As for One Punch Man, I think it's good and that's it. I don't think it's that good or a masterpiece, cool manga with cool art and fights. Characters are more developed than most of the current shounen we have like the trash that Black Clover is and it's fun to read.

Luffy only gets Gear 2nd 1/3rd of the way through the story.
I didn't really find DS particularly good. I liked the animation and action, but it was kind of boring outside of the action.

All of you guys here hating on the shonen series. And then there’s me sitting here alone liking these very things you guys are ******** on. Seriously am I the only one who likes pretty much everything I watch? Like most shonens are repetitive or cliche that’s true but that’s part of the fun. Cause I’ll be honest most series have been trying to break the trend so often that you don’t often see a fun normal cliche series. Like 6/10 series are still a fun series.

I try to enjoy stuff I read or watch but it's impossible now for me. I try to not overlook the manga but ****, it's so generic. I tried Kaiju N°8 and holy ****, the first two pages is literally what 30 years of the past shounen have done. Mf have a motivation of becoming a higher tier officer (Yo Naruto) and join a friend there (yo every-single-rival) while he turns into the thing he tries to destroy (yo AoT and TG while not being shounens) and then have a poor motivation writen with the MC screaming on a spread page.
