself is static. Garou had many explosive growths before reaching to his limiter.
